Chapter 4: Wounds because of you
At the hospital .......
Finally Rindy woke up from her stupor after the tragedy of the collision occurred.Rindy was surprised to see her aunt who was asleep beside her.
"Eh.....auntie? Why am I here?"
"Rindy ... Have you realized? Thank goodness you're okay, right?"
His aunt's face looked delighted to see the rindy that had woken up from her stupor, and hugged Rindy tightly
"Eh....bibi ..what really happened?" Rindy was surprised by her aunt who arrived crying while hugging her tightly. Then from behind the door Rendy and her mother came to see her. Rendy's face looks worried but inversely proportional to his mother's face. His face looked angry and annoyed when he saw Rindy.
"Rindy!! Are you feeling better now?" Rendy's eyes seemed to want to cry when she saw Rindy's current condition.
"Yes Rendy I'm fine!!"
Suddenly his mother pulled Rendy's hand which was holding onto Rindy's shoulder at that time. He was kind of upset with Rindy and talked rudely to her.
"You must be the one who pushed Rendy to work? And so that you get the attention of the crowd you saved Rendy at that very moment right!!? Aye right!!!?" Said his mother with an annoyed tone mixed with anger that was clearly visible on his face
"I. It's not my fault..." In a slow and humble tone Rindy answered that.
"DON'T LIE!!! I KNOW YOU DID THAT, RIGHT!!?" his mother snapped and pointed to Rindy as a liar.
His aunt pulled his mother and took him to the hospital corridor and a little away from the rindy room so they wouldn't hear what they were talking about.But unbeknownst to them Rendy followed and hid behind the door of the rindy room.
"What did you say!!? That Rindy is your son why are you talking rudely to her!!?"
"Why indeed!!? Rindy's not my job anymore and open up my son. It's all yours now!!"
"What are you thinking right now!! Rindy always wanted to live with her mother and her brother. But why didn't his mother even assume that he was her son!!?"
"Okay now everything is yours now!!. Rindy I'm giving it back to you!!"
"Whatever it is I don't want to take the boy!! And also I'm not gonna pay this hospital bill!!"
Her aunt reached into the contents of her small bag and threw the proof of payment to their mother.
"It!! I paid for everything! Now Rindy is your responsibility again!!" Her aunt walked out of the hospital. From behind Rendy approached her mother and slowly pulled her mother's hand
"Mother...is Rindy really my twin sister?"
"So.you heard it yeah Rendy."
"So ...I'm not the only child of my mother? Why did you lie about that?"
"It's not like that Rendy. Mom just......wanted to make you believe that no one is equal and has the same face as you"
"I believe that. But as aunt said earlier..can Rindy stay with us? At home"
"But Rendy..."
"If Rindy can't stay with us, I'll also get out of the house and be with Rindy on."
"Yes you can take Rindy home but if there's a problem with Rindy I don't want to take responsibility!"
"Well, mom!!"
Rindy ends up living with Rendy and her mother. Although his mother did not want to let Rindy stay at home for as long as she did, Rindy still obeyed her mother. Until the age of 15 years they decided to go to schools far from their homes and chose to live in a boarding house in the Tangerang area there.
