I Love You, Sir

I Love You, Sir
26.

Shandy felt his body being violently shaken to the point of forcing him to wake up. As soon as he opened his eyes, he saw the witty face of Dara and Monik who was holding back laughter looking at him.

“Why are you laughing?” Shandy asked as he tried to sit down.

Monik and Dara's laughter broke out instantly until they heard the reprimanding sound of the library guard making the two silence their mouths. But laughter still rang out from his second lip.

“You guys why the hell? What's so funny?” Ask Shandy again. He immediately grabbed his phone and opened the camera app. He made sure that his face was not strange.

And it's true. There was nothing strange about his face. Everything's normal. But why are his two best friends laughing so much?

“Sorry yes we laughed a lot. You are so funny when you sleep. Calling mommy that way. Like a child knows,” said Dara who began to be able to control himself even though a small laugh sometimes still sounded from his lips.

The moniker nodded. “Newly this time you see Shandy this blanket. But how can you fall asleep in the library? You missed an Indonesian class with art. Fortunately, Mr. Dirga went to class to make you.”

Shandy looked at the confused Monik. “Pak Dirga ngijinin me? What did he say?”

Dara nodded.”Ja. He said you were not healthy. But as soon as I left class, he said that you fell asleep in the library. He said he accidentally saw you when he wanted to find a book.”

Clever also Dirga made up the story, Inner Shandy. “Iya, the story was looking for a reading book. Even sleeping deh.”

“Yaudah, come home. School has started to be quiet and soon the library will also close.”

Shandy immediately got up from his seat until he realized that he was covered in someone's jacket.

“Who's package is it? How not your usual jacket?” Dara asked who was astonished to see the black jacket that was on Shandy's lap.

From the smell alone Shandy immediately knew if it belonged to Dirga. But he clearly didn't want to tell the truth. He will be mistaken for a stalker if he memorizes the scent of Dirga perfume.

Shandy nodded weakly. “Don't know either. Probably got one of those students who's sorry to see me fall asleep. We'll look for tomorrow. Someone will ask for his jacket back.”

“Or not either. Who knew he was your secret fan? So indeed everything ninggalin jacket for you,” seductive Monik which was greeted with a great laugh by Dara.

Shandy rolled his eyes lazily. “Apaan the hell you guys. Uh, I'm the same Dara. My mom couldn't pick me up today. I'll go to the boutique mom.”

Dara nodded. They parted ways with the Monik in the parking lot. Dara and Shandy get into Dara's car while Monik drives his own car.

“You seriously don't know who the owner of the jacket is? That's an expensive jacket. Not just any student can have a jacket. Is it possible it's Dion's?” Ask Dara who is still curious about the jacket that Shandy brought.

Shandy smiled slightly. “And I told you earlier. The one who has will definitely let me make him take his jacket again. And not. This isn't Dion's. Sad to know that I still remember the smell of Dion's perfume.”

Dara smiled at her best friend. “Don’t worry. First love is hard to lose. If you've found something better than Dion, you'll forget him as quickly as light. People like Dion it's not worth remembering anymore.”

Shandy smiled faintly at Dara's reply. “Ya, it should be forgotten and open a new sheet.”

Upon arrival at the boutique, he saw that Dewi was arranging clothes that would be the latest collection of mothers for this season. She also heard that she will participate in Jakarta Fashion Week soon.

“Lho Shandy? Who is here?” Tanya is surprised by Shandy's sudden arrival at the boutique.

Shandy put on a sinless smile. “Sama Dara. Mother any?” Shandy asked while looking for his mother.

Mother Goddess shook her head. “Mother again has a lunch appointment with one of the clients. Remember not who was here to make a wedding dress? Her family took her to lunch together. Said an old acquaintance of mom huh?” Oceh mbak Dewi who did not pay attention to the look of Shandy's face that turned turbid.

“Lunch where mbak? Mother story gak?”

The Goddess seemed to think for a moment. “He said at Sushi Tei in Gandaria City. You want to wash your eyes, he said.”

Without saying goodbye to Dewi, Shandy rushes out of the boutique and hails an online taxi. He wanted to meet her soon and bring her home.

He knows, mom is an adult. Mother would know what to do. But somehow Shandy felt bad. He does not want to be close to someone who is clearly his ex-lover. Even if he believes, mother will not betray him and father.

The journey did not go smoothly. Congestion that became a common thing in Jakarta made Shandy even more careless. Moreover, the mother did not answer her phone at all. He tried to text and call, but none got a reply.

Finally after an emotional journey, Shandy arrived at his destination. He rushed to the dining place that was visited by the mother.

As soon as he arrived at the place, his head turned to look for the mother. But he still could not find the mother. He tried to call his mother and this time his call was answered.

“Where's the month?” Ask Shandy quickly. Mother hasn't even said anything.

“Mother? Mother again on the way back to the boutique. Had lunch with a client. What's up?”

Shandy's feet went limp until he sat down in front of the sushi restaurant. A couple of restaurant waiters came up to him and asked him how he was. But he chose to ignore them.

“Darling, you why? Where the hell are you rame?”

No response from Shandy. He decided to disconnect the phone and walk away from the sushi restaurant. Some are still asking about his condition, making sure he is okay even though he is ignored again.

He walked slowly to the exit. Several times he bumped into people who were passing him because of his unfocused eyes.

He felt his eyes hot and his head dizzy. Not to mention his chest that was claustrophobic due to the raging emotions.

He almost bumped into people again when his body was pulled by someone and hugged slowly. As soon as he smelled the scent of perfume that was very familiar to him, suddenly his tears spilled.

He cried as he hugged the person in front of him very tightly. He crumpled the man's jacket very strongly and trembled.

“Dirga, please. It felt really tight,” great-grandson Shandy with his voice that shook and he felt his embrace in his body getting tighter.
