#Arc 1: Nightmare

...

December, 02-2014.

I know that everything should be explained logically, including the knowledge of ghosts, and other spiritual things. I realized, in fact, that it would be considered very strange, and abnormal, especially in the eyes of teenagers. So I try to be ordinary, not stand out in anything, always alone, never socialize. But the thing is, even if I never invite anyone to talk here, but somehow they always make me a subject in class, even though I do nothing. Is there something wrong with being alone?

I mean, why the hell are they kinda...

"Dam!"

I looked back.

"You're Rey, right?"

"Ah, right. What is there need?"

"Huh?! Did you forget that today is our group presentation?"

"League?"

"MAMMALIAN REPRODUCTIVE OBSERVER GROUP."

"Repso, uh... A reproduction?"

Waita minute...

"WOH SHIT, YEAH!"

"Good, did you forget your own group assignment? Follow me!"

...***...

Damn, even though I've been working hard to avoid coming today. But I suddenly forgot my impromptu pain plan to avoid making the presentation.

But, by the way I haven't said hello.

Hello everyone, how are you? Hehe...

Let's just say you're reading me in a new version, okay?

To those who don't understand what I'm saying, I'm sorry. But for the cool guys out there who understand what I'm talking about, yeah, I miss you too.

Joshua, the boy who I think is named so because it seems obvious that this little embroidery on his bag is pulling my hand strong because the class is about to start inside...

3... 2... 1...

"Look, it's Josh!"

Shouted one of the students who was peering at us from outside the window.

"Thank God, our group finally had a presentation." Said my group leader whose name was either Anna, Annie, or Nina. I didn't memorize all the names of the kids in my class because I wasn't familiar at all.

Thatvs right...

Meeting just one species is dizzy, especially if you live together with other species that used to be this species. Understand I mean?

My eyes looked to the left, then a female ghost flew next to me.

"Morning, Rey."

I just nodded, inwardly saying. "For Shinta too."

Shinta smiled, "get ready, your teacher will be here in 15 seconds."

"OK on good."

...

When I was in my chair, suddenly there were three people whose faces were familiar but I still did not memorize their names. They surrounded me like a thief, then a girl in glasses and a ponytail gave me a piece of paper with this picture, it was in front of me.

"You're going to go forward for the presentation. Memorize this script, our group will be called third, so we hope not to misread it!"

"Hoo wait, what the hell is this? Why should I go forward?" I refused, of course, as if they were pranking me.

"Well, it's hard for me to believe, wo, this damn kid really." The glasses girl then kicked my desk.

BRAAAK!!!

"Patience, Mia. Relax, remember your tensi." Said one of the other girls.

Then Josh looked at me sharply.

"Rey, I have stage fright. You'd better get ahead for the presentation, at least... GIVE A SMALL EFFORT TO YOUR OWN GROUP!!!"

"Friends calm yourselves."

Said another girl standing up from her chair, she looked at my group who was excited instead of playing.

"Sorry, class president. This child has really made no contribution at all to us. I've been typing this script, look at my panda-like eyes!" Complain Nia, uh I mean Mia.

Then the girl approached our group, then she picked up the script.

I looked at her fixated because I was like the first time I saw her, so introverted I didn't realize I had a class president as beautiful as this.

After picking up a highlighter, he tagged some effective words to memorize in our script. Then he returned the script, he smiled at me.

"The only thing I've ever seen, your script was actually very good the first time you showed it to me, only if it was shortened a little maybe the delivery intent would be more effective. It's a good thing Miss Miller was a little late today."

Josh wiped his sweaty forehead with an arm, phew~

"Let's be a savior! Thank you, my class leader!" Said moved.

"But Nabilah, you really didn't join any group?" Ask Mia.

"No, Ms. Miller asked me to be the judge who helped her make the assessment, good luck guys!" Nabilah answered, then he returned to his seat again.

I'm still riveted...

"Dam! Look where are you?!"

"It-it's not really." I said surprised.

"Well, now memorize the script." Mia ketus.

"Yes the group leader."

"The head of Sasha's group! I've been sticking this kid for a long time, too." Josh was still a little upset.

Huft...

I should have marked this date with a marker on my room calendar. Shit, what a shit.

My eyes turned to the seat next to me that was empty, the seat was deliberately not filling because I did not want Shinta's place to be occupied by the only person. If he's upset, one school can be mass possessed like my old school. Anyway screwed.

Shinta was still laughing at me because I was taken all out by my own work group.

"Baseless brash ghost." Mumbles.

"Eh, by the way we have Rey's new client. After school he wants to meet us in the empty building next to the old factory."

"Yes... Yep... Yeah..."

...***...

Long story short, come on as a representative of this group. After slide by slide played, and I also read out the script that I memorized then, finally my task was completed even though stammered, ah bodo time. The important thing is I've made a little contribution, hehehe...

Another lesson began, and then I, as usual, recorded all the ghost names I had consulted because I was not willing to help the same ghost a second time. My goal in doing this is to reduce the number of ghost populations from the earth. But no matter how hard I tried, still I could not return them all to the afterlife.

The number of deaths also increased every second, if those who died unnaturally became ghosts, somehow the spirit of the Earth could survive. Do you not realize that the longer the Earth also worsens its condition? Spiritually from the science taught by my ancestors, the ghost population is already 3 times more than the humans who live in it.

Simply put, if the Earth was the source of life, there must be spirits filling the Earth itself. In other words, we live and stand on a living Earth, while ghosts live on Earth-given spirits. That's why they can exist alongside us. If their population continues to grow, the spirit of the Earth will explode, then the Earth can no longer mediate life.

Every day at least I return 10 ghosts from around the area where I live, because the level of vengeful aura left here is very high. It could be that humans who live in my area also become irritable, easily emotional, and do not feel at home in this environment.

That's why I and my magical family consulted for ghosts, after which they were escorted back to the afterlife in order to be reincarnated again in the next life.

Shinta is my partner in work, she used to be a girl who lived a normal life, then died young because she was not strong enough to withstand the cancer she suffered. If she was human, Shinta should have been 250 years old. That meant that he had already been a ghost for 233 years, therefore, he was summoned senior by another ghost. Shinta can never return to the afterlife, because because she must continue to do good to humans, Shinta will be nominated as an Angel, but that is still a long time... He must be 500 years old, and do continually good in order to be reincarnated as an Angel.

Yep... That's a short story about the life I'm living right now. Even if you guys are weird plus it doesn't make sense. But for me this is perfectly normal.

Shinta's eyes continuously led to my class president whose name was... Ah who was it?

"What's up, Shin?"

"The child's aura could be golden, huh? I just saw something like this for the first time. Can't you see it?"

"I can only see ghosts, hehehe... But can't see a person's aura."

"Cih, even though in your left hand there is a Devil whose power is extraordinary. The body mass of the host can be this weak to the point of not being able to see the aura."

"No need to make my mental breakdance, huh."

"Well, I can't wait for the school hours to end. Our client has 15 ghosts today."

"Yes, you're right. Our schedule is very busy, I could stay up again tonight."

Eps. 1: Shinta, Rey's ghost partner is referred to as The Eternal Spirit because he has a contract with the psychic who becomes his master, Shinta serves as a guard, and an accomplice of Rey. Sometimes Shinta also takes care of all the schedules of Rey's work, records all the ghosts, arranges meetings, and becomes Rey's main assistant while consulting.
