"Jack! Soon you'll be late!"
Ricard's thunderous screams made Jack surprised as well as more quickly prepare to go to school.
Indeed, today Jack will enter his new school in Indonesia.
Jack pulled out his shoes and stood up and sighed softly.
"May be well" murmured Jack softly.
Jack came down the stairs one by one and saw his father waiting for him in the car on the porch.
"Come on!"
Jack nodded and closed the door to his house and walked towards the car.
Before Jack got into the car, a familiar voice called out to him.
"Jack!"
Jack turned his head and found a God approaching him.
The god smiled broadly when he was in front of Jack and then his gaze turned to Ricard who was in the car.
"For om" said the friendly God.
Ricard nodded, "Morning"
The god turned his eyes to Jack and then turned to Ricard again. "Eh? Uh! Pardon me! Sorry brother! I think brother is Jack's father" God said in a panic.
Jack raised his eyebrows and Ricard and Jack and Ricard laughed at the same time.
"He is my papa" Jack explained as he patted God on the shoulder.
The god was absent-minded for a moment. "But... You're... Looks age? Your faces too... Same"
Ricard shook his head slowly and then sounded the horn of his car which made God and Jack reflex turn his head.
"What's your school up?" Ricard asked the God who was pointing at him.
"I... Um?"
Ricard nodded.
"I want to ride the angkot om" replied the Lord.
"Then go in" Ricard ordered.
"Eh? Where's om going?" Ask the confused God.
Ricard was wasting his tired breath, "Car, you and Jack one school"
"Seriously pa?" Jack asked a little pleased.
Because Jack still wears the uniform he had from his past school, Jack does not know how the color of his uniform.
Ricard nodded, "Yes, papa is serious"
Jack smiled so widely and looked at the god. "Let's go"
"Well, thank you, om!"
God and Jack immediately entered the car that Ricard had turned on earlier.
Ricard shook his head slowly at the behavior of the two teenage boys.
Ricard propelled his car while thinking how is Angga now?
Seeing Jack and the Gods makes Ricard remember Angga.
The journey they went through was so quiet. The road is crowded but smooth. There was no obstacle until Ricard stopped his car when he got to Jack's school.
Seeing the school made Ricard unable to hold back his smile.
This school has not changed at all, Ricard thought.
Indeed, the school that Jack entered was Ricard's past school.
The school that became the place where he knew Angga and the school that became the place where he graduated.
Ricard misses this school.
"Pa, I'm leaving first huh" Jack smeared Ricard's hand before he got out of the car.
"Yes"
"Om thank you, for the ride" said Dewa while yapping Ricard's hand after Jack finished yapping Ricard.
Ricard chuckled, "Tomorrow to come to the house om, then leave with Jack"
"Om really?!" Ask the happy God.
"Yes, but there are conditions" Ricard said.
"What is om?"
"Jagain Jack is here. Don't let Jack fight" Ricard's message.
"Eh? Jack likes to fight?" God asked then looked at the awkwardly smiling Jack.
"Yes, that's it. Back in Paris Jack always came home with a face that was never smooth" Ricard chuckled.
Jack and Ricard laughed in the car.
"Yaudah pa, pick it up later" said Jack.
"What time?"
"Jam two om" answered the Lord.
"Okay, you'll wait here"
Jack nodded before exiting the car along with the Gods.
"That's it!"
Jack and the Gods waved their hands as Ricard's car walked over. Ricard honked his horn to answer.
"Is she ready for school?" Ask the God with a big smile.
Jack returned the smile while nodding.
"Yuk"
Jack turned around but as he did not look around first, he bumped into a girl.
The book that the girl had brought down made the girl have to crouch down to pick up her book.
"sorry"
After saying that, Jack also crouched down and helped pick up the falling book.
"I'm sorry too" the girl said in a soft voice.
Jack was silent for a moment after hearing the voice then looked at the girl who was also staring at him.
Jack's heart was beating rapidly. Jack was drowning in the girl's black eyes.
Jack regained his senses after the God patted his shoulder while asking,
"Are you okay?"
Jack looked at the God then shook his head, "I'm fine"
Jack turned his eyes to the girl before giving the book he picked up, "Once again sorry"
Jack stood up then pulled the hand of the God and left the girl alone.
"Hey, what's your name?" Shouted the girl who was standing.
The school field was quiet because it was still too early, so the girl's screams were not heard by anyone but Jack and the Gods who were there.
Jack glanced at the girl at a glance, "Are you asking me?" Jack asked without looking.
"Yes"
Jack took a deep breath, "Why should I tell you my name?"
Jack did not dare to look the girl in the eye for fear of her heart beating faster than usual.
"It's so arrogant" exclaimed the girl annoyed.
The god gawked for a moment because the girl had an unusual identity. It could be bad until Jack gets caught close to the girl.
"Jack" Jack replied briefly then continued his halted steps while dragging the God who was still gawking.
The girl smiled so widely, "Remember me, my name is Claudia!"
Jack ignored the grumbling Claudia.
"Jack," the God was aware of his shock after being quite far away from Claudia.
"What?"
"You can't get close to Claudia!" The gods reminded.
"I don't want to get close to him"
"Why?"
"Because my heart beats faster when it's nearby. Especially looking into his eyes" plain Jack explained.
The god patted his eel upon hearing that, "Jack you ever dated?"
"No way"
"Why?"
"If dating means having to protect her boyfriend, right?" Jack asked with raised eyebrows.
"Should be! If we love someone, whatever the circumstances, we will always think of the person we love" explained God and then stop for a moment.
The god took a deep breath before continuing, "Then think of his happiness or his safety"
"You said as if you were very experienced" Jack said.
The gods only show their cry.
"I don't want to date because I have to protect my dad. I don't want to lose the only parent I have"
