Indigo Story: Half the Way

This morning I prepared well, though my hand was still on the bandage. Soon I boarded the public transport and left for school early in the morning.

I knew about Hendra's remark on a warning and really this time I wouldn't follow him. Let it all happen, I wish I could be a normal girl.

And sure enough to get to class there were no distractions, I don't know what happened. But they didn't seem to want to appear before me today, whether it was good news or not, which Hendra obviously didn't show himself either.

The first and second lessons went perfectly, as the break bell arrived. It seems like my classmates are starting to show a look of hate towards me.

Riris walked over to my chair. I looked at his face for a moment, then threw my face towards my food.

"I know what happened yesterday Anya" I choked on the food, immediately I took the water and sipped it slowly.

"What's..." Before Riris continued her words immediately I stood up and stared at her sharply. "Are you saying I'm a weird kid, just like they told me. If I may want to be alone now, why don't you play with the others outside. And leave me alone in this class" I shouted to Riris.

Somehow I was able to snap at her, maybe Riris' feeling was very sad after I snapped at her. Riris stood up and walked out of the classroom slowly, she kept her head down then stopped in front of the door.

He looked at me, "you know I don't want to say that. I just want to be a good friend to you" he said, leaving me stiff.

I saw my food box there were still 2 sandwiches left. I thought for a moment, maybe I was too rude to him. I picked up my food box and ran out, but my steps came to a halt as a male figure just appeared before me.

"Moor!" Pleased speech. Hendra stood up with a faint smile. "Hendra why don't you reappear in front of me?" I wonder.

"I thought you were angry with me?" Hendra's face turned sad. It was as if he felt guilty when he saw my hand on the bandage.

"Sorry" he said briefly. I smiled a little and raised my hand giving a hug-like gesture. Hendra who saw me, immediately made the same move as me.

We did hug but didn't touch each other. "Hey some of your friends see you, you're not ashamed" I turned to the window, I was indeed seen by some classmates.

"No I don't care, but may I go. I have to apologize to someone, you don't make trouble okay" Hendra just nodded and disappeared.

I got out of class, my classmate looked at me. "Well you're beautiful, smart, but why are you weird" many of my friends said.

I didn't seem to care about walking slowly towards Riris who was sitting on the school garden chair.

Now in front of me Riris was sitting in the opposite direction, I was afraid to say it. But this has to be done, though,

"Riris" I said as she patted him on the shoulder, she turned her head slowly and looked at me behind her.

"What are you going to do to me, instead of wanting to be alone" he said, narrowing my eyes. It really made me a little upset, but I was wrong too.

"It's a sandwich, there's still two you can take all of them" I said briefly. Riris looked at my lunchbox, then she looked at me intently.

"You sure?" Ask him to me.

"Yes ris" I said briefly. He took my food box and took a sandwich. Because I felt like I was done, so I walked away. But my steps stopped when I felt my hand held by someone.

"Hey where are you going, accompany me" I saw Riris holding my hand, and she looked pushy.

I was sitting next to Riris, she was eating the sandwich I made. After he finished one sandwich, he returned my food box with a sandwich left.

"Thank you" he said suddenly. I smiled at Riris, glad to have a familiar friend.

"Eh Anya you know, there are new students. The handsome guy, smart again. He was just entered has been chosen as a basketball player. Listen to his old school, he included basketball players. Yes understand that he entered basketball players, many girls who targeted him loh. But it's a pity that he's so cute, cold and doesn't care the same around him" I laughed as Riris made a sullen face.

He seemed very interested in the new student, but not to me. Men can only leave, it is difficult to find a good man like Dion.

The sound of the school bell rang out, it was time for us to enter the classroom. Glad I finally made a new friend, Riris also looks really good. Maybe we will be friends forever, hopefully he can survive with me who has been stamped as a strange child in the IPS class.

After school as usual I wait for public transportation, Riris has been home since. I'm here alone, at the school gate that's wide open.

A black car stopped in front of the school gate, I saw who was inside.

"If you don't come home" I'm surprised not to play. "Adit!?".

My class president named Adit is indeed the son of a rich man, his father is the owner of the largest mall in the city.

"Not yet, this is still waiting for angkot" I said. Adit got out of his car, he walked towards me. "Dit, aren't you home yet?" My toot.

Adit gave a small smile, "so I've come home but come back here again, because my workbook forgot in class".

Duty book?. I was silent and then somehow hit by a rock, I remembered something.

"Oh my goodness my workbook is also in class" while patting my eel. I am a forgetful basic.

Why the book can forget, fortunately Adit also forgot the book so someone remembered it. If not I can not do the task that has just been loved by Mr. Yahya.

"Yes, we're together" I was silent for a while, I'm not good with Adit. But rather than being alone, Hendra also said he could not go to school in the afternoon.

"Already we can talk about that later, I want us to hurry to class and pick up the book" I walked first leaving Adit alone on the stairs.

There was no conversation from us to the class. We quickly picked up our books at each other's desks.

We rushed out of class and down the stairs, until we were on the 2nd floor. A voice sounded so loud, like tables falling down one by one.

Adit looked around, I also helped him see what was here. We are not alone, there is someone.

A whisper suddenly sounded in my earlobe.

The word was heard until a female scream sounded in the hallway. Adit stared at what was at the end of the hallway, I also took a look.

Both my eyes now saw a female figure pushing a table. "We have to run!!" Adit grabbed my hand and pulled it. We ran quickly but the figure kept following until the 1st floor.

I ran quickly, suddenly my legs slipped. I fell, and everything looked dark.

I saw a grown man and he looked very sad. He brought a large plastic bag and put it on a table. It smells like a rotting corpse.

Suddenly a voice called my name. And now everything looks so bright, a face is visible to me.

"Addit!!!" Soon I wake up. Means from earlier I slept on his lap, "calm us in my car really" he said calmly.

I rubbed my face rough. "Dit what happened?" My toot.

"So you slipped and fell unconscious, so I carried you to the car. Unfortunately you are still unconscious, so I told the driver to buy some drinking water" I fell silent.

Adit clasped my hand, but soon I was patis. "Thank you but right now I have to go home" I said.

I immediately opened the car door, when I came down I fell down. My legs hurt, making me unable to stand or walk.

Adit who saw me fall straight helped me, and helped me get back in the car. "Why I'll take you, please accept this help".

Adit looked pushy, I had to obey him anyway I couldn't walk. Looks like my leg is sprained, the driver came with 2 pieces of mineral water.

Adit told his driver to run us to my home address. Adit gave me water, I accepted it doubtfully.

"Our master is almost there" said the driver, Adit nodded and turned to me again. I feel bad when I see it, it makes me stun.

The car stopped in my yard, Adit immediately came out and opened the door of his car for me.

"That you don't have to do this, I don't feel good" I said. Adit shook his head, he helped me to walk towards the house.

I was surprised when my house was unlocked, "hims you forgot the house key" asked Adit.

I shook my head, "no".

"His?" A voice sounded from behind. My reflexes immediately face back.

"Om Dion?" My speech. Om Dion stared at Adit sharply, as if he was checking something from Adit.

"Adit's late maybe you should go home, besides there's my om. Thank you for helping me" I said briefly. Adit smiled and nodded.

He helped me sit on the porch slowly, then said goodbye to Dion. He rushed up the car, I saw the car going in the opposite direction.

"Where are you going, when your aunt is worried" Om Dion looks sad, he worries about me a lot.

"Iya Om sorry, just wanted to take this book, uh even slipped. So Anya's leg hurts, Adit deh's with Anya".

Om Dion rushed to help me get inside, inside there was aunt Vivin who just finished cooking.

When he saw me, he came straight to me. Aunty was really worried, she made me pamper all day.

Strange as it feels, I'm not interested in pampering like that. Since I prefer the independent thing, if I told aunt and Om that I could alone for sure they would say.

This morning I walked slowly to class, it was very difficult because my class was on the 3rd floor.

When I opened the door, I was surprised who was inside.

"YOU!!!" I shouted, without saying anything. He immediately smothered my mouth with his hand.

He pulled me down, I tried to escape. But he really locked my hand.

"Eh Lo can be silent, later heard again" I opened my eyes wide in disbelief of what he said.

He was a thief, so he went into hiding. But how he wears a school uniform, I'm confused.

What is clear is that I need to be able to escape and then scream. I bit his hand so he screamed in pain.

The female disciples suddenly entered, they immediately chased after the man.

"I won't spare you" he said, standing up and running quickly away from the girls. His movements were very nimble, I sneered as if I did not feel burdened.

I stood up and walked slowly to the table. The sound of laughter sounded slowly. I smiled at him, "Hendra you're here" I said little.

And it is true what I thought, Hendra appeared with a small smile, as usual he appeared from the board.

"Yes I'm here, it's funny" he said. I laughed when he laughed. Suddenly someone patted me on the back.

I turned, "Riris". He smiled at me, "talking to him again" he said.

"If I could see it too" he added. I saw Hendra, he seemed to shake his head in disagreement.

Hendra approached me, whispering something. "If he sees me, it's a sign he'll die" I'm shocked by what I hear.

I looked at Riris. "Maybe it's better, you don't see it" I said. Riris raised her eyebrows, she started to look pouted.

"Hey if Hendra is still here, can he do something that makes me believe he exists?" I was silent, unable to answer.

That's what Hendra said, what I can do. "Ris, if that's me I can't help you. Because it's beyond my ability" Riris put her head to sleep.

"Oh well" he answered briefly. We both stayed in class. Silence ensued, I was busy reading my mother's Diary, while Riris kept silent looking at the blackboard in front.

"Would you feel weird not being on that blackboard?" Timpal Riris's. I turned my head and saw what Riris was staring at.

After a long time I looked at our class whiteboard, I felt something. I quickly walked forward, as if something was calling out to me.

The closer I got, the smell got stinging. Riris followed from behind, she felt no response to anything.

"Ris you don't feel a bad smell" When I asked Riris and sure enough she didn't feel this smell. That means this includes my abilities.

I ventured to touch the blackboard, and it was all dark. I saw someone standing with a spade covered in blood.

"Hey you've done it" the man spoke to someone through his cell phone. And leave immediately. I saw what was behind the blackboard, but my intention was lost when I felt that part of my head hurt.

A bright light came back. I looked around, like I was back in my time.

I still feel my head hurt. "Well, you don't papa, do you?" I was shocked to see who was in front of me.

"Adit" said I. I saw Riris who kept holding me, her face looking annoyed. His eyes continued to look at the person in front.

"Eh you guys that's why, love to think about that strange child" said someone. I saw who was in front of Riris and Adit.

'Erin' he's here. I saw Erin's hand holding her bottle, what she was making my head hurt.

"You're wrong, why hit Anya's head with it try" said Riris. "Lo knew that Anya was helping, when Lo was in a trance" Timpal Adit.

"What help, he made me possessed. She's the curse carrier, she's the one who made this class's waiter angry" I gawked at her hearing.

"You can stop arguing, my head hurts. Adit and Riris thank you, for Erin sorry I was wrong" I let out a long sigh. Actually my head hurts more not because there are injuries but hearing a long debate like the OSIS meeting at school.

I walked towards my chair, my classmate saw me walking leisurely towards the seat followed by Adit and Riris. Passing Erin who was staring at us.

Suddenly Hendra was in front of Erin just like that, his gaze was so angry. It was like pushing Erin. I quickly stood up and pulled Erin's hand, causing both of us to fall.

Because of my hasty actions, not only my classmates, but our teachers saw it too.

"Erin, and Anya you guys are coming to BK's room at the moment" the man said firmly from the front door. I stood up slowly following Erin who kept looking at me.

Arriving at BK's room, we were both stared at by Desi's mother. He is a BK teacher who is very attentive to his students, and is known very well.

"Why did you do that Anya" I fell silent staring at Mother Desi. "Just please answer mom's question" he said again.

"If I tell you the truth what you're going to believe" I said slowly. Desi's mother just nodded, I boldly said 4 words.

"I can see ghosts" Desi's mother silenced. He could not say anything, while Erin was seen holding back a laugh.

"You have a deh, where there are ghosts in broad daylight like gini" said Erin while laughing.

I looked down, I knew they wouldn't believe it. A voice rang out, I felt like I had heard that voice.

"Mother Desi, I want to ask the IPA class student report" I turned my head. See who's talking.

"Aunty Maya?" My speech. Aunt Maya turned to me, her eyes looking like she wanted to cry quickly she hugged me tightly.

"Well you go to school here" I gave a small nod. Erin opened her mouth wide, Mother Desi stood up from her seat as she heard the words from Aunt Maya.

"Sorry Mom Maya, do you know Anya?" Ask Desi's Mom. We stopped the hug, Aunt Maya looked happier when she saw me.

"Look, Anya is the son of my best friend. He and his family were in a huge accident. I was in another city, so I couldn't see them quickly. But at the end of the day, when I can go to my best friend's house. According to the neighbors her parents Anya is dead, but Anya and her brother disappeared somewhere. I didn't expect that I was working where Anya went to school." Aunt Maya smiles looking at me, hearing the story of Aunt Maya, Desi's mother immediately smiled and then gave a small nod.

Erin looks displeased, instead I was very happy when I saw Aunt Maya here.

We were both finished from BK's room when the break bell rang, Aunt Maya invited me to go to the cafeteria together. He thinks there's something to talk about, I'm just following him.

When I got to the cafeteria, now I was more worried. Since the cafeteria I visited was the last time I saw the figure, it doesn't mean that I'm getting into a dangerous zone.
