Hydra
Chapter 2

For everyone the problem is easy to solve, but other with the figure of Dirga, he never found a way how to solve his personal problems, every day the problems that have beenfallen him now become a pressure for his life. Her personality even had to turn naughty in order for her to feel free, unencumbered by the matter, Dirga also sought her own pleasure, whatever Dirga did as long as it could make her comfortable.

Tonight Dirga was alone in her room― who was on the second floor― sat on the balcony of the house holding a guitar, looking at Jakarta from above her house. Indeed, the house that Dirga inhabit is quite large, two-story, even at night the atmosphere around the area of his house is clearly visible, it is clear, he himself is more often on the balcony of the house enjoying every little light that bounces towards his eyes.

Although the house is big, but living here makes Dirga feel like a stranger. Dirga rarely saw his parents go upstairs, even going into his room to meet him, waking him up in the morning, or just to see if their child was still there? All that is rarely Dirga get, maybe arguably never since almost a year.

What happened to both parents? They are busy with their respective work, until Dirga― their own children are never noticed like their parents' favorite children. Dirga is an only child. Dirga is often jealous to see his friend's parents come to school, take care of the problems made by his son, advise, pay attention with affection. Just the word “ Jealous” made him even more frustrated himself when he saw the others with their parents.

The thing you want most right now is happiness. However, the happiness that Dirga meant he had never felt once. Who does not want to be happy, everyone must want it, whatever way they must do as long as they make their feelings happy.

Ahh, if Dirga keeps remembering the problem she is currently feeling, her tears seem to be dripping with the atmosphere. Dirga was still sitting on the balcony of his house, holding a guitar. Dirga slowly began strumming the guitar strings to produce a melodious sound. Songs about longing Dirga often sing while being alone, considering he is like living alone in his house at this time, there is only Bi Siti― a helper at Dirga's house. Where are his parents? Sometimes his parents are there, sometimes they are not. They often go out of town for work.

Suddenly a message came into his phone. I don't know who it was from, which definitely doesn't have the name of the sender. Dirga stopped strumming his guitar, his eyes looking at the phone located to his right. He opened the message.

“Hai, Dirga. Good night”

That was the message Dirga received. No sender's name, Dirga himself doesn't know whose number it is. Just read, without having to reply, Dirga again put his phone on his right.

His phone rang a second time. Dirga stared at the screen of his phone, he was shocked to see the contents of the message. Dirga picked up her phone. His finger began to type something, but the writing was again deleted because he thought it was not too important to reply. The message was from Rafika.

“Assalamualaikum, Mr Dirga!”

Dirga heard the sound of people saying greetings while knocking on the door of his room. Dirga stood up, walked over to the door, then opened it. “Ehh, The Aunt. What's up, Bi?” dirga asked after opening the door, seeing that Bi Siti was standing behind the door.

“That, there are his friends waiting in front.”

“Iya-iya, Bi. Tell them, ‘Dirga again change clothes’”

“Iya, Mr.” Bi Siti turned around wanting to walk back to the front of the house, but stopped for a moment when Dirga blocked her.

“Bi, Dirga please do not call Dirga ‘Tuan’. Pliss ... call aja ‘Dirga’ or ‘Nak’. Consider this Dirga Bi Siti's own child,” pinta Dirga with a sad face.

Bi Siti's face was immediately confused, she did not know that Dirga actually did not want to be called “Tuan”. Bi Siti was also hesitant about Dirga's request to be considered as her own child, because it was clear that Dirga was her employer's child. If Bi Siti calls Dirga by name, it does not seem to appreciate their degrees as a maid and the employer's child. Bi Siti was so confused by Dirga's request.

“But ...” Bi Siti was hesitant.

“Nothing really, Bi. Aunty knows that mommy is just as good as Dirga, so Dirga needs more attention, Bi. Dirga needs a place to complain when in trouble. Aunty should not hesitate or be afraid, consider it Dirga's own son Aunty,” pinta Dirga with his pure face.

“Iya-iya, Nak.” Bi Siti started calling Dirga “Nak”. Then Bi Siti again walked to the door of the house to convey the words of Dirga earlier.

Dirga himself immediately changed his clothes. Dirga left the room after finishing dressing neatly, not forgetting also the car keys.

His footsteps descended each step of the stairs towards the first floor. Dirga looks a little excited when he knows there are friends who come.

“Ehh, Ayu ..” he said when he saw Ayu standing at his doorstep.

“Night, Di,” saya Ayu.

Ayu doesn't come alone, she comes alone with Rafika. Rafika did not greet Dirga like Ayu, she just smiled nodding in front of Dirga herself. It's an atmosphere that I never expected before.

Usually, Dirga friends who often come to his house if not Udik, yes, Rahman. The three of them often spend the night together around Jakarta in a Dirga car, or to the boarding house Rahman just to hang out. But this time who came was not his boy friend, but his girl friend with new students who were also new to Dirga know.

“Please enter first,” tell Dirga.

The three of them sat on the living room sofa chair.

What house is the palace? Great, praise Rafika in your heart. His eyes went through every part around him, he was amazed by the house that Dirga lived in.

Big and luxurious, that's the picture of Dirga's house. Silence and sadness, that's a suitable picture for Dirga's feelings when living in his house.

“Where are your parents, Di?” Ayu immediately discussed the existence of the two Dirga parents. It just makes Dirga a little uncomfortable to discuss it.

Dirga's face looks straight flat, without staring at Ayu who asked. Dirga took out the phone in his pants pocket, he prefers to play games rather than discuss the whereabouts of his parents.

Both Ayu and Rafika, they both watched Dirga was engrossed in playing games on his own mobile phone. Upset by Dirga's childish attitude, Ayu forcibly takes Dirga's phone and puts it on the table.

“Dirga, this is me again talking, horrin kek. Do not play the mulu game. Sorry, if my question was a bit bad,” said Ayu.

“So why didn't you reply to my message, Di? I'm your friend too, right?” rafika asked softly as if she had been close friends with Dirga.

Dirga frowned. “Friends? Since when do we know?” Dirga originally spoke in front of Rafika―, who is currently very hopeful to become his close friend.

“Di, lo don't be like Rafika―”

Ayu's words were cut by Dirga. “Well, um I don't know with him yet, right?” Dirga pointed at Rafika who was sitting next to Ayu.

“Gue wants to be your friend, Di. I also want to be a place you vent about your problems now, I will help you get out of this sad zone, Di.” Rafika still intends to be a close friend of Dirga, even Rafika wants to help solve Dirga's problems at this time, whether he himself already knows or not the real problem.

“Mending you take him home, Yu,” tell Dirga. He tells Ayu to take Rafika home soon.

Suddenly Rafika's feelings were torn to shreds after hearing the words from Dirga. Rafika does not expect that he was expelled by Dirga. This he never got during his life, Dirga behavior did make Rafika and Ayu disappointed.

They both stood up.

“Then we go home first, Di. Ohh yes, tomorrow school do not skip again,” said Ayu. Then they immediately went out to Rafika's car, then left Dirga's house.

***

A bright day illuminates Cakrawala Jakarta High School. All the students were seen being crowded in the school cafeteria. As usual, the cafeteria must be very crowded with hungry students.

Dirga walks with Udik and Rahman to the school cafeteria. Instantly they stopped because there was one of the tenth grade students who gave a letter to Dirga directly. After Dirga received it, the three of them resumed their journey to the cafeteria. Suddenly Dirga stopped in front of the garbage can, and he threw away the letter that his class sister had given him without knowing the contents first.

“Bu!” dirga exclaimed to the canteen guards after being there. Dirga shifted someone's seat, he took over that person's place.

There was no need for the cafeteria to ask what Dirga would order, because he himself already knew what Dirga usually ordered.

The canteen guard walked up to Dirga with his order. The cafeteria put Dirga's order in front of her, then returned to her place.

Meatballs and juice, became Dirga's order almost every day while in the cafeteria. Udik and Rahman also ordered the same food and drinks as Dirga. After a while, their order arrived. The three of them ate the food while chatting.

“Ehh, you know that new student in our class?” tanya Rahman pointed at Dirga.

Dirga just nodded.

“Why?” ask Udik.

“He wants to be close to you, Di. Yesterday I heard that he asked for your number as Ayu. I think he's been given.”

“Yes, keep the same business as me what?” ask Dirga casually.

“Ya, you are single, he has just brushed, pretty lo dapet that beautiful,” advice Rahman.

“You're beautiful how I don't care about her either. If you want to be with him, just take it for lo.”

Dirga is very difficult to open his heart to anyone, he is not concerned with dating for now, what Dirga needs now is a way to solve his problems, and feel family happiness. Dirga never thought of finding a boyfriend again, or approaching girls at school. If indeed he really wants to find a girlfriend, Dirga can certainly quickly get a boyfriend. A lot of girls who like him, Dirga stay together if he wants, but unfortunately he has not thought to date again.

Dirga's phone located on the table vibrated, the phone came in from Ayu. He lifted.

“Iya, what's up, Yu?” dirga asked after picking up the phone from Ayu.

“Lo where now?”

“Gue in canteen.”

“Yes, I'm there now.”

Dirga immediately disconnected his phone.

It didn't take long for Ayu to go to the cafeteria. Now that they were in the cafeteria, Ayu's eyes swept across everyone in the cafeteria. Ayu and Rafika approach Dirga after finding out his whereabouts.

“Lo really never reply to Rafika's message, why?” ask Ayu, defend Rafika.

Meanwhile, Rafika who was standing beside Ayu just silently listened to what they were going to say.

Dirga finished with the food. Dirga faced towards Ayu who was standing beside her. “Iya, Yu. Aye! I'll reply to a friend's message. So you do not need to be tired again nyamperin I am here to reply to a friend lo.”

“Hai, Dirga!” Suddenly one of the students greeted Dirga from behind him. The student walked towards the front of Dirga, and she was now right in front of him.

The atmosphere instantly became uncomfortable for Dirga himself. When Indira comes, Dirga looks uncomfortable with his presence there. Indira looked at Dirga with a gaze that had once made Dirga melt, but now the gaze was never touched by Dirga. It was free for him to look back at Indira if it would only be a torture for her.

Indira smiled at Dirga. His hand wanted to reach Dirga's arm, but was pushed aside by Dirga himself. Indira immediately felt uncomfortable with Dirga's treatment of her. Indira did not expect to be treated like this in front of many people.

“He will replace the previous lo position!” Dirga pointed at Rafika who was silent beside Ayu. The words were clearly meant for Indira.

“Gue knows you haven't been able to move on from me, Di,” Indira said just like that.

“Gue has moved on from lo!” firmly, “still less clear? I've moved on from lo, and who changed your position, Rafika!” In the final sentence there is emphasis in each word.

Dirga's statement astonished everyone, including Rafika himself who did not expect that Dirga said so. The words issued by Dirga made everyone speechless. Does Dirga really prefer Rafika to Indira? Or maybe this is just Dirga's wits to avoid Indira.

Rafika's arm is held by Dirga. Dirga invites Rafika to go from the cafeteria to their classroom. Rafika walked hastily accompanied the footsteps of Dirga who wanted to quickly leave from there.

What is this incident? Dirga's ex-girlfriend just came over to those who were chatting in the cafeteria, making the atmosphere become chaotic.

“The path is fast!”

“Sabar, I can't walk in a hurry,” said Rafika, still continuing his steps following Dirga.

They go to class. Dirga immediately told Rafika to sit down, and explained all about his words earlier. Rafika was shocked, her heart immediately felt a deep pain. Dirga explained that the incident in the cafeteria was not taken seriously, he did not really mean the statement.

Rafika fell silent after listening to Dirga's explanation.

What does Dirga want, anyway? How to make people's children so expect that. Dirga seemed to have power over Rafika when in the canteen earlier, Dirga did not even care about Rafika's feelings now. Most importantly he himself had already shied away from Indira.

Rafika's face was bent in sorrow. Ahh, Rafika also understood that Dirga was not too serious when in the canteen earlier, she understood the situation. But why should he be the one chosen to avoid Indira! Some of them are also new to know, and Rafika herself slowly begins to know how the nature of Dirga really is. Yeah, so he didn't have to over-react to that.

“Never make anyone else in your comfort zone, if you yourself consider all that a joke.” The words were spontaneous out of Rafika's mouth. Those words just came out without him realizing that the person in front of him right now was Dirga.

“As far as I want to do. Therefore, if you have a feeling of not being too easy to be taken seriously,” sneer Dirga.

Rafika sat on the chair, while Dirga himself stood before him with one leg rising to the chair that Rafika was sitting in. Dirga slowly brought his face closer, making Rafika himself confused about what to do. Rafika looked into Dirga's eyes. They are now looking at each other with the classroom atmosphere still empty.

“Gue tell you the same, do not easily give your heart to people. Your risk will hurt.”

Dirga leaves Rafika alone in the classroom after she says a word that is difficult to digest by Rafika herself. Dirga headed to the basketball court to fill his time at this time.

Some of the girls started screaming as Dirga walked onto the basketball court. This made all the students surprised, because Dirga had not played basketball for a long time, but this time he had stood on the basketball court and wanted to play with others.

“Dirga!!”

“Dirga! Love you!”

The voices of the students shouted their names. Evidently, Dirga was very popular in his school. From the tenth to the twelfth grade many schoolgirls idolized him, with his handsome face, sturdy body, cool appearance, Dirga became the only guy most liked by the girls.

Now Dirga is playing basketball with the other eleventh grade. The break time is often there are people who play basketball, especially the sport is much liked by the male students at Cakrawala High School. The cries of the students were heard when Dirga managed to put the basketball into the ring with a long distance. Dirga's greatness in playing basketball is still the same as before.

Dirga again snatched the basketball from the hands of the opponent, he passed some of his enemies with very agile, Dirga playing with his friends is very compact. They pass each other the ball without anyone intending to have the ball fully. Dirga caught the ball that his friend passed with his right hand, and immediately jumped into the ring. Sign in. Back the screams of the students were heard accompanying the success of Dirga insert the ball.

“Dirga!” yelled Ayu who was on the sidelines.

Dirga turned her gaze towards Ayu who called out to him. Dirga ran up to him.

“This drink,” Ayu thrust a bottle of drink at Dirga.

Ayu was very attentive to him. He accepted it, and drank it straight away. It was also seen that there was Rafika there standing beside Ayu, but Rafika herself preferred to be quiet rather than talk.

Somehow Rafika made stiff when in front of Dirga now. Is it because of the problems in the cafeteria? Is it possible that Rafika still remembered Dirga's words in class earlier? Certainly, Rafika did not want to make the atmosphere of the two of them disturbed, she preferred to be quiet.

The sound of the bell in the next lesson rang, the three of them immediately went to his class.

“Capek,” complains Dirga after sitting in his chair.

“Makanya, do not need to play basketball if tired,” pout Ayu.

“Gue cravings for basketball, Yu.”

Dirga's words suddenly made the whole class laugh.

Dirga pulled his phone out of his pants pocket. Dirga found the incoming message on whatsapp from Rafika very much, it was only natural that Ayu had approached him in the cafeteria. Though Rafika only wanted to be friends with him, but Dirga himself never responded in earnest. Dirga just let messages from Rafika stack up on his whatsapp without being read.

Curiosity approached Dirga, he wanted to open what the message from Rafika was, but his ego still held back his intention. As quickly as possible his index finger immediately pressed the message from Rafika. There were ten messages received by Dirga, and three incoming calls from Rafika. What the hell is he doing, anyway? It was not clear, Dirga sneered in his heart. The message he read one by one― which in essence still Rafika wants to be a close friend of Dirga, and he wants to help solve the problem.

Dirga stood up from his seat, approaching Rafika in his seat.

“If you want to be my friend, please. Just so, you don't have to know what my problem is now, okay?”

Rafika looked at Dirga with a little fear. In his heart was happy because Dirga was willing to accept him to be his friend. But in reality Rafika is made nervous with Dirga's attitude now.

“Rafika will help to design lo problems, Di,” Ayu continued, mediate them.

“No! No need to bother to get involved in my problems, you take care of your own life and enjoy your own happiness,” said Dirga focused on Rafika. Then, he walked back to his chair.

Teachers who will teach in their classes also enter to immediately provide material.

“Alah, Mr. Bald again who fidgets, my boss,” chirps Dirga with a little soft voice. But Dirga's words were heard by Mr. Efendi.

Mr. Efendi, the teacher who taught history lessons in their class. Indeed, Mr. Efendi always looks without hair, but it is not to be denounced by his students, Mr. Efendi is very angry if he is called “Pak Bald”. Other teachers will certainly be angry if someone dubs or calls impolite.

“Who said Mr balding earlier?!” snapped Mr. Efendi.

All the students in the class laughed after hearing the words of Mr. Efendi, including Dirga himself.

“If no one wants to tell me, now I will report to the principal that all your students are being disrespectful to the teacher!” threaten Mr. Efendi.

“Udah, ngaku, Di,” whispered Udik told Dirga ngakuin his mistake.

“Okay! Why do I want to say, there was a moment I got in trouble again,” reply Dirga whispered to Udik.

“I, Sir.”

Dirga was shocked to see Rafika standing up to admit that he had said that. Everyone in the class was also confused by the courage Rafika bore all of them. It will be this big problem, Dirga regretted in his heart.

Rafika got out of her seat, walking towards Mr. Efendi.

“I said so, sir. Sorry in advance for saying so,” said Rafika bowed before Mr. Efendi.

Bravely Rafika admitted to a mistake he did not make. That mistake could even cause problems for himself, but Rafika just admitted it was entirely his fault. What kind of person is Rafika? Why would he want to help Dirga get out of trouble?

Ayu looked at Dirga with anger.

Mistakes are still mistakes, and mistakes made must be accounted for. Dirga stood up from his chair, approaching Mr. Efendi who began to get angry with Rafika.

“I said so earlier, sir,” explained Dirga who had stood before Mr. Efendi.

Mr. Efendi was confused who actually denounced him earlier. Dirga and Rafika mutually admitted that one of them denounced Mr. Efendi. Neither Rafika nor Dirga, both of whom would not budge, they still admitted that one of them had denounced Mr. Efendi.

What exactly is this Rafika? He still insisted on helping Dirga.

“Already, you two quickly go to the ceremonial field and directly salute to the flag, now!” tell Mr. Efendi to the two of them.

The two of them immediately ran towards the ceremonial field to carry out the punishment. Dirga and Rafika respectfully lead to the flag at the end of the pole. The sun started burning their skin.

“Why do you want to admit an error that you did not make?” ask Dirga. The two of them were still respectful under the scorching sun.

Rafika looked at Dirga. “Gue already said the same lo, I want to be your friend and want to help you to create your personal problems. I know why you're like this now, Ayu told me. If there is a problem that should not be harbored alone, it will become a burden for your life. You can share the sadness with your friends, everyone would want to help, do not feel bad about involving people in trouble. I know you actually want to quickly problem lo finished, but you yourself do not know how to nyelesain how.”

The two of them now looked at each other with an atmosphere that was starting to get serious.

“Gue doesn't want many people involved in my problems. Enough I myself who understand how the pain is struggling to find happiness in the family. You don't have to go into my trouble.”

“With self-fighting what can make lo problem so finish?”

Dirga was silent. He turned back to face forward, turning his eyes.

“Gue is there to help you to solve problems. I, Ayu, Udik, and Rahman want your life to be peaceful, comfortable, happy every day, not even so. So bad boys aren't the right choice, Di! You must know why me or the others really want to help you. Although I'm your new friend, I know what you're rasain, Di. I don't want my friends to be unhappy. Family is important, Di!” Rafika was serious about his words. Her tears began to slowly come out as she said her own words.

As Rafika said, family is important. Dirga's friends continue to try to persuade Dirga that they help solve his problems. Their attitude as friends must be appreciated as much as possible, especially Rafika, she herself even though her new friend Dirga, but after knowing Dirga's personal problems, Rafika wants to solve his friend's problems.

Dirga himself just stared ahead like a statue. There are no further words from him or willing to accept Rafika's good intentions to help him solve the problem.

Time continues to spin until now Pak Efendi's lesson has been completed, along with that also the punishment of Dirga and Rafika ended.

Without any words or solicitation, Dirga just pulled Rafika's arm towards the school cafeteria. Throughout the journey Rafika continues to accompany Dirga who pulled him by force.

They are both in the cafeteria now. Dirga ordered two glasses of iced tea for the two of them. He knew that Rafika was also thirsty for receiving the punishment, so he ordered two iced teas for them. Dirga did not say anything, he just told Rafika to drink her iced tea.

After that, the two of them returned to class together.

Really Rafika was confused by the attitude that Dirga had shown towards him. Yesterday Rafika received less good treatment than Dirga, even Dirga until this morning was still indifferent with him, but after they were punished by Mr. Efendi earlier, Dirga's attitude towards Rafika changed. Did Dirga already assume that Rafika was his friend? Ahh, it doesn't matter now, which is for sure Rafika looks happy after getting good treatment from Dirga.
