I Select Another Door of Heaven
Nathan's Confession

Nathan's words were like a big rock hitting his chest. For a moment Micah was stunned to re-permeate every word Nathan said.

With a hunting breath, Micah stared intently at Nathan who was looking at him gently as usual.

"But why Brother? Isn't it when I'm sick that you promised you'd always be there for me?" Micah began to raise his tone, his tone,

"Always, it doesn't mean I'm going to marry you, Micah, you've been considered my own sister" Nathan explained, causing Micah to feel even more pain.

"No, brother, I can't believe it. I'm sure that you love me too, just as you love Mitha" Micah shook her head, not accepting Nathan's explanation.

"Me and Mitha were just the past it was a mistake. I don't want to make Mitha unsettled there, so I'll forget about her and pray that Allah will forgive us our sins." Nathan's voice sounded raucous, when remembering the woman from his past, he was always provoked to shed tears. Not because she still remembered or loved him, but her guilt grew even more intense when the shadow of the two of them who dissolved in the sea of sin until she was born Qiana flashed back in her mind.

"But I love you, sister, I don't want to lose you, I want to marry you" Micah said, tears streaming down his cheeks.

Nathan was confused how to respond, the shadow of Rianti waiting for him at home again flashed. While Falah had just listened to their debate while playing her phone. But his brain also thought what steps he should do to help his boss.

"Sorry, I can't repay your love Micah"

"But why Brother? Why?" micah's cry echoed, her voice echoing filling every corner of the room they were in right now.

"Because I'm married"

Jedderrr.

"What's? Don't mess around, brother!" it's just like not believing, though,

"Who is it Brother? Who's the woman who took my sister away from me?" in her tears Micah asked again, there was a sense of unbearability in Nathan's heart but this time he had to dare to take a stand, however the sustainability of his household should be a priority at this time.

"She's a woman I've known for a long time, even before I met you again. So don't tell me if he took me from you because I asked him to marry me, anyway he didn't snatch because I'm not yours. I loved him and loved him a long time ago and now we are legally husband and wife both in the eyes of religion and in the eyes of the law" Nathan said, in his heart there was relief one by one something that stuck in his heart all this time he could express.

Unlike Nathan who was relieved, Micah just got worse, he cried more and more so, Nathan even confused how to stop the action of the girl.

Nathan glanced at Falah, his eyes asking for a solution to the problem he was facing, but the assistant just shrugged his shoulders he did not know how to.

Finally Nathan chose to let Micah finish his cries without intending to get close to the girl. He also sat back in his great chair and continued to review the files that had been delayed.

Micah cried for a long time, after looking calm he stood up from his seat and approached Nathan.

"Sister, I don't accept. I'm disappointed and hurt as big brother and I'll report this to mom and dad. Brother just wait for what will happen next" Micah threatened, without waiting for Nathan's response he left the room where Nathan and Falah just looked at him away and exhaled them violently.

"Astaghfirullah" said Nathan Lirih, he restored his own frustrated hair.

While Falah smiled at the words spoken by his boss, in his heart he was happy since Nathan's marriage changed drastically. Wiseer in attitude, calmer and more religious. Rianti's existence beside him really gives positive vibes to Nathan's person and life.

Since Nathan married without realizing their business turnover was increasing, maybe this is what married people say brings sustenance, it is true for Nathan.

"Patience Boss" Falah said as he rubbed Nathan's shoulder.
