Papa Offers

Papa's smile spread to see Kendra want to hear her mother's request to sit with her. The face and stature of Kendra. His second son, another woman, was very similar to him when he was young. Always rebel if he thinks it is not in accordance with what he wants.

"What do you want to talk about?" ask Kendra coldly. His son was indeed difficult to call him Papa, because according to him if it is true the head of the family name of his father must also be listed on the family card.

"Mayura!" His mother was always the mediator between them.

"How's college?"

"Good."

"Thank God. Mm, after graduation, where do you want to continue S2?"

Kendra laughed cynically, "I have no interest in becoming a doctor."

"Ow, you want to work directly in the company can also. You could work in a pharmaceutical or social institution as a health analyst, or ka--"

"I'm not interested" cut Kendra fast.

"Ow, then, do you have any other plans?"

"Next, when choosing a major that is now not because I like the world of health but because I want to silence the mouth of the arrogant son of the Father."

"The kendra! That's polite, call Papa." Mama's eyeballs are almost out of place.

"Yes, Papa." Kendra rolled both her eyes panted, "I just want her to know that I too can even surpass her."

Papa nodded his head trying to understand the contents of his son's head.

"Then what field do you really want to pursue?"

"Kendra loves to cook, Bram. She loves to experiment in the kitchen" her mother said.

"Yeah!" sergeant Kendra doesn't like it if things he thinks are personally known by his father.

"Like cooking? Like you." Kendra snorted unhappily as her Papa smiled sweetly at her Mama, "Papa so want to try to taste your cooking."

"Hm." Kendra melengos lazy.

"Do you want to go to a school that suits your field?"

Kendra's eyes moved restlessly. Although his body was silent and his mouth did not say anything, his father knew that he was weighing the prayer he offered.

"Papa knows a good school for you. Graduates there can not only work in high-end restaurants and hotels, but many open their own businesses. If you want, Papa can send you there."

Kendra's getting restless. That's her dream. Maybe for some people, men getting into the kitchen is something that is embarrassing and not prestigious. Not for him, getting into the kitchen and struggling with all the equipment and food ingredients that are ready to be processed makes him feel drawn to a different world.

"A little far away, but the result is beyond doubt. Le Cordon Bleu in France."

"What's? No, it's too far." Kendra nodded firmly.

"Why? Are you worried about leaving your mom alone? Your mama can come along, you two can stay there until your education is over or for as long as you want."

Kendra still shook her head faintly, not only was that the reason that led her to reject the tantalizing offer from her Papa. His life goals for a long time and his dream school are in sight, but how can he leave a crybaby girl who still likes to cry in the apartment room alone?

"Try to consider your Papa's offer, Ken. Mama knows this is the world you've wanted for a long time." Mom tried to convince.

Kendra's head shook increasingly louder. France was too far away, Maura could not be aligned with her dreams. He was willing to bury his dream deeply to keep seeing the girl all the time.

What if Maura chooses to return with Harvey? After confessing her love and their closeness these few days, she is not sure she can survive seeing her stepbrother and the girl of her dreams.

"Give me time to think about it." Kendra stood up from her seat and entered the house.

Before he completely disappeared behind the door, he said to his mother, "Ma, don't stay outside too long, come in it's late."

"I'm sorry Kendra, Bram. He's not usually like this."

Papa Kendra chuckled, "I see, I'm glad he's grown up and can protect you in my place. May we unite into a whole family."

Mr. Bram was about to grab Mama Kendra's hand, but the woman subtly refused by pulling her hand.

"Go home, your family awaits. I'll try to persuade Kendra again later."

In the room, Kendra lay on the bed looking at her phone full of messages from Maura.

'Whatdoyouwant? I hope you don't make me just a shadow lover, ' her mind is sad.

Tomorrow at the Kendra campus intend to meet Maura in her class. Can't stand the feeling of not seeing that girl for a day. Although his heart still hurt to see the inappropriate scene in the room yesterday, at least he could look at the girl from a distance.

Unfortunately Harvey had the same thoughts as him, even his half-brother was there first. The situation is the same as when Maura came to see Harvey in his faculty building and ended up being spat on by his lover.

The two sat side by side with Maura's friends surrounding the two of them. Maura seemed to hold her head down occasionally chatting and joking with the lady friend sitting beside her. Harvey repeatedly tidied up Maura's wind-blown haircut. The small action provoked the mouths of the students around them to tempt the two of them.

"Ciieee, romantic right."

"It's hard to move on, brother."

"Of course, you know and witness that we're both getting married" Harvey said.

"Maura when she saw Brother Harvey with other women, the gala was not playing, sister. We're worried about the kid committing suicide."

"What the hell are you guys."

"Ciiee, maliuu!" Instead of being angry, Maura instead chuckled as her friends cheered while tickling around Maura's waist.

From a distance, different things appeared in Kendra's eyes. The young man retreated and hid behind a tree. He felt Maura was happy to be on Harvey's side. No more chances for him. He did not want to be present in their midst and accepted the scorn of the defeat of Harvey.

"I think I saw Kendra deh, Ra," whispered Hera. It was only Hera that he trusted to share his feelings.

"Where?" Maura's head who had been looking down at the cellphone, immediately lifted up and turned to the right and left looking for the figure of the man she had been waiting for since yesterday."

"Where are you going?" Harvey's hand held him to stay seated next to the man.

"You peed!" Maura darted towards the tree pointed at by Hera.

"Ken ... Kendra!" call Maura with a loud breath. Kendra took a breath and tried to calm herself down, then turned around and smiled.

"What's up, Maura?"

"Where have you been? Why isn't my message answered?" Maura flocked him with a question that sounded more like sulking.
