Bright morning sunlight, penetrating through the window slits of rooms that are usually not occupied. If the room is usually filled with silence and uninhabited, last night there were two people who slept together and shared a bed.
Serena slowly opens her eyes, rubbing repeatedly to get perfect vision before rising from her dream spot. His large, warm hands prevented him from moving, his tilted body confined by a tight hug.
“Joni..” murmured Serena.
He stared at the face that still closed his eyes, looking very calm and peaceful. Serena could not control her hand that wanted to explore the handsome curves of the man. The index finger moves down, starting from the forehead, thick eyebrows, closed eyes, and along the nose bone.
