I'm Not a High School Boy
Chapter 63: The End of the Being

A long way to get out of town. Away from the crowds, and surrounded only by shady trees. That's where Reina rests.

Finished with his therapy, Rey who from morning accompanied Gisel invited him to take a short break at the hospital cafe before they finally left together.

Reina's grave is out of town. In an empty land in a mountainous area, close to the lake and also the beautiful scenery around it. Therefore, it takes a long time to get there.

Gisel no longer asked the reason Rey suddenly wanted to visit Reina's grave. She thought, Rey might miss her late sister. Therefore, when Rey asks for it, Gisel agrees without asking much more.

With a bouquet of flowers in his hand, Rey continued walking up the ramp step by step. Gisel clasped Rey's hand all the way. Giving her strength, as she knew, Rey still harbors a lot of grief whenever she visits Reina's grave.

And from Rey's hand that covers her fingers, Gisel knows Rey still holds the same grief.

Gisel tidied up Reina's grave, while Rey stood in front of the tomb without saying anything. Gisel knew, Rey was currently talking to the beloved sister in her heart.

Gisel leaves Rey so that the man he loves can freely say everything he wants to say. He waited for Rey in a gazebo near the tomb while resting his feet.

"Is there a pain?" asked Rey suddenly after a long time Gisel sat there.

"It's okay. Just a little pain. Usually after therapy. You're done?," asked Gisel quickly turning Rey's question so she wouldn't focus on her legs. He was massaging his feet not realizing Rey was coming to him.

"Let me see this."

Rey took Gisel's leg and placed it on his lap. Massaging his ankle slowly while occasionally asking Gisel if anyone is sick.

"Yesterday Reina came to my dream," Rey's eyes suddenly as she was massaging Gisel's legs.

"It feels like real. His laughing voice, as he called out to me, his chirping, all still sounded the same. Exactly as you said back then," he continued.

Gisel recalled the time he was in the hospital. He told me many things about his experience, including his meeting with Reina. Rey sounded enthusiastic as she told it.

"He said anything?" asked Gisel, taking his foot back from Rey, telling her he was fine. Then bring herself closer to Rey. Listen to everything Rey will tell him.

This time, there was a new kind of hope in each of his stories. Gisel can feel Reina's arrival in Rey's dream is to make Rey love Reina more. Not to forget it, but to let it be happy in its new place. Rey looks better prepared this time.

Gisel then clasped Rey's fingers. He channeled his power back to Rey through his grasp. Gisel never got tired of listening to the man tell a story.

"Mama will clean Reina's room tomorrow. Reina's things will be stored in the warehouse. The room will be used for the guest room" Rey said suddenly to Gisel's surprise.

"Aunty okay?" asked Gisel reassuring Rey's statement once again.

"Hm ... Reina also came to Mama through a dream. Because of that, Mama looks pretty sure" Rey told me.

"If he does agree .. thank goodness. I'm going home tomorrow, yeah. I haven't talked to Auntie in a long time" Gisel said.

It was almost afternoon when they were getting ready to go home. Gisel was tidying up his luggage when Rey suddenly grabbed his hand and slipped something on his ring finger.

It feels mixed into one. Gisel could not even decide what he was really feeling. There was a sense of happiness, but also surprise when he saw a circular ring on his ring finger. Not a little there is also a sense of wonder, for what Rey slipped it there.

"We're married, yes," Rey said later.

Gisel looked into Rey's eyes. He could see Rey's earnestness from that look. But, Gisel still could not believe what he had just heard.

"You want to, right? Marry me, yeah."

"W-are you sure?," asked Gisel nervously. Basically, he also had no idea what he was asking.

Gisel shifted his gaze. He avoided Rey by walking away from her. "N-that's not what I meant. I'm just ..."

Rey then pulls Gisel's wrist to make the girl come back to him. His hand immediately grabbed Gisel's body and made him cling to it. So that he could easily grab Gisel's face and kiss her.

"M-sorry .. I'm just nervous" Gisel said as Rey let go of her kiss. Both of his eyes were closed as he still did not dare to look Rey in both eyes.

But then, Gisel hits Rey's field chest.

"You too! Don't surprise people like that!," snapped Gisel glaring at Rey sharply.

Rey breathed a sigh of relief at last. He laughed at Gisel's reaction. The reaction he knew so well. It was supposed to be the reaction of the girl he loved.

"Next week I'm going to go home with mom and dad. Get ready!" said Rey. He took Gisel's hand and pulled him away.

"What?! I haven't agreed to it, Rey!," shouted Gisel angrily at Rey.

Rey doesn't care. He kept laughing and kept holding Gisel. "Not want to know. Next week I'll go home."

"If I don't want to, what?" Gisel was still yelling at Rey.

"Yes, no problem. I'm asking Om and Auntie to lock you up in the room until our wedding day."

"You're crazy, huh?"

Rey laughed loudly. "Yes, because of you. Auch, Gi ..."

Gisel kicked Rey's leg because of his annoyance at the man. Despite the pain, Rey still laughed. Seeing her like that, Gisel's annoyance and anger slowly disappeared. What he feels now is happiness. Now he could clearly feel that happiness.

He saw Rey's hand in his hand. He could also catch a glimpse of the metallic luster from the ring that coiled around his finger. The coldness of the metal gave him a sign that this was no longer a dream. Gisel felt that happiness.

The new day he was on at the moment gave him a lot of meaning as well as happiness. If this is God's second chance, then Gisel will joyfully live it. He won't waste it.
