Help out! I Want Skinny

Help out! I Want Skinny
Part 18's. Lyra's Lies

Marisa was conscious when Samuel came. He didn't think Samuel would find him in the hospital.

"Comma, how are you?" ask Samuel.

"Not good enough. How do you know I'm here?" marisa said weakly on the bed.

"A nurse told me on the phone. What's going on?"

Marisa smiled bitterly. "Calling on the street, then I hit the stall."

"Are you sick?"

"Hatiku-eh, I mean my chest and head."

"Have you contacted Arjun?"

Marisa shakes.

"Why? You should have called your family."

"I don't want them to worry."

"How come they're not worried if you haven't come home yet?"

"Nobody's home, Sam. The kids go to my in-laws every weekend, and Arjun is out of town. He hasn't even contacted me in a month. I can take care of myself" Marisa explained.

Samuel's forehead frowned at Marisa's explanation. "You may lose short-term memory when you hit your head" Samuel says.

"Huh? No. gabe. I'm not concussion. It's not that bad, Sam," argued Marisa.

"You sure your husband never called you again?"

Marisa nodded.

'Abviously, when Lyra said she was in a hurry to go home because she got a call from her husband. Even I think they had a fight on the phone so Marisa had an accident, ' Samuel thought.

"Sam, why dumbass?" reprimand Marisa saw her best friend staring blankly at her.

"A-a-I just wanted to have a little test on you. If your answer is wrong then you should do a head-scan" challenge Samuel.

"Please" said Marisa.

"alright. You have to answer some of my questions correctly and quickly. Ready it?"

Marisa raised her thumb.

"What's your first child's name?"

"People."

"Second child?

"Bianca."

"Weight?"

"Sixty two."

"Your accident location?"

"Kartini Street."

"Your abode?"

"Acquired."

"Where is your husband now?"

"Jambi."

"Today is there anything special?"

"Sure, your birthday."

"What gift did you buy?"

"Redvelvet cake."

"Color box?"

"Black."

"Hour arrival home?"

"Seven."

"The color of the shoes you wear when they come?"

"White."

"The reason you left the house?"

"Diusir Lyra."

Marisa reflexively closes her mouth with her hands. Both were shocked and silent. The mood turned tense.

"You set me up, Sam," said Marisa.

Samuel sighing. "I'm sorry, Ca. Can you please tell me what's going on?"

Marisa threw her face to the side and shed tears.

Seeing Marisa unmoved, Samuel also realized that now is not the right time to ask her about it. Whatever had happened, it was clear Lyra had said something bad that left Marisa so hurt. Samuel knew Marisa well. The woman does not cry easily for trivial reasons. Samuel then let Marisa rest while he took care of the hospital administration and police reports.

The next morning Marisa forced herself out of the hospital and went home.

"Bang Arjun can be annoyed if he knows the condition of his car is damaged like this. I have to take him to the workshop." Marisa told Samuel when she was going to the workshop.

"I thought he would worry more about his wife than that car" Samuel said.

"Whoa. Nonsense," said Marisa. "Originally you know Sam, all this time I've been getting messages from that Karmila guy. She confesses that they are dating and Bang Arjun is about to marry her. I don't know where that woman got my number. It seems we'll get divorced even if I get skinny again. I just want to give up on this diet. There's no point in continuing" he continued.

"At least you should continue for yourself. Go spirit!" said Samuel.

"Nr ...."

"Yes?"

"I think I've been troubling you a lot."

"How troublesome?"

"Take care of my diet. Calling in the morning just makes sure my breakfast menu is animal protein. Reminds me to drink three glasses of water in the morning and evening. Even in the midst of your busy work, you take the time to accompany me to exercise," said Marisa with a mountain of guilt.

"You speak as if I were a stranger" said Samuel sadly. "In mutual support is common so there is no need among us to feel a burden" he added.

If Samuel had said so, then Marisa was powerless to argue.

"Sammy ...!" lyra exclaimed as she opened the door to Samuel's study. Behind him followed Nia-secretary Samuel with a tense face.

Samuel who was struggling in front of the laptop seemed distracted.

"Sorry, Sir. I've told Miss this that you don't want to receive guests, but she just barged in" said Nia.

Samuel nodded. "Go back to your place, Nia" Samuel commanded.

"Well, sir," answered Nia as she passed with her head bowed.

Lyra stared at Nia's departure with a cynical look and a triumphant smile.

"You'd better fire your secretary. I can recommend a suitable friend as his replacement" suggested Lyra walking up to Samuel.

"Am I asking for your opinion?" samuel asked with an ice-cold face.

"Sorry," said Lyra clumsily.

"Tell me what your arrival means" Samuel said as he continued typing on his laptop.

"Sam, I called repeatedly, but why is there no response from you?"

"I'm doing a lot of work" Samuel answered briefly.

Lyra snorted in annoyance. "Then I will wait for you here until the hour of your office" Lyra said as she threw herself in Samuel's front seat.

Samuel's jaw muscles tighten. He grabbed the phone and talked to Nia. "Nia, please make an appointment with the Imperial Hotel. Tell me in an hour I want to meet with Manager Faisal."

"Well, sir," said Nia across the phone.

"Sorry, Lyra. I had to get ready to meet someone" said Samuel, who immediately got up from his chair.

"Wait, Sam. I just came but you're leaving. You don't appreciate me, do you?" lyra's whining was Samuel's hand.

"Nobody told you to come here, right? Besides, my secretary told you that I'm not taking guests."

"It looks like you made a sudden promise to get rid of me" Lyra accused.

"Smart girl. It's good that you understand."

"You're going too far, Sam! How can you kick your friend out?" hardik Lyra's.

"I want to ask you the same question. How can you throw my best friend out of my own house?"

"A-a-what did Marisa tell you? He's lying, Sam. How could I dare to do that," Lyra said stammeringly.

Samuel raised one eyebrow. "You yourself have admitted it."

"You mean?" ask Lyra wonder.

"Ck, is it only Marisa my best friend who has ever come to the house and met you? I didn't even mention a name, but you pointed straight at Marisa."

Lyra's face flushed. "It was just a misunderstanding, nor was I serious at the time" elak Lyra.

Samuel grabbed Lyra's arm. "You should be careful with what you say. Your tongue almost killed Marisa. That night he had an accident on the road after coming home from my house. If you don't remember the good relationship with Brandon, maybe now just look at your face I don't want to," he said sharply.

Lyra's tears are dripping. "You can't blame me for the accident. It could be that she was a bad driver or was sleepy at that time or had a fight with her husband and was driving drunk" she said in a trembling voice.

"Get it out from before me!" furious Samuel. He took off his hand and walked to the door.

"It's not fair to me, Sam!" shout Lyra.

Samuel cut his ear and went out of the place.
