Dinner Together

"Just say if you need anything, there's no need to hesitate. You are my guests here." Velix started the conversation at dinner.

"I don't think we need anything else, because the food is so good. Did your wife cook it, sir? Wandy asked Velix.

"You're right, my wife cooked it for you. Thank goodness you guys like it." Answer Velix.

"Wahh, I think with this delicious food every day, you will probably eat at home very often." Ask Wandy.

Velix just smiled without answering Wandy's question.

"How about you Jesi, does my wife's cooking suit you." Tanya Velix switched the conversation.

"Emm. This is so delicious, thank you, Madam Mey. Your cooking is truly unmatched." Jesi replied a little nervously.

"Ahhh. Thank ye. I'm glad I could cook for you." Mey replied kindly with a smile.

"Stay in our house while we're here." Velix said to Wandy.

Wandy and Jesi are slightly surprised by Velix's request. Where could they possibly stay in this house with Velix.

"Ohh, thank you Mr. Velix, your goodwill is greatly appreciated. But we don't want to trouble you any more. This alone is more than enough." Wandy refused.

"I'd be very happy if you accepted my offer. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of company stuff I want to talk to you about. If you live in my house, then our time for discussion will be more." Reply Velix a little forcefully.

"We are only your subordinates sir, please don't behave as we do. If you need, we can meet you anytime you want. But allow us to find another place to stay while here." Answer Wandy.

"No need sir, sir there is no need to prepare a room for the two of us. We have been looking for a hotel not far from the company. So we can make sure you won't have a hard time finding us." Answer Jesi a little firmly.

"Alright if it's what you want." Replied Velix was slightly touched by the look on Jesi's face that was a little firm when she refused his request.

"Thank you for your understanding." Answer Jesi.

After finishing dinner, Velix takes Wandy and Jesi to the living room. While Mey stays at the dinner table cleaning up the dirty dishes that are strewn across the table.

"What about your relationship. Is it okay?" Tanya Velix opened the conversation.

"Shouldn't we just talk about work?" Tanya Wandy switched the conversation.

"Jes, you're back as his secretary. Is your vision okay.?" Velix asked as if he did not heed Wandy's words.

"Very good, thank you for all my treatment." Jesi replied trying to be ordinary.

"It's my duty, you don't have to thank me." Answer Velix.

"Hey hey, you guys are busy reuniting and forgetting where I am here? I think we should go now. We just arrived, and we're still very tired. We still have to find a hotel to stay. So, the meeting can continue tomorrow morning at the office only. Isn't that so, Mr Velix?" Wandy replied arriving.

Velix fell silent and only slightly nodded his head. Velix wants to talk a lot with Jesi. But he realized it was still not right.
