I Believe I Can See Ghosts

I Believe I Can See Ghosts
New School.

"Then."

Enrico knocked on the door of the room his son now occupied.

"Braaac."

I opened the door and asked why. The question was without a sound, only the eyes of Kala spoke. Philip handed him a blanket. Kala looked back and saw the bed that already had a bed cover.

"This blanket, your mother used to use often when there were Mapala activities or when we were on tour somewhere" said Philip.

Kala grabbed the blanket, and Philip moved.

"When you don't have a toothbrush, the one at Egan's house forgets to bring it."

Philip stopped his steps and turned his head, the man smiled faintly at his son.

"Is there anything else you need?" ask her later.

Kala shook her head.

"Ok, I'll bring it here."

Kala nodded and turned around, the boy then closed the door. Philip soon returned with what Kala had asked for. Even he added a new towel, because it was remembered that in the bathroom Kala there was no towel.

"Tomorrow to go home from work, your samperin father is at school. We'll buy whatever gear you don't have."

As he nodded, Philip left the boy to do other activities below.

In the morning, Philip was preparing. He was surprised there were two bowls of chicken soup on the dining table. He remembered that he still kept a lot of food in the refrigerator, but he did not know if this had turned into cooking.

Kala then came over, dressed in full school clothes. He was also told yesterday if he would transfer his school at Egan school. He also got a new uniform.

"Here are you making?" philip asked Kala.

The handsome teenage boy nodded. Philip wasn't so surprised by a boy of Kala's age who could cook. Because he was like that too from the past.

But what makes him surprised is, the soup is also his favorite food from childhood. Every morning he always asked to make it to his mother, or he made it himself when he was a teenager.

Philip really did not expect, that it was not just his face that was so similar. Kala also likes things that her father likes. Though he grew up neither in the upbringing of Philip nor Gayatri, who knew the habits of Philip.

"Who were you taught?" philip asked as he began to slide the chair and sit down.

"Sir Gilang, next door neighbor."

Philip looked at the boy.

"Little time Kala hard to eat, and often scolded the same grandmother. Grandpa always took Kala, and took Kala out of the house. Usually grandfather will buy food outside for Kala. Once his mother brother Gilang gave this soup to the house, maybe he heard Kala often scolded. He said the kids must love to eat this."

"And you like it?"

Kala nodded.

"Since then have we asked to do so often?"

"Yes, same as Gilang's mother. If in a house where Kala was in follow, except by talking to grandpa. When grandfather died, there was no one else who could find Kala."

Philip sighed, honestly he wanted to hear more stories from his son. But because it was still morning, he was reluctant to remind Kala of the unpleasant things.

"Hmm, good." said Philip as he began to sip the soup.

When silent look at Philip, but Philip knew if the child was quite happy his cooking in praise.

"For your information, it's dad's favorite dish."

Kala nodded and looked back at Philip.

"Serious." continued Philip later.

"But I prefer that the coriander leaves are more" he said again.

"So little left" replied Kala.

"Yes, it's ok. This is perfect." Philip smiled and went back to eating.

A little after breakfast, Kala walked towards the bathroom and so did Philip. Because he was watching each other's cellphones, the two involuntarily almost collided on the doorstep.

Suddenly stopped, so did Philip. Both of them are silent, for the sake of seeing the folding toothbrush in each hand.

Again their habits are the same, like to bring a folding toothbrush anywhere. Both of them feel uncomfortable when they eat, and do not clean their teeth.

"May you too?"

Some of the girls, who were members of a popular school gang, looked towards Kala and her father who were walking towards the teacher's room.

"New students?"

Some of them seemed to be whispering. Kala just kept quiet and followed Philip's steps. After finishing all business with the principal, Philip also said goodbye to Kala.

"Dad work first, I'll pick you up in the afternoon. You're okay Dad's staying?"

When he nodded, Philip said goodbye to the headmaster and moved on. Before long, a teacher was taken to class.

"For the children."

The teacher greeted the students in grade 1-C

"Mom's morning." answered them all simultaneously.

"Today you have a new friend, his name is Kala Madhara Adyatama."

"Who is Madara Uchiha lo, bro?"

One of the students nodded and invited the laughter of the entire class. For the first time in his life, Kala smiles in front of his classmates.

"Well, Kala, you're sitting there, next to Andy."

As he stepped, he sat down next to the boy who had slammed into him. The boy seemed friendly to her, and soon the lesson began.

"Bro, you know that bench you're occupying right now?"

Andy suddenly told her in the middle of the lesson. The boy's voice was half whispering, so that the teacher wouldn't hear him.

"Why?" ask Kala wonder.

"20 years ago, she said the student sitting here committed suicide. His name is Rose."

"Who said?" Kala asked back.

"According to rumors that circulated for generations." answered Andy.

Kala also laughed a little.

"Lo not afraid?" ask Andy again.

"Gue from earlier did not squirm anything here" said Kala.

"Normally do you squirm?"

"Yes." answered Kala later.

Andy was surprised, he looked at Kala with gaping lips.

"No, I'm kidding" Kala said.

Andy then breathed a sigh of relief, while Kala again laughed a little.

"Gue plans to do this, even you who know me." said Andy.

Both of them laughed and looked back at the lesson.

Time passed, and the break bell rang. All the students went to the cafeteria immediately.

"Kal, yuk's canteen?" Andy took Kala.

"Lo invite me?" Kala, who had no friends in the previous place, asked Andy.

"Who else is it, you have two" said Andy.

"Cantin yuk bro." Three other people appear to be inviting Andy.

"Come on Kal." Andy said again.

"OK."

Soon after, Kala went to the cafeteria with his new friends.

Without Kala noticing, the book he left on the table, suddenly opened itself sheet by sheet. Even though there was no wind blowing, the classroom window door was tightly closed.
