Ch.54 Arrival of Lavina

Since learning about Nanda's pregnancy news, Gathan became overprotective of his wife. But this news is still kept secret from his family. Like this morning he woke up early and he immediately contacted Erwin to buy them breakfast because there was nothing in the refrigerator. He hadn't visited his apartment in a long time, so he didn't keep food.

Nanda blinked his eyes as sunlight shot through the gaps of Gathan's curtains and glass windows. Instantly he gasped when he realized that it was noon. In the lyrics on the side of the bed where Gathan lay last night, it turns out he's gone. Even the bed sheet was cold, meaning her husband had been awake for a long time. Nanda felt guilty for waking up and making her husband wake up first.

Nanda got out of bed and straightened his hair with his fingers. Then he grabbed a hair tie and tied the origin of his hair. He then rushed out of the room to look for Gathan. She was worried that her husband would leave for work without having breakfast.

"Good morning, babe." said Gathan as he watched his wife enter the kitchen area.

Nanda widened his eyes when he saw Gathan preparing breakfast for them.

Gathan smiled awkwardly as he looked at Nanda who was surprised by the action. Well, naturally Nanda was surprised because this was the first time he prepared breakfast for his wife. Even the first time in his life. If he is usually served, then this time he is actually a person who serves.

Nanda smiled amusedly when she saw the way the husband was presented. Looks neat because Gathan won his man neat, meticulous, and so careful.

"This is what you bought?" nanda asked while putting slices of cucumber and sambal into Gathan's plate containing rice.

"When did you buy it? Why don't you wake up and cook?" asked Nanda while drinking the water that Gathan had prepared beforehand.

"Mas didn't come out on his own, but ask Erwin for help. After all, I can't wait to see you look like you're really good. You must be so tired, baby. Sorry, my dear, you have to walk. Where else is pregnant. Lucky you are not papa, how if something happens, it will be very regretful" said Gathan while holding tightly Nanda's hand and peeling it.

"Yes, the important thing is that I'm not papa. Don't worry so much like that. Let's continue eating again. I'm going to the office today, right?"

Gathan nodded then continued eating. When the meal was almost finished, Gathan's phone rang several times to make Gathan hasten his breakfast and then check the incoming call that turned out from Lavina and. Freya.

The ringing of his phone rang again, when he saw it was from Freya. Gathan took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. Then he presses the green button on his phone screen.

"Hello, Fre, what's up?" tanya Gathan tries to stay patient and be casual with Freya. He does not want Freya to be suspicious to make him suspect himself.

"Where are you, mas?" ask Freya to worry. Since he left last night, Gathan hasn't been back in the office to worry him

"I slept last night in the office, Fre. What's calling me early in the morning like gini." lied Gathan.

"And I'm just worried about you, Mom. There is a mother at home. Mama nanyain you, I'm confused what to answer." said Freya make Gathan rubbed in her hair frustrated.

"You can hold my mom at home, I'll be home soon. You don't say anything. Let me be clear on everything." said Gathan before closing his call.

Lavina sat up and ruffled her waist at the sight of Gathan's arrival. You Gathan immediately approached his mother and kissed the back of her hand but Lavina instead brushed it off.

"Where is Nanda, Gathan? You want him?" hiss Lavina was angry when she found out that her beloved daughter-in-law did not live in this house anymore.

"He .. he ... "

"He where? Answer me!" lavina snapped with eyes gleaming with emotion.

Gathan let out a heavy sigh and passed to his room and returned with a few photographs and handed them to Lavina. Lavina received the photo harshly and watched it one by one. Lavina smiled cynically then tore it apart and scattered it into the air until it splattered on the floor.

"What do you mean give me those photos? Are you accusing him of cheating? That easy you believe?" snarled Lavina wrathful. "Where is my son-in-law now?" again with Lavina.

"Sorry ma, Gathan has kicked him out."

Freya was wide-eyed when she saw Lavina landing her palm on Gathan's cheek.

"Basic stupid! Why are you so stupid, huh? Didn't you know that the photo was deliberately taken to make a misunderstanding between you. There are people who want to destroy your household. 'What is the girl's advantage over me so you can accept her, but not me?' freya's murmured was full of confusion.

While in the office, Gathan is getting cold with Tio. Tio could certainly feel the difference in Gathan's aura that even made his book stand on its back. Gathan's gaze was also increasingly sharp as it implied pent-up anger at him.
