We sat in front of the class. Indira looked at me seriously, her face full of probing.
"So, you really see the other me?" He started talking after a few minutes of silence looking at me.
I nodded steadily to make sure that I wasn't lying.
"Okay, I'll tell you the same story, what happened a year ago."
"The incident a year ago?" I raised my eyebrows.
"I actually have a pair of twins." His eyes glared as if reminiscing about his past.
I'm glaring. "Sodara twins?"
Indira nodded slowly. Then he continued to tell stories. "Name as Indrika, Indrika Gemini. He's friendly, kind, polite. A lot of people like it. But one day, he suddenly disappeared. No one knows where he went. Our parents have been looking for him everywhere. But there's no result. Not even the police managed to find him. Including me too. I didn't know he was alive or ..." Indira did not continue her words. Tears fell down her cheeks.
I also feel the sadness in nature. For a moment I remembered something. The necklace!!! I took the necklace out from under my shirt, because after cleaning yesterday the necklace I immediately put on.
"Is this necklace owned by Irrika?" my ask shows me the necklace.
Indira looked at the necklace for a moment. "Yes right. It does have an iron. Look it! Our necklace couple-an." Indira pulled out her necklace.
It's exactly the same. I should have felt like I've seen that necklace. It was Indira who was wearing it.
"Where is this necklace?"
I saw Indira's eyes twinkling. There was a glimmer of hope in his eyes to find his twin brother back.
"By the side of the road, when I'm coming home."
"Let's go home to school please take me there, yes," he asked.
I just nodded, come to think of it I think Indrika is dead-maybe.
"Ra, if I think the truth is, Indrika's still alive that's a very small possibility." I tell you what's on my mind.
"You mean?" Indira still doesn't understand what I mean.
"So gini, Ra. All this time the irka always haunts me. That's why I think Indrika is dead. And if I think it's his spirit, maybe there's something he wants to say."
I thought Indira would be angry at my words. But, he just lowered his head in a doldrums. "Lo's right, Via. That incident happened a year ago anyway. Maybe it's time. I have to investigate the case of Indrika back." Then he looked up. "Lo want to come help me?"
Of course I want to. I love the smell of mystery. It will look like a detective. Definitely exciting! Indira smiled seeing my nod.
The Chemistry lab room was filled with A1 grade students. Yeap, we are in this room because we are going to do prektek: classification of the flame reaction of alkali metals and alkaline earths. At first our activities went well and smoothly, until suddenly Tara the strange girl was screaming in pain. I don't know what the cause is.
"Everything's fast we need to get out of this lab!" he shouted while holding his head like a possessed person. Red eyes.
All the students panicked and rushed out. A few seconds later, an explosion was heard from the lab. Everyone who witnessed the incident with their mouths open. Including myself. I really see everything with my own eyes. It turns out that the rumors Indira told were true. All the students turned their eyes to Tara. They whispered and looked at each other cynically. I saw the girl looking down in fear. Fear blamed-maybe. They should all be grateful, because Tara saved our lives anyway. There were various questions about Tara in my mind.
Our chemistry teacher concluded that the explosion occurred due to one of the spilled chemical solutions and coalesced with another solution which, if put together, would cause a gas. Thankfully, there were no sparks. If so, maybe this lab room has been devoured by fire. Fortunately, we quickly got out. If not, maybe we will all go to the hospital for inhaling toxic gases that could endanger our lives.
"Eh, guys, look at the jinxed passing by," taunted Dzihan to a colleague I know named Elmira, who was sitting on the table as Tara passed by in front of her.
But Tara ignored her words and continued walking towards her seat beside me.
Suddenly Dzihan and Elmira approached Tara, and kicked our table. So that makes me jump in shock.
"If people say 'tuh dengerin! Don't play through!" snapped with glaring eyes.
I saw Tara just shut up and looked down. He didn't respond to anything at all. I feel sorry to see him continue in the bully like that.
"Lo budeg or mute, anyway?" ask Dzihan loud.
"Or don't-don't lo .." said Elmira.
Before they continue their actions. I stopped him immediately. "Enough, already! You guys can't, anyway, not bully Tara? Does Tara have any fault with you?"
"Listen, yes, new boy! We have nothing to do with you" said Dzihan presumptuously.
Just contact with all that made the students in my class turn their eyes towards us.
Before I was about to reply, suddenly Mr. Ikhsan came in.
"Good day, kids" he said as he entered class.
The children ran to their seats, including Dzihan and Elmira who had not solved the problem with me.
I sat down lethargic, rethinking the incident that had made me dizzy.
