39 First Lies of Merri

　

　

At two o'clock in the morning, Merri and Kusuma were back at their residence. The silent dark night was quiet, making both of them silent during the trip. This also continues when they are at home. Kusuma rushed to retrieve the puppet jailangkung which was entrusted by Mr. Randi so that it could be secured. Merri sat in her room.

“You were never expected...!”

“You are a great girl but dearly born by a woman like her.!”.

“He tried to kill you!”

The words of the devil that came out of Arinda's mouth rang in her mind. Hearts doubt. It wasn't that he wanted to believe all the devil's bullshit, it was just that all the lies were disturbing him enough.

From the outside of her bedroom door, Merri heard footsteps coming in. He knew it was his mother, Kusuma. Merri immediately lay on the bed, covering all her body with a blanket.

“Merri?” call Kusuma. Seeing her son asleep, Kusuma just closed the room curtains, turned off the lights and closed the room door. On the look of his face read that he was very worried about Merri's condition. He was also afraid that Merri would be consumed by the demon talk he first faced.

Karin Residence

The girl again felt bad. On the bed in a state of slumber, he felt something back up on his bed. Karin was half conscious trying to see who was coming. He was more hopeful that if what bothered him was the rat compared to the demon again. Unfortunately, his body is hard to move. Even his fingers were hard to move.

“Hiks... not again! Please!” thought Karin. His eyes are still closed but he knows that his body condition is not in a dream. His body and mind are conscious if he is in full consciousness.

“Ck ck's... Kaaariiiin!!” his name was called out quietly in a whispering voice.

Karin opened her eyes, and there she saw someone standing right on her body. His body was completely black, it was unclear if he was a female or male. But a pair of red eyes that indicate if the presence is marked bad.

“Hiks..!!” Karin wanted to cry and yell at her parents. But the voice was stuck in the throat.

“Karin, fear not, it's me Micah!” whispered the creature.

Karin is scared. Micah's name was heard in his ears. Let alone his presence, he preferred to be inside a sewer filled with rats.

“So, would you like to come with me?” bring him.

“Mac, babe... Please!” inner Karin. “Please!” but all that was heard was a sobbing that was stuck in the trunk of his throat.

“Do not be afraid Karin, tell a friend. You are the best and better friend in compare Arinda.” Persuade the black figure who claimed Micah. His standing position still remained there with sharp eyes staring at him. Karin closed her eyes, she did not want to see the creature.

“Go!”  inner Karin.

Two long fingers that were cold and fishy wiped Karin's face. Disgust and fear spread throughout his body. Tears came out because he was already scared.

“You know what Arinda said about you?” whispered the creature, “Arinda said, if Karin does not deserve any man, because she is not at all beautiful let alone cool. From his style, he can

guess Karin really likes Tito, but unfortunately Tito never saw her as a woman.” Say the creature.

Karin's heart was mixed, amid the fear that continued to terrorize, his heart was also injured. He was very sad to hear the speech of the creature, moreover it was the opinion he heard from Arinda.

“The arc is two-faced! For the sake of a new friend he also dumped you! Once he's done!” continued.

“It's enough!” inner Karin. He really did not want to hear what the creature was saying.

“I can help you make things happen, didn't you call me Karin? So we can be friends!”

Karin opened her eyes, she saw the creature that turned out to have brought her face closer to Karin's. One thing Karin saw, if the creature was not Micah at all.

The morning came. Merri immediately rushed off to school. He was wearing shoes, heading to the dining table to drink a glass of milk. The fried rice breakfast Kusuma prepared was not touched in the least. There is no time, for today he is in a hurry.

“You mom inter?” tawar Kusuma's.

Merri actually wanted to go alone. But the clock has shown seven hours less than ten minutes. Finally he nodded.

During the trip there were no words he said. He only watched Kusuma silently then threw his gaze towards the watch he was wearing.

“Bring stock, yes!” kusuma.

Merri just nodded. He put the stock that has been placed on the dashboard. After that he said nothing more. Kusuma could read the myriad of questions he held in his mind. He let Merri think about it all and deal with it wisely if her daughter asks all the questions.

By the time the car arrived in front of the school. Merri opened the car door and rushed over. Kusuma just looked at the child with an anxious look. But three steps later he saw Merri reverse

his body and open the car door. It turned out that he had taken a bottle of water that he had forgotten to bring.

Just before the car door closed, Merri finally looked into her mother's eyes. Two pairs of eyes between the mother and the child meet each other. Kusuma gulped down dry saliva, this time he felt nervous looking at his son. Moreover, Merri's gaze was extremely flat with no expression.

“Bu, last night mom was really cool, however I am proud of mom!” merri.

“Hah?!” Kusuma gawked, what he just heard, Merri praised him.

“I go to school first, later we will have a long discussion. I prepared a lot of snacks.” Said Merri who then smiled, and in Kusuma's eyes was the most beautiful smile he had ever seen.

“Good, if it wants you!” nod Kusuma, “Have fun at school!” continued.

Merri nodded while smiling. He closed the car door and treated the mother who had turned the direction. As the yellow sedan car moved away, the smile faded. He turned his back and saw the gates of KASSANOVA High School.

Honestly in his little heart he was very afraid of dealing with people at school today. Actually his feet are a bit reluctant to tread on the first tile of this school. She was afraid that all eyes were looking at her with a glance

weird, like his old school. If his mother hadn't dropped him off at school today, he would have been covering somewhere else today, not school.

“Huft! What should I do, huh?” thought Merri. “This is not a male pekara, not Arinda's problem as well, but the principal's mother and Tito also know. Huft!” merri's chest became tight.

TEEETT... TEEET...!!

The school bell rang. All the students who were still outside the gate ran in before the black iron fence was closed by Asep. But Merri is still weighing, willing to enter or skip.

“I truant today only, ga what?” break up Merri reverse. He stepped out of school.

“Merri. Where are you going?” call Tito who has just arrived. He got down from his car that was stuck in the special parking lot of students and immediately approached Merri.

“Aaa... the...anu....!” Merri.

“Current in, today Physics, the teacher our walas, the fierce one!” take Tito who pulled Merri's backpack.

“But..but..!!”

“Ayuu!!” Tito keeps pulling Merri. Finally Merri who is not an expert in lying just according to. He looks like a kitten when Tito pulls.

From a distance, Karin sees Tito and Merri. Karin's hands clenched, but her gaze was hollow with a slightly pale face.
