MARY'S DEFEAT

Lazarus entered his room, immediately calling Timothy his second confidant.

"Yes sir."

"Gather all the documents about Vincent and all of Marry's family. Contact all Board of Directors. Tomorrow we'll have a special meeting."

"Good sir."

"How's Albert? Is he back?"

"Not Mr."

"Hem, bring Irene here from my secret house. I want to ask you about Vincent's whereabouts. Looks like Vincent had someone take Evelyn."

"Why are you sure it was Mr Vincent's doing?"

"Only she and Marry knew about Michelle's secret, even though Irene knew she was in my cage, so there was no way she was."

Timothy nodded in agreement, his master's words were very reasonable.

Albert came back empty-handed, he didn't even get a clue. Even David's surviving kidnappers wouldn't open his mouth at all. They just say they're hired criminals and don't know who told them.

The next day at the Lazarus Company immediately presided over a closed special meeting. All Board of Directors were present at the meeting. Except Vincent and Marry. Marry was detained in Lazarus' office as he was about to break into the meeting room.

Lazarus stared one at a time at Marry's family. There was Uncle Marry, his older brother and also his cousin.

In the past Lazarus may have pretended to be polite to them but today Lazarus will not hesitate to anyone.

"Albert, open the meeting!"

Albert then begins to discuss documents about Vincent's crimes and the embezzlement of the Company's funds that Vincent did assisted all of Marry's family.

"You're all fired, pack your things. If you refuse, I'll follow up on embezzling the Company's funds. Your shares have been given to me, you have no authority in the Company anymore."

All the Marries received it, Lazarus had promised them they would not bring it to the law if they complied.

Marry managed to get out of Lazarus' office, he kicked the door to the meeting room.

"Lazarus! Open it!"

Lazarus looked at everyone who was there with his sharp eyes. "Remember, if you still want to be in the Company. Don't follow their wrong path. Now disperse!"

As soon as one by one out of the room, Marry was left staring angrily at Lazarus.

Lazarus was relaxed, leaning his body against the back of the chair, stacking his legs together and folding his hands on his chest.

"It seems you're being honest with what you're saying, you don't know anything about Vincent right now."

"What do you mean?!"

"Vincent is now an international fugitive. He's being chased by Interpol, he's done."

"You lied! My son did nothing wrong!"

When Marry heard that Vincent had committed no crime. Lazarus kicked the table in anger.

"You really don't know how ashamed Marry is! I already know everything about your kidnapping of Angela, and about you sending Angela as Kristine! Everyone, you and your son have always been spying on me and spreading lies about me to make Angela hate me! You even killed my son while in the womb, also made my daughter Samantha sick!"

Marry retreated not expecting Lazarus to know everything. He retreated in fear, trying to escape from there but Albert blocked him.

"Guards!" Marry shouted to his personal bodyguard. But there's no answer.

They were all killed by Lazarus' guards.

Marry's getting scared.

Lazarus got up from his seat, he walked slowly staring hatefully at Marry.

"Mary! You want to give up and admit to all your crimes and go to jail or you still don't want to confess. But remember when you don't confess, I'll punish you, I'll torture you to death! Now Vincent can't even help you!"

"Vincent even committed an illegal crime by selling human organs! You think Vincent will survive being caught! Nah! He'll be sentenced to death in prison!"

Marry shook his head, "No! Lazarus. I'm sorry and Vincent, I beg you. For your sister Amanda, what about her?"

"Don't make Amanda a tool to negotiate with me! I love him like my own brother! You don't deserve to be his mother! If you still want Amanda's life to be okay, repent!"

"Don't think of asking my father for help. My father won't be able to help you, he already knows you killed Sheril's mother's son and even gave her medicine so that Sheril's mother can't conceive anymore. You know my dad loves Sheril's mother so much, it's just that my dad's been closing his eyes to your evil deeds. But when I gave you the criminal documents about Vincent's illegal activities, my father gave everything to me to punish you and Vincent!"

Marry collapsed, crying on the floor accepting his defeat.

"Albert! Take him to the police station! But stop the reporters from knowing!"

Albert took Marry to the police station, with all the evidence of his crimes.
