35. a smile
"dok, is there nothing else to do?"
Intan was worried about Iko's state. While the doctor only shook his head. In the last half a month or so, the doctors tried hard to get Iko back to consciousness.but unfortunately, there was no result!
"we doctors have tried so hard, ma'am, we've tried to find the best solution, and this is all we can do."
Intan sat down. his body weak because until now there is no doctor who can cure it.
"alright, doc. thank you. I'm sorry."
the doctor nodded his head. Intan immediately exited the doctor's room and returned to the room where Iko was being treated.
"grandfather, please wake up!"
Intan shed her tears every time she prayed that Iko would come back to live with her.
tok tok.....
"get in!"
Intan wiped his tears and looked at who had come.
"aunty.."
"Albi, Ajib. here come in."
Albi and Ajib smiled.they were actually very sad when they saw Iko who was still lying limp on the hospital bed.
"aunty's eating?"
Intan shook his head.he had no appetite for food.His mind was only focused on Iko's recovery. Ajib gives food to Intan, while Albi replaces the withered flowers located beside Iko's bed.
"aunty eat first yeah!"
Intan shook his head. Although Intan refused, Ajib did not give up. he could not bear to see Intan who was so thin and seemed to lack sleep.
"aunty eat yes. Ajib please, this is for the sake of aunt's health
so that later if Iko wakes up, she's happy to see a healthy aunt."
Intan ahirnya gave up. he wanted to eat after being persuaded several times by Ajib. Albi and Ajib always come on Sundays when they are off school or come after school.
"ko, when did you realize it? you're not tired of sleeping on. I've seen you're tired!"
Albi looked into Iko's eyes that were still closed.Albi actually wanted to cry a lot, but he felt embarrassed to do so.

someone walked in from the door.
"Kara, what the hell lo!"
Kara smiled. she listened to Albi's words just now.
"you forgot me. come here and don't invite!"
Ajib sat next to Intan. he accompanied Intan to a meal on the sofa.
"aunty.."
Kara approached Intan and salted. After finishing eating, Intan again sat down beside Iko.
"grandfather, if you wake up, mama promise whatever you want mama will follow. You don't want mama to call grandpa? or don't you want to throw the trash out again? or don't you want to be hugged by your mom again?"
Intan was unable to hold back her tears. Intan hugged Iko tightly. Ajib, Albi and Kara just quietly do not know how. slowly there is a hand that holds the fine hair Intan. because of the shock, Intan immediately took off his embrace. he looked for the figure that held his head earlier.

Intan immediately looked at Iko. he smiled happily to see Iko who woke up. Albi, Ajib and Karapun smiled at the conscious Iko.
"what did my mom say just now?"
Iko smilingly looked at Intan, she could see the face of Intan who looked very tired.
"dad, are you awake? oh my god, thank you for still giving me a chance to stay with my son."
Intan hugged Iko. Albi, Aji, and Kara also take turns hugging.
"thank you guys for wanting my mom."
"just relax, bro.we are friends, right?"
Albi gestured to Ajib, but alas, Ajib turned his face away.

Iko smiled at her friends who still have the same nature.Kara just silently looked at Iko. because she felt kept on looking at her, Iko stared back at Kara.
"koeda?"

Kara did not understand Iko's words, she knitted her eyebrows together.

Kara just kept quiet, she felt that Iko did not recognize her anymore.

Kara gawked.he immediately hugged Iko. seeing that, Ajib and Albi cheered happily.
after the incident, Iko lived his life again as usual.even now better than his old life.he also told of his meeting with papa who had been missed. Intan believes her. And now Iko is close to the girl he loves from his first meeting in haruki.
