#Fix 2: The Club
- Brian's Point of View
...
Somewhere, in one of the darkest districts in the entire country, a large bar stood firmly on the burial ground of the post-war victims.
The bar was filled with all sorts of dark creatures who went there for fun, it's not strange that you often see Demon, Devil, Witch and wandering spirits go by and fill every corner of the Bar. They laugh, party, get drunk on blood, gamble, play dirty games, and anything that pleases them. Not only that, this bar has also become a place for various dark psychic groups to work as a subordinate of the owner of the Bar, namely Lord Samael. The Fallen Angel.
Once upon a time, there were 7 Fallen Angels who were banished to the Land of Middle, a place in the middle of nowhere that was located in the middle of the world of life, and the world of death. They were banished there because they were too deep in the knowledge of Humans so gradually, they were curious to learn the pattern of Human life, they wanted to learn, their empty souls slowly turn into feelings and want to continue to feel worldly pleasures. They lose their identity as Angels, then from their hearts arise one by one passions that make them no longer worthy of the title as Angels.
For 1000 years they were imprisoned in the Land of Middle, instead of realizing their mistake, and returning to their destiny, Samael and his group were even more interested in living on earth, and live as the strongest race among other creatures.
10 years ago they were free, then built this Bar, also founded an organization called The Fallen, and of the 7 Angels, only 5 are still interested in following the ideology of Samael.
My name is Brian Walker, an Indigo, the host of a Devil named Azazel. 10 years ago, my family was slaughtered by a rampaging Devil. When Azazel first came down to earth, all he knew was that this place had to be destroyed immediately because of its natural nature that could not see any hint of human happiness. My family intervened to face Azazel, but they were all unable to withstand a force greater than anything in the human world. Later then... When the atmosphere was chaotic, Lord Samael came, and easily tamed the raging Azazel.
True, with just one touch, Azazel immediately calmed down like a dog who had just met his master.
From the massacre, I was also so badly injured that one day my heart stopped beating again.
Everything was pitch black, everything I saw was not real. As if... I was in an endless illusion.
Until one day, after several days of death, I came back to life because the King of the spirit world failed to take my spirit. Azazel pulled my spirit back into his body until I finally saw the light again.
At that moment, I was very confused.
About what I feel. I hated Azazel for taking everything from me, but on the other hand, he brought me back to life, and chose to stay inside me with me as the full holder of control over all his demonic-powers.
Due to the loss of my family, I was raised to be Lord Samael's men along with several other psychic children who lost their families.
Up to now...
I'm still confused.
"What are you thinking, Brian?" Cassandra asked, one of the members of The Fallen, who was also the right-hand man of Lord Samael.
"Nothing." I said flat.
"Brian, there's obviously something you're upset about, isn't there?"
"Cassandra, I don't have a purpose. What's the reason I'm alive?" My answer was sharp, my eyes looking straight at Cassandra.
But Cassandra just smiled showing her canines.
"You know? You are like a sailor sailing without a map, you are adrift in the great sea with your great boat. You're confused, really confused why you can sail, when the waves, and the storm come, you can just shut up, and wonder, why you're there, isn't it?"
"Curtain!"
I held my head with both hands.
Cassandra laughed out loud.
"Haha... Haha... How come there's an Indigo who's swayed his life like you, anyway? I was confused to see your attitude. Even though you have incredible powers, you can do anything, kill anyone, you're perfect Brian! Hey, realize!"
"I'm not like that." I said next, then after finishing my drink, I immediately left Cassandra.
"free." Cassandra suddenly.
"What is Free?" My head turned back towards him.
"You want to live free, right? No guilt to your family being slaughtered by that disgusting creature in your body." Look at Cassandra again.
"Fuck, where could it be."
"There's a new Hollow that was born not too long ago."
"Hollow you said?!" I was shocked, then my body automatically turned back to face Cassandra again.
"If you want freedom, bring the Hollow here, and we'll do the process of transferring Azazel to his body. Then... You're free from Azazel's shackles, and you can get out of this fun place. You can live your life like a normal human being."
I just stared for a few seconds.
"Choose which path you will pursue. You want to be free of guilt, or endure with overwhelming force. I have nothing to lose, The Fallen has nothing to lose, and so has Azazel. Good thing it's on you."
L'm... Just need to carry that Hollow without having to kill it, right?
Sh-shit.
"Well, I'll take this mission."
Cassandra's face turned into a look of admiration.
"Gee... Whoa... Whoa... But don't be happy, if you want to take the Hollow, you have to defeat the other Indigos guarding it."
My face became more serious.
"You mean he guarded the first Indigo? The Lucifer?"
"It's not Lucifer you should be afraid of, we're lucky, because Lucifer's host is just a loser who never fights at all. He even used his gift as a ghost consultant, ridiculous as hell. So then... Yes, all you have to watch out for is his grandfather, Yordis the Demon hunter. He was already in the form of a spirit, but his spiritual power was still as great as it was when he was alive first. Dad, his mom's a little troublesome too, so you just slaughtered them so they're done." Cassandra Clear.
"I can handle it." I said firm.
"No, no. You need a team to take that Hollow. Going there alone is suicide, they are not very strong, but their self-defense is very difficult to penetrate."
"Then I need Kellin, and Nero."
"Deal."
...***...
Like I said before, there are psychic children from other families who live here, including Kellin, and the Nero brothers. They are twins from the Haze family who were also slaughtered by Azazel, strangely they are also my partners when hunting Devils. Why don't they hate me for Azazel? that's because Hazel's family is a black psychic family who actually lives dependent on the power of the Devil. Or rather, the Haze family made a contract with the Devil in order to gain longevity. They are a family that lives a long life from time to time. It can be said that the Haze clan is the oldest among other psychic families.
The reason Kellin's parents, and Nero, sacrificed themselves at Azazel's hands was only as proof that they were devoted to the devil. And now... Kellin, and Nero serve me as the master of Azazel's power. That's why they want to be close to me.
So, getting them both on this mission is not a difficult thing. Without further ado, Kellin, and Nero instantly prepared. We will go and take the Hollow out of the hands of the Jordis family.
"As you know, our enemy is also a Devil named Lucifer. Isn't your family devoted to a powerful demon like him?" I asked Kellin, and Nero was just staring at each other.
"Well... It is true that Lucifer is the strongest, but his container is not. It's different with you, Brian. Azazel is very strong, and so are you who are able to conquer his power." Answer Kellin.
Nero moved out of his chair, then he stroked both of my cheeks.
"We're willing to die for you, and Azazel, Brian."
...***...
A very contrasting atmosphere occurred on a skyscraper roof.
Samael looked at the sky of the city that was rumbling, lightning struck each other before him. Shortly after, his phone rang.
Samael lifted it up, "what's up?"
"Just because you're a Fallen Angel doesn't mean you can pick up the phone as you please in front of the lightning. You want to be grabbed?" Cassandra said with her teardrop.
Samael smiled, "it must be amused."
"You're this. By the way Brian is leaving tomorrow with the Haze family. Hows it? what am I doing right?"
"I think it's right. Nice work, Cassandra."
