Today is the hardest day of my life. The day I left my old home and school.
I was forced to move, because Dad was transferred out of town. In order to maintain the harmony of our family, Mom and I will come with you.
I looked at the house from the car window for the last time. It was so hard to leave the house we have lived in for so many years. The most beautiful memories in it will never be forgotten. The sound of the car engine started, slowly driving away from the house.
"Later you will be enrolled in Harapan Bangsa High School. You must like it. The school is also good" said Dad suddenly. Every now and then I see the rearview mirror pointed at my face. "Including favorite schools, you know," he added.
I know I don't like this transfer plan. That's why he kept entertaining me. Still, it doesn't make me feel better at all. I hate having to part with my friends.
Just pensive and enjoying the view along the way. That's what I'm doing. It turns out this town isn't as bad as I had in mind. The area is still a lot of pesawahan and mountains. The cool air in this morning made me comfortable and finally unable to resist sleepiness, until finally falling asleep completely forgetting my sadness.
We didn't feel like we were even in a new house.
"Maham ..." I yawned wide. Relax my muscles. It feels like this body aches because it sleeps while sitting too long.
I helped bring our things into the house. When I'm gonna get the suitcase in the car. I saw a girl who was quite tall, thin, with long hair dangling that almost covered her face. Just leaving a gap in the middle of the face is like a gap of curtains to peek. I was secretly surprised to realize his presence. He was standing in front of the house next to my new house. Maybe it was my new neighbor, I thought. But the longer he looked at me, the worse I felt. I had to speed up my movements.
"Via, what's wrong with you, baby?" mother asked, looking strangely at me.
"Geez, I scared Via, ah."
"Fear? What's the matter, honey?" I can't possibly tell Mom. Mama might even tease me.
"It's okay, Mom."
I rushed straight into the house. Hope this day is over soon.
I was getting tired of the activities I was doing. Now I busied myself by letting my eyes look at the afternoon atmosphere in my new room. My beautiful brown eyes were busy observing the sunlight coming through my window glass. The light of infinity was getting thinner and more turned into night.
After looking at the light, I decided to take a peek at the house next to me. Because my window is directly facing the house. I was shocked to see the girl next to the house. I quickly closed the curtains. Then throw yourself in the bed. Just the first day, I didn't feel right.
