Daniar woke up from his stupor. He vaguely heard some people talking.

"Are you sure this belongs to Darel's wife?"

"True sir, we found the woman calling Darel's wife by name, possibly one of his friends. Doesn't this mean they're still alive sir?"

"Hemm, tell the others! have them guard around the woods! find Darel and Mentari if you need to just finish them off right then, got it?!!" said the man.

"Understand master!" said his men in unison.

It turns out that it was Dendi who was looking for Darel to make sure that Darel completely disappeared from the world. A few days of searching but no sign of Darel and Mentari made Dendi very happy. But his pleasure changed when he saw his men carrying a woman holding a watch owned by Mentari.
