I Can Hear Your Heart

I Can Hear Your Heart
10. The Police Station

"Where are you sleeping?" After sitting on the bed after taking a shower, I greeted him. It looked a little silly when I realized I was talking to myself or talking to my room.

"I can sleep anywhere, in the closet or in your reading chair."

"Sleep in the reading chair. Why do you have to sleep in the closet?" I grabbed her words quickly. He didn't reply. I was still staring around me to find out the whereabouts of that handsome ghost. Then I found the signal of his existence from the books that shifted on the shelf, it seemed like he was busy choosing his reading. We passed some time in our own busy lives. I was busy calling IPTU Candra and she seemed to be busy reading my book collection. I saw only one paper open like the wind. He returned to his visible form.

"The number you are heading to is out of reach try after the next note. The number you are calling..." I turned off my phone feeling annoyed. How can a police officer be so irresponsible. He ignored my call when it was because of his idea that I was in a dangerous position.

What if tonight or tomorrow morning Rosta comes back? Take the evidence and hurt me? Then without these evidences he could pitch free. I don't like that. Although I would be hurt, but making sure Rosta received his reply was fairer in my mind.

I paced back and forth and decided to meet IPTU Candra myself at the police station or if she wasn't at the police station, at least the cops at the police station know where I can find him?

I turned to my wardrobe, grabbed a black cardigan and a pair of trousers. Then ran to the bathroom to change my nightgown. The clock had shown at eight o'clock that night.

"I'll accompany you." I stared at the bookshelf as the statement sounded. There's no sign of him there. The books have been neatly arranged. I didn't know where he was, nor could I hear his heart - I really became too normal about him. But, well, whatever he's standing where he's gonna be right now he's gonna be with me.

It turned out that even though he was occasionally ferocious, he was quite considerate as a ghost.

"okay." I welcomed, brushed off the coldness around my body. I grabbed Rosta's briefcase from behind the mirror in the bathroom and I was outside the door for a moment. "You're out there?" I'm ascertaining.

"Why?" Like the wind sound of that sound.

"Because I have to lock the door." I'm innocent. He laughed amusedly as if he had just watched the most ridiculous joke when he heard my sentence. Then as he spoke, I realized my stupidity.

"I'm ghost. I can get through the door."

Sure oes. He's ghost. He can break through the door. You're a fool, Emely.

I mumbled to myself.

"This is the first time I've met a ghost, of course I could be wrong." I defended myself while stepping. He chuckles. We got out of the back of the hotel and stopped a passing taxi.

Are you by my side? Have you gone into the taxi?

I wanted to ask that with my mouth, but I was lazy to be a laughing stock, after all there is a taxi driver here who will gladly justify me crazy and sorry I do not intend to enter the group.

"I'm by your side." He whispered to my ear, as if he had just reread my mind. His voice calms me. "If you're afraid of being justified as a lunatic, you can talk to me with your heart. I'll answer you in a whisper." I glanced at my right side, where I believed he was.

"Alright, Princess, your orders are an obligation to me." He likes to joke and I smile. It was possible that the taxi driver I was riding in would see a strange thing about me smiling to myself.

And he really did it like a command that he could not seem: from the naked eye he turned into a mist that formed a form, a form, but it's not solid then slowly I can see it's apparently solidified and completely real. A handsome man seemed to be sitting with charismatic elegance by my side. The stele slightly baffled me. Away from the shading and slovenly shadows of the ghostly tales in flim, he looks dashing with his white shirt, black suit and expensive pantofel shoes. He turned his face and smiled at me. His light gray eyes were brighter than the night sky.

The taxi stopped in front of the police station. We rushed down. Reporting at the guard post located in front of the entrance of the police station. There are three police officers there with the rank of Bintara. One served us and asked us to wait as he contacted the office.

"IPTU Candra is not in the office at the moment."

"Do I know where the address is? There's something urgent for me to give her, but she can't be contacted from now on."

"We can't tell the address of a police officer without his permission."

"But it's urgent."

"If you have an IPTU Candra phone number it's a good idea to call her back. Maybe this time it'll be lifted."

I sighed in annoyance. Want to not get my phone back to that number. Just as I was just starting to call her back, a car stopped in front of the police station gate, the windshield opened and IPTU Candra gushed her face. The three Bintara immediately saluted him.

"Manager Li's. I just got back from the hotel looking for you." I stared at the sound and closed my cell phone. IPTU Candra smiled and I greeted her with a sour face.

"This is all the evidence you need." I stuffed Rosta's briefcase out of the window of the open car. " And from now on don't try to put me in danger when you can't even take care of me."

Then I saw the greatness of the incident this afternoon that forced him to turn his car that was following me. Robbery during the day at a jewelry store. One of the robbers died at the scene of the crime by the hot lead released by IPTU Candra and three of the herd fled. IPTU Candra is chasing them.

It forced me to give sympathy and then to dismiss the anger and resentment in my heart without her having to apologize or explain why. That's one of the advantages of the ability that I have, dismissing misunderstandings. "I understand you have another assignment. I'm back. It's been quite a night."

I was just about to move when IPTU Candra's hand grabbed me and made my step stifled. " I admit I was wrong. But... did you take that evidence from Rosta?" He looked at me in shock. " I didn't ask you to go that far. That must be pretty scary." He's grabbing my shoulder. I want to tell you what I went through to get the evidence: how I fell from a ten-story building and a ghost saved me and took me back to my hotel room safely, or how suddenly Rosta ransacked the contents of my room to find me and the evidence and the same ghost, a handsome ghost who now lives with me protecting me.

We hugged in the bathtub. It felt strange when my eyes could see them all. But they can't even see me.

But I didn't tell you everything. Just part of it and I clearly saw the worry in IPTU Candra's eyes. " We go inside first. I'm gonna get him a warrant and drive you back to the hotel."

IPTU Candra opened her car door to me and drove straight into the police station area. For a moment I glanced at the back seat of the car making sure my handsome ghost didn't miss out there.
