17. a vase

Koeda reached into his pocket, looking for something in it.

"this."

Koeda showed a match to Iko. Iko accepts.

"glow matches?"

Koeda nodded, sitting beside the candles.

"i used those matches to light all those candles, but none of them lit."

looks of sadness adorned the face of Koeda, he seemed to have given up on his efforts so far.

"where did you get this match?"

"from that locker over there, I've been looking for a lot of clues in this house, but I still can't find it."

Koeda pointed to one of the lockers located next to the entrance. Because curious, Iko walked up to the locker earlier.he tried to find something that might be used to light a candle or as a clue.

"there are a lot of matches?"

Koeda nodded.he came looking for anything that could be used as a clue.although often there, Koeda still did not give up to look for clues. Iko opened several cabinets, even a shelf where she checked sandalpun.

"why do you check the slippers too?"

Koeda, who saw Iko inspect all of Alex's sandals, was astonished.

Iko was about to hold the vase, but, just as her fingertips were attached to the vase, it suddenly spun slowly.

because of the shock, Iko reflexes retreated to the back. The wall that had been tight, now opened like a door. inside looks a little dark. Iko walked over slowly to make sure inside was safe or not.

"Koeda, come here!"

after making sure nothing looked dangerous, Iko called Koeda who was checking one of the rooms there.

Koeda was silent when he saw that there was a secret door there.

"according to you in Dalem what's in it?"

Koeda shook his head.

"this time I saw a door here."

"then we're in?"

Koeda nodded his head.The two of them entered slowly.The room was dark enough that they had trouble making sure of the surroundings.

"we have to look for the light, but which side is it?"

Iko felt every wall looking for a switch so the lights could turn on.

"i don't think we have lights here!"

Koeda saw a wooden rod on which was a ball made of glass, he took the wood and put the flower powder in between the glass balls. suddenly light came out of the glass ball.the light was bright like a lamp.

"it looks like Alex always uses this."

guess Koeda. seeing the bright light, Iko eyes sparkling in amazement.

"waw. cool, this time I saw something this magical."

"he?"

Koeda, who was used to the artificial lights, felt strange with Iko's expression as if he had just seen her for the first time.

"let's go in."

Iko nods her head.he walks behind Koeda, as Iko is actually scared. After the entrance, Iko and Koeda find nothing but a dark passageway. they kept going but like endless.

"gue tired. rest broke dong. or mending us home!"

"home? no. We've come this far, where maybe we just give up."

Iko nodded in understanding.he could feel the spirit of Koeda who had begun to fade, and this time Ikopun did not want to give up. because he was also curious about the end of the room and about the candles that could penetrate other places.
