Those who are called smart, are those who do not see what does not need to be seen.

Not hearing what should not be heard.

And, not speaking without knowing the truth.

Rain Lanterns, Rain lanterns,

December 20th, 2018

A second after seeing a new display in the school mading, Jean turned her eyes to the door beside the mading that slowly opened along with a student with a dark blue alma mater who came out from there.

Unwilling to know, the girl with the colored rope bracelet in line with the typical OSIS alma mater looked back at the mading in front of her.

"Just installed huh?"

Jean sniffed his shoulders at the mark of ignorance.

While the young man who had suddenly been standing beside him was just silently staring strangely.

"Lo's a new student?"

Jean shook her head. "Old."

"Huh?"

Jean glances. "Gue is not a new student. I'm an old student," he said.

The young man beside him rounded his mouth, uttering 'oh' without a sound.

Feeling no need, Jean began to step away from the mading with the young man she did not know.

"Gee!"

Not yet the two tiles that Jean clapped, the student called back. Even a slight exclaim, made Jean turn her head after a loud enough peck.

"What?" jane Spray.

The sound of the youth's clumsiness was clearly heard in the already deserted first-floor corridor, considering that the school's return hour had already passed about half an hour ago. "My name is Krishna Majendra, and lo?"

Without answering, the girl turned around.

However, his steps stopped at the edge of the field opposite the main gate. Jean turned around, looking at Krishna who was still not moving, staring back a few meters away.

"My name is Jean. Salken yes."

•••••

This morning, it rained. Jean doesn't really hate the rain. I don't like the rain either. You could say, just go for it.

Then what's the problem?

The problem is, how did Jean pass through a field as big as a ball field without a drop of water wetting his uniform? While the girl class was right across there and there was no detour.

Finally, the girl's eyes were twisted.

"Jean?"

"Oh elo." Jean turned around again, staring at the field before her. "Who is it?"

Krishna frowned at a glance.

"Lo forgot don't remember?"

"What's the difference between bego?" Jean could feel someone standing next to her. Who else if not the young man with the alma mater typical of OSIS Delta International High School.

"Lo really forgot about me?" krisna asked half in disbelief. "Which met yesterday in front of the mading, still do not remember?"

Jean put up a mimic like thinking, then flicked her finger as if remembering. "Lo use the alma mater, right yesterday?"

Krishna nodded.

"But I forget whose name you are," he continued kalem.

The young man sighed, but chose to repeat their introduction more formally. With one hand extended, Krishna mentioned his name.

"Gue, Krishna Majendra. Deputy Chairman of OSIS Delta International High School, and you?"

"Jean."

"Let's just Jean's name?"

Jean nodded, and his name was no more.

"Jean doang really?"

Jean clucking. "Emang why? Don't like it?" judes.

"It's just the hell." Krisna stood relaxed, along with staring at the field accompanied by moderate rain.

"Not to class?"

"Ogah. Raining." Jean answered briefly.

Krisna uttered 'oh' without a sound, then took off her old blue alma mater jacket and raised her head-high.

"You coming? My class is across, too" he said.

Jean seemed to weigh, but had not yet thought, Krishna had already pulled his shoulder. The two teenagers are now under the same alma mater.

Again, Jean did not have time to protest, the young man had walked so inevitably Jean followed if he did not want cold rain to touch his skin.

Arriving in the middle of the field, Krishna said.

"Rain is the true form of sadness. Some people hate it. Some like it. Nothing has changed, however, that the rain will still fall even if someone holds it."
