"Jack, aren't you cold?" ask Alesha. Her husband, Jacob, did not wear a single top.
Jacob just smiled a little. He's obviously cold. The temperature inside the forest was low, plus, this morning, the weather was overcast and the wind was strong. It might rain soon.
"I told you to wear clothes last night."
"Do you think this is gonna happen, Al?" ask Jacob back.
Alesha shook her head, "Of course not."
"Well, I'm the same. I didn't think I would be in this situation. If I had known earlier, I would probably have worn thick clothes."
Alesha exhaled, slowly. That's right, too, what Jacob said. They both did not expect to be in the current position.
Now all Alesha and Jacob do is walk through the woods. Hope to find a way to get to the settlement.
"Jack, we're lost, huh? I feel that since then we are just going around in circles" said Alesha, resignedly.
Jacob nodded small. He and Alesha were clearly in the middle of the wilderness. I don't know which region. There are no communication tools they carry. How can their families find them then?
"Where should we go now?" Alesha stopped her steps. It had been more than an hour he had walked with Jacob, but there was no clue they had found to get out of the forest. "I'm tired."
"I..." Jacob held his wife's shoulders back to prevent her from falling.
"I'm hungry, Jack. My body is limp now," said Alesha.
Jacob was silent, thinking. One side he could not bear to see Alesha who was tired and hungry, but on the other hand, they were in the middle of the forest. Jacob is unlikely to leave Alesha alone to find food.
"If we find a river, I'll catch a fish for us, Al" Jacob said.
"Eating raw fish, is that it?"
"Of course not. I can make a fire by rubbing rocks. Yeah, even if it takes a long time."
"Oh yeah? That's a very old-fashioned way." Alesha chuckled, "But it would be very useful in this situation."
"You still strong, honey?" Jacob looked anxiously at his wife.
"Eitherway. I don't know. I'm hungry, limp and thirsty, Jack," Alesha replied, slowly.
Jacob took a long breath. It is the same. Tired, hungry, thirsty, plus all over his body that feels pain because of the rest of the fight earlier. But he must be strong for Alesha.
"Want a break?" soft bargain Jacob.
Alesha nodded. "Maybe it's better. At least to restore power."
A moment later, the two of them stepped a few meters to find a comfortable location to sit and rest for a moment.
"Jack, is there no fruit in the middle of this forest or something to eat? How about we just find some food after this?"
Jacob smiled gently, "With your condition limp like this? No, Al. I'll look for him."
"But...." Alesha looked at her husband's upper body pias which had a lot of bruises and some scratches of dry blood. "But you're the same. You must have been very tired from the fight, Jack," said Alesha. "Don't force yourself. Just rest first."
"And let you starve?" Jacob smiled again, "I'm not that weak, honey. I'm still capable."
"The color of you forcing yourself to be capable, when in fact you're already tired and in pain from those injuries, Jack."
Jacob stroked the top of his wife's head. He was a little calm, because at least, Alesha would not be too cold because she wore long pajamas, a jacket - which was not too thick - and a veil.
"Your palms are cold, Jack." Alesha looked anxiously at her husband.
Jacob didn't reply. He just smiled softly. His strength was drained so much, even right now, just to talk was tired.
"You'll just put on my jacket." Alesha took off her jacket.
"Don't you get cold." Jacob refuses subtly.
"I wear long pajamas and a veil. I won't be cold. You're the one who's cold!" nagel Alesha. He forced Jacob to put on his jacket. But alas, Jacob's body was too big, the jacket didn't fit.
"It doesn't fit, Al." Jacob chuckled, "It's fine. I'm fine."
"You're not okay!" Alesha looked at her husband. "Shut up!" She then covered her husband's shoulders and back in her jacket, and tied her arm around Jacob's neck.
"Thank you, my dear." Jacob stroked gently next to Alesha's cheek. "You know, Al where's the warmest place for me?"
Next to Alesha's eyebrows raised. Whereabouts?
"You. You're the place" Jacob continued, gently hugging his wife's body. "It's the warmest place for me."
Alesha smiled clumsyly. Aish, in such a situation, Jacob might even embarrass him.
"Is it still cold?" alesha asked, hugging her husband's body.
Jacob shook his head, "This is much better, and comfortable. We can warm each other up, right?"
Alesha nodded.
They hugged each other for a long time. Both warm themselves from strong winds in the morning. Up there, the clouds darkened, the raindrops began to fall slowly.
"Jack, how's it raining? There's no shelter here."
Jacob quiet. Think hard. Where should he and his wife go to find shelter?
Moments later, like water spilled from a big tub at once, it rained heavily and violently.
Alesha hugged her husband's body firmly, but it did not make her avoid being exposed to the cold air. Alesha's body trembled quite fiercely.
"Al!" Jacob had to raise his voice even more because the volume around him was filled with the sound of rainwater. "Olsha!" He moved his wife's body, anxious that something bad happened to Alesha.
"Jack, it's cold." - Alesha softly shook.
"Al!" Jacob let go of his embrace, looking at the pale face of the Wife with lips that began to turn blue. "You must be strong! Okay. I'm with you. You must be strong!" Jacob cupped Alesha's face, "For Baby J, Al. You have to hold on. Be strong!"
Alesha nodded slowly. He will try his best to survive the cold air and raindrops that like piercing his body.
"Patience, Honey. I'm gonna find a way out of here." Jacob hugged Alesha tightly. Really, if you can say, the condition is not much different from Alesha now. But if he is weak, then what is the fate of Alesha, especially their fetus?
A thick cloud of fog now traps the couple.
Thankfully, the rain fell not long. Just about half an hour or so. The rest is just fog and drizzle.
"We have to continue the journey, Alesha. We can't stay here" Jacob said, smiling at his wife's face.
Alesha stared weakly at her husband, "Where? I'm not strong if I have to walk far at the moment. My stomach hurts because I haven't eaten, my body feels weak, Jack."
"We must have found a clue. Believe that God will help us and lead us on the way out. Okay." Okay." Jacob tried to convince.
"But I'm limp, Jack," said Alesha.
Jacob's body had actually been crushed, his body was filled with wounds, but he would hold on as hard as possible to Alesha and Baby J. He's gonna hold Alesha.
"Go to my back slowly, Alesha." Jacob knelt down, turned his back on his wife.
"No. You won't be strong, Jack."
"Don't say much. Follow my orders!"
"You sure?" Alesha stared anxiously at the back of her husband who was no less battered from the front body.
"Al!" Jacob snapped a little.
Alesha was silent for a moment, thinking with a sad look fixed on her husband.
A moment later, Alesha relented. She moved slowly, rising to her husband's back.
Jacob's hand shook. His legs hurt a lot when moved, especially when he stood up with Alesha leaning on his back. He continued to persuade his feet to hold on, continuing to step footing for a foothold. He could only hiss, biting his lips whenever the pain pierced his head.
"Jack, hiks.." call Alesha with a small sip. She was very worried about her husband's condition.
"I'm fine, honey," Jacob replied.
Alesha shook her head, "No. Hiks, you're not okay."
Jacob again hissed, enduring the piercing pain all over his body.
"Jack, hiks, don't force yourself. That's enough, we can rest again."
"With your current condition, Al? No. gabe. I don't want to risk the worse" Jacob replied.
"But you're in pain, Jack. Hixes. You are no less bad than my current condition."
"I can, Al."
"What if we get lost in the woods?"
Jacob quiet. Right now, he was completely relying on his natural instinct to choose a path.
"Jack.." -...."
"If we don't move, we can die of hunger and cold in the woods, Al."
Alesha did not reply. He lowered his head, and wept softly at Jacob's shoulders.

At 08.30 WIB
Geraldo pulled a man and pushed him to the point where he fell on Laura's leg.
"What is this, Geral?"
"He did it, Madam. He betrayed us all. He ran away earlier, but I managed to catch him."
"Bringing us over?" Laura nodded.
"He gave sleeping pills to all my men. He's working with Dirga" explained Geraldo.
"What's the motive?" Laura stared intently at the man who fell before her.
"Dirga said he would pay a lot more than you, ma'am. And he foolishly accepted and betrayed us" replied Geraldo.
Laura knelt down, aligned her face with the Traitor.
"What the hell are you doing?" ask Laura, flat.
"Mh.. Ma's.. Sorry, Madam..." The voice of the Traitor trembled with fear.
"Tell me what you did to my son and daughter-in-law?"
"Say everything!" Geraldo gave a hard beat to the traitor's body.
"Se.. Overnight... I already know that Miss Alesha always wakes up in the middle of the night because she's hungry. So, Mr. Dirga asked me to make a fake bomb and outwit Mr. Jacob, then took Miss Alesha away" the Traitor explained in a raucous voice.
"Where did they take Jacob and Alesha away?" ask Laura.
"In the middle of the forest, ma'am. But I don't know where the exact location is."
"Geraldo said you gave the guards sleeping pills and my men here?"
"I.. Yes, Madam. I did it on Mr. Dirga's orders."
"Then what are you doing again, and what plans will Dirga do to Jacob and Alesha?" Laura was calm.
"I don't know, Madam. I was just ordered to keep an eye on the situation in this mansion, and distract Mr. Jacob, then give Dirga's men access to the mansion."
Laura grinned, "Good. At least you're being honest." He stood up. "Maybe it would be better if Geraldo punished you. It could be lighter than the punishment I gave you."
"What's? Mistress, sorry.sorry, Mistress. I promise I won't repeat that again. Please forgive me, Madam." The traitor wept, pleading as he hugged Laura's feet.
"Geraldo, take him. Don't let me punish him!" the cold word Laura.
"Okay, Madam." Geraldo nodded obediently.
"Mrs Laura... I'm begging... Hiks hyks, I'm sorry. I promise it won't be like that again, ma'am..."
Bugh!
Geraldo punched the traitor hard in the face. "Shut up! Because you're the one I'm blamed for Miss Laura for not knowing about last night!" He growled furiously. No one of his men should have reported last night in case of the abduction of Alesha. One of his men had betrayed him and gave sleeping pills to his other men.
"Mrs Laura..." Taylor who had just arrived at the living room doorway was a little surprised at the sight of Geraldo who was pulling rough on one of his friends. Yep! The person Geraldo was pulling was his friend. What the hell's going on?
"Have you found anything, Taylor?" laura asked as she sat back down on the sofa.
Taylor's attention was on Lady Laura.
"Yes, Madam. I managed to get the last location of the car that Mr. Jacob was carrying" Taylor replied.
"Oh yeah, find out where Dirga is now. As I thought earlier that he was the mastermind who made a mess this morning" Laura said.
"Okay, Madam." Taylor nodded obediently.
"Mother.." call Mona who just showed up. He walked over and sat down next to his mother, "Mom, has Jacob met?" tanyanya. Ever since she found out about the incident last night, she started crying for fear that her younger brother was seriously injured. She is very worried that Jacob will be the same fate as her current husband who is still in intensive care in hospital.
Laura exhaled her breath as calmly as possible, "Not yet, Mona. But Taylor's been able to find the last location of the car Jacob was carrying."
"Where is he now, Mom? Hiks hyks," said Mona.
Laura simply replied to her eldest daughter with a weak look. If only Mona could be so anxious that she cried since then because she was worried about Jacob's condition, let alone her who is Jacob's biological mother. The difference is, he can't cry. He must be strong so that Jacob and Alesha can return safely.
***
Back to Alesha and Jacob.
They both found a river that was not very large, and not deep, at most only as high as the thighs of adults. The river flow was calm and very clear.
Alesha leaned limply against a tree three meters away from the river's lips. His body grew limp, his face grew pale, and what added up was that his young pregnant symptoms recurred. Several times Alesha vomited, and made her head grow dizzy.
As for Jacob, he was busy making fire from the rocks. For quite a while, fifteen minutes or so, a spark appeared. Jacob immediately added a few small pieces of wood until the flame grew bigger. Big enough to burn fish, cassava, or something like that. At least, it could make his wife, Alesha feel warm.
"Al, you wait here" Jacob said, carrying the burned wood.
"Where are you going?" alesha asked, worried.
"I saw a beehive. I'll take it for us" Jacob replied.
"How is it, Jack? You'll be stung!" Alesha looked worried.
"will not. I'm gonna divert those bees using smoke."
"But, Jack, are you sure? Have you ever harvested honey directly in the middle of a forest?"
Jacob flicked his shoulders, "In the forest behind WOSA, I've harvested honey several times directly. Yeah, even if I wear special clothes, anyway."
"But you're not wearing clothes now!" Alesha tried to remind her husband who had walked towards the beehive somewhere. "HEY!"
I don't know what Jacob is thinking right now. Alesha was so worried. Afraid that her husband would be attacked by the bees.
"Astagfirulah.... Oh God..." Alesha closed her eyes, trying to calm down. Goody! He's alone now. What if Jacob forgets the way back to her? You shitty guy! She was also with her husband then. But really, he was too weak to walk again.
As for Jacob, he walked into the forest. Not too far from where his wife was, precisely on a tree trunk as high as one and a half meters, the beehive is now being swarmed by bees.
Jacob doesn't want to waste time. He made a puff of smoke so thick that it distracted the bees.
Jacob had to be extra careful not to get stung. Moreover, he did not wear top clothes.
Alesha's husband will not take all the large honeycomb, he will cut and take half of it.
"Shush..." Jacob hissed as several bees flew near him. It must be quick or the bees will return to their hive and then attack it.
"Huf... Thank God, O Allah..." Jacob smiled with relief. He managed to get half the beehive smoothly. Now, it was time to return to Alesha after she confirmed that no fire was burning around the forest.
"Luck! Yuck!" Alesha held her stomach. The excessive nausea he is facing now worsens his condition. "Luck!.... Huhft, ashtagfirullah...." Alesha leaned her body back limply against the tree while holding her shrunken head.
"Darling.." call Jacob who's back. He knelt down, looking at his wife.
"I'm okay" said Alesha. "I'm just dizzy and nauseous. Oh yeah, you managed to get that beehive?" Alesha stared at the beehive her husband was carrying.
Jacob nodded.
Jacob shook his head.
"How can you?" next to Alesha's eyebrows raised.
"There's a technique, of course. You think I just took it from you? Never mind, don't ask too many questions. You should try this. Look at the honey, golden and white, clean. You're gonna love it." Jacob placed the honeycomb on a wide leaf that had been washed in the river earlier.
"Whoa, Jack. I never ate a honeycomb. Especially those harvested directly from the middle of the forest."
"Then you should try it now, Alesha. It can restore our energy." Jacob cut off the honeycomb and gave it to his wife. "Try it, you'll like it, honey."
Alesha. It's weird. Does it taste good?
"Come, Honey. Try it.." persuade Jacob with a smile.
Alesha bit her lower lip, seemingly unsure. However, slowly but surely the honeycomb touched the lips then he bit a little to taste.
"How's it?" both Jacob irises were curious.
Alesha stunned. Fasting a delicious sweet taste in her mouth.
"Nake, Al?"
Alesha stared back at her husband, "This... This is what it really feels like?" Highlight his eyes as if hinting in disbelief, "Enak, Jack." He smiled widely. "Sugary sweetness. Fitting."
"I told you, right." Jacob cut back the little honeycomb for her. "It's delicious. I love harvesting honeycombs with my mentors back in WOSA."
"Bahhh!!"
Prok! Prok! Prok!
Alesha clapped her hands, "It feels good! I want some more!"
Jacob chuckled at the behavior of his wife who was like a child just now.
The mood continues. Jacob and Alesha decided to take a short break on the riverbank. The sun is also now beginning to appear, and the light is coming in, through the trees. Contrary to the situation this morning cloudy and heavy rain, by noon, the weather turned hot and quite hot.
Alesha was still leaning against the tree, and Jacob was sitting opposite her. They chatted little, with occasional discussions of the friendly and deathly hot topic that Jacob shot for his wife.
But even so, however they were lost in the middle of the forest. They should be able to get out of that forest at least before nightfall.
"Come, Al. We continue on the road now. The rest of this honeycomb let me take it. For our supplies," said Jacob.
Alesha nodded.
"You're strong walking, right?" Jacob looked at his wife.
"Just calm. I'm okay," lied Alesha. She did not want to trouble her husband by telling him that he was still weak, and not too ready to continue the journey.
"Baby J." Jacob knelt down and gently stroked his wife's flat stomach, "Alright, yes inside. We'll be home soon. Muezz."
***
Hours had passed, Alesha and Jacob were walking down the river. Jacob thought they could find a way to go home, or meet someone, or even arrive at the village if they followed the river.
Meanwhile, Taylor and Geraldo were the same, and they went into the forest, to the point where Dirga's body was at the moment. They can't track Jacob and Alesha's position, so they track down Dirga's position first which might lead them to find Jacob and Alesha.
At 17.15 WIB.
"Jack, what time is it now, huh?" ask me alesha.
"I don't know, Al," Jacob replied softly. "Why? You tired? Want to rest, honey?"
Alesha shook her head, "Later out in the night. I want to get out of this forest."
Jacob breathed patiently. It seemed impossible for him and his wife to get out of the forest before nightfall. The sun is now at the bottom. In less than an hour, the day will change. If he is alone, it does not matter because he is not afraid of anything or thinking strange and miscellaneous. He will only focus on finding a way out and continue the journey no matter it is night. But the thing is, he is with Alesha, his current wife. He cannot be selfish by continuing to force the journey. Alesha will be very exhausted. Lucky if you don't get sick.
"How is this, Geral? Mr. Jacob and Ms. Alesha were not with Dirga as it turned out," Taylor said, staring straight at the nine bodies of the man - including Dirga - before her.
"Who killed them? Did Mr Jacob and Miss Alesha have any other enemies, and it was that other enemy who killed Dirga and his men in order to get Miss and Master?"
Geraldo shook his head, "No. No one or other enemy. Mr. Jacob took them all out."
"How come? I'm sure they're great fighters, Geral." Taylor stared in disbelief at his friend.
"Have you never seen Mr. Jacob fight, Taylor? You're his assistant, aren't you?" Geraldo stared back at Taylor. "Mr Jacob is no ordinary fighter. He beat ten of my men in three rounds while we were training together. He even made my body battered, yes even though he managed to defeat me completely in three rounds as well. But his fighting technique is deadly. Did you see the bodies of Dirga's men? How shiny. I can imagine how Mr. Jacob killed them with a grimace."
"So, where are you and Miss now?" Taylor is sad. He was worried, Jacob and Alesha were like family and sister to him.
"They must have gone into the woods." Geraldo looked straight ahead. "Finding a way out of this wilderness."
"They must be lost right now" Taylor said. "This forest is so dense, we've only taken a few hours to reach this point."
"Master!" one of Geraldo's men ran up to Taylor, as well as Geraldo, "I found the footprints there!"
***
"Jack..." Alesha hugged her husband's arm tightly. It's already dark. He's afraid.
Jacob smiled gently. He just finished making a big bonfire. That was enough to make her also Alesha feel warm.
"Why?" ask gently Jacob.
Alesha did not reply. He looked down, moody.
"Hey, it's okay, honey. Don'tbeafraid. There I am here." Jacob wrapped his arm around Alesha's waist and his arm again hugged Alesha from the front. "Just think, Al, let your heart be at ease, and we are protected by God." Jacob kissed his wife's soft forehead.
Alesha nodded slowly. "You're not scared, Jack?" tanyakanya.
Jacob shook his head while smiling lightly, "No. The only thing I'm afraid of right now and since is your condition, Al. I'm afraid you're why."
"You must be lying! We're in the middle of the wilderness. There's no way you're not scared." Alesha pursed her lips.
Jacob laughed at hearing that. "I told you what I was afraid of. As for the others, I was just anxious, worried that there would be a wild beast or a slithering beast approaching or attacking us."
"Is that all?"
"Darling, don't think anywhere. Okay. Think positive. We're gonna be fine. God is always looking after us. Don'tbeafraid. There I am here. I can't leave you." Jacob stroked the top of his wife's head.
Alesha nodded. Jacob was right, he shouldn't have thought anything strange. Ghosts, for example. God always took care of her husband. He does not need to be afraid, only obliged to be vigilant when at any time encountering wild animals.
"Had better get some sleep, yeah. You are tired, and sleep can restore our energy, also speed up time," Jacob said as he unfurled five broad leaf midribs taken from one of the trees.
They both lay on their sides and hugged each other, channeling warmth over the five leaflets.
"Don't forget to read the prayer, Lil Ale" said Jacob.
Alesha just nodded slowly. He did not dare to look around. So he deliberately put his face on Jacob's chest, and began to shut down.
But what happened, precisely Alesha was unable to sleep even though she had closed her eyes tightly and tried to calm down.
"Jack..."
"Hmmm..."
"You haven't slept?"
"Not yet if you haven't slept. I'll sleep after you, honey."
Alesha smiled slightly hearing that. I don't know, but right now, he feels like Jacob really isn't playing around and keeping him safe and comfortable.
"I can't sleep." Alesha puffed up, looking at her husband.
"Should I tell you a fairy tale, Al?" Jacob chuckled, staring back at the Wife. "The princess sleeps for example."
"That's too ordinary. I want another fairy tale" Alesha replied.
"The story of the love of a mentor and his student, is it?"
Alesha shook her head, "No. I already know that story."
"Oh yeah? But you don't know the end yet, honey."
"What a happy ending, Big Guy. I don't know the full story, but I'm sure it will be a happy ending coupled with the birth of the crown prince and princess who will complete the lives of the two main characters."
Jacob smiled broadly. Hey, he and Alesha are insinuating their love story right now.
***
It's been a very night. The sound of an owl who was out of nowhere said to each other along with the loud sounds of crickets and other forest animals.
Jacob quiet. Still not sleeping. But at least, Alesha was already sleeping at this moment.
Far away in the river, between two shady trees, Jacob was not very clear to see something quite high in dull white. Something like turning her back. He doesn't know what it is. Ghosts maybe?
"Astagfirefull!" Jacob was a little surprised. Fortunately, Alesha did not continue to wake up because what she saw was true as she expected.
Ghost lady in a dull dress and long hair. His face was not too sinister, yet it looked pitiful.
Jacob turned his gaze in the other direction. What's he supposed to do? Should he wake up Alesha and leave the place?
But even the female ghost did not move at all in its place.
Is Jacob scared? No. gabe. He had met a ghost several times while on a mission in the middle of the forest first with other SIO agents, and he was with his friends indifferently. But what he was worried about right now was Alesha. His wife is pregnant. What if the ghost of the woman approached.
"Don't bother us if you don't want to die twice!" jacob said, slowly. He was once taught by Grandpa Ujang how to drive away ghosts when the late Alshiba was approached by ghosts at that time. "Go!"
After that, Jacob lowered his gaze while closing his eyes while reading the verse of the chair several times.
Three minutes or so, Jacob opened his eyes again, and found the ghost was still in place.
"Hard-headed! I said go!" jacob muttered, a little firmly.
"Why, Jack? There's a ghost, huh?"
The deg!
"Olsha! You awake?" Jacob surprised. He looked down, looking at his wife.
"I woke up because he woke me up." Alesha pointed towards the female ghost without taking her gaze away from Jacob.
"How did you know? You're sleeping, right?" Jacob stared in disbelief at his wife.
Alesha smiled slightly. "I can see it through another view."
"What's? Wait, I don't get it." Jacob squinted both of his eyes.
"He was there because he saw his partner near us. Pretty far, from us. But that's what kept him from leaving" explained Alesha.
"Huh? I don't understand what you're saying."
"You know sixth sense?" ask Alesha back.
Jacob nodded. Doubtful.
"Actually, I have that. Descended from Grandpa Ujang. But my inner eyes have been closed since I was seven years old by Grandpa, at the request of umi and my father. But even so, I still like to see, even communicate with ghosts. Not often, anyway. It's even very rare. Lastly, I saw and communicated with ghosts as I moved into the house I was living in with Rangga in America. And now, I saw also just communicating with the ghost again."
Jacob scratched his forehead. Is Alesha joking? Or lying?
"I don't want to see his face, I'm afraid. But he won't bother us. This is where he lives, Jack."
"Did you see the other ghosts too, Al?" jacob asked, curious.
"No. I only saw the Miss, and her partner who was not far from us. But if it's her partner, I can't see clearly, which is for sure she's tall. Less like you."
"Where's the position?" ask Jacob.
"You see that banyan tree." Alesha pointed back. "There. I fear. I don't want to see it. His face is so scary, Jack!" alesha's body suddenly shook with fear. He plunged his face deeper into Jacob's chest.
"You see his face? I didn't see anyone there, Al. The ghost of that woman has also disappeared." Jacob looked around.
"No!" Alesha shook her head. "They're still in place. I saw the ghostly face of that man, but his body was still unclear. His face is smashed, Jack! I'm scared!"
Jacob started to panic, "Should we move out of here?"
Alesha shook her head again, "Don't. Here the most neutral energy and aura, elsewhere can be much more negative, that's why I told you to rest and spend the night here."
"Then how? They'll bother you!"
"No. They won't bother us. I told you not to bother us. But they seem to want to tell me something. Be present... Sorry, I can't..." Alesha started talking.
"I..." Jacob looked anxiously at his wife.
"Don't... Okay-okay... All right, just say it, but don't give me a taste. I beg..." Alesha opened both of her eyelids. He sat up quickly. "Huf... Heat.... Hot, Jack." She glanced at her husband.
"hot? The temperature here is so cold, Alesha?" Jacob stared at the astonished wife who was struggling like a hot person.
"No... It's very hot. Not from the temperature of this forest, but the female ghost gave me this hot taste."
"Huh?" really, Jacob was very clueless. Alesha why?
"Enough, Miss! Don't give me a taste. I'm not strong. If anyone wants to say, just say it. Don't give me the feeling you felt the last time before your death." Alesha firmly grasped the palm of her husband's hand.
"Al, what are you talking about, anyway?" Jacob raised his voice a little.
"This lady is telling me about her. She's...." Alesha closed both her eyes. "She's pregnant, she's from an era... Um, that's a long way, Jack. She died with her husband, burned by time.... Huft.... Huft... The heat! Geez, I said don't give it a taste!" Alesha was a little bit of a nag.
"Dead with her husband? Burned time? Al, you're not kidding or trying to freak me out, are you?"
"Jack, I'm real! Alright... My husband and I will pray for you. But don't bother us. Me and my husband just want to hitch a break here, and we're not going to do anything negative...." Alesha opened her eyes again. "Jack, pray now!"
Jacob scrunched his forehead. He's still really confused.
"The ghost is right next to me, Jack. Help me get him away from me."
"WHAT?" Jacob was surprised to hear that. Hey, that ghost was in the river!
"Miss Anna, please, don't bother us. Don't give me a taste. Yes, I am pregnant. Then don't bother me. Keep away.." Alesha.
***
"Yes, ma'am, we've got a lead. We're down the river right now."
"Yes, Madam, we will definitely find Miss Alesha and Mr Jacob."
"Together, Madam."
Taylor turned off her phone. It was Laura who contacted him, asked him the news, and the development of the search for Jacob and Alesha. Since then, he and his team have been following footprints attached to the ground.
While Geral, he parted ways with Taylor, looking for Jacob and Alesha elsewhere.
In total there are four teams deployed by Laura to search for her son and daughter-in-law who went missing in the middle of the wilderness.
"It's a former campfire, right?" One of the men pointed at a point near the river's lips.
"There's no way it's a former climber's bonfire. This region is not any mountain climbing route" Taylor said, "This must be a former Master and Miss."
"There's another trail, Taylor." One of the men approached Taylor. "There are faint footprints there."
***
Back to Alesha and Jacob.
"Are they still here, Al?" ask Jacob.
"I don't see them anymore" replied Alesha limply. His energy is drained enough to communicate with the ghost of Miss Anna. "What a pity, Jack. Just imagine, they're close together, but they can't be together. Even to communicate they can't" said Alesha. "I think it's a lot more torturous. Hiks, you imagine, me and you face each other, close together, we both look at each other, but on the other hand, we can not reach each other, communicate, let alone hug to let go of longing. Hiks. What a pity for their fate."
Jacob remained silent, and listened to every word of his wife.
An hour passed quickly. Jacob was lying down again hugging his wife. For a moment, he wondered. Was Alesha joking? Communicating with ghosts? That's kind of weird. But real.
Eventually, Jacob was tired. He closed both of his eyelids, and followed Alesha to dreamland.
