As Lazarus was about to walk up to Sean and Angela, David suddenly blocked his arm.
"Sorry sir, I forgot to say something."
"Say."
David lowered his voice so that no one could hear him other than the two of them.
"Michelle called several times with a guy named Elisha who was here and be careful with Berta Michelle's assistant. The last time Michelle met me before her death, her assistant didn't come. Whereas normally he was always next to Michelle, I just felt a little strange."
Lazarus nodded, "Thank you. I appreciated. David, here's my cell phone number if you ever need it don't hesitate to call me."
David took a special business card from Lazarus and kept it.
Lazarus then walked towards Sean and held his hand. "Come on."
Sean followed his father away but he kept stealing glances at Evelyn.
Evelyn smiled as she waved her hand at Sean.
Sean finally ventured to avenge Evelyn's hand.
Angela just smiled anxiously at her Son's interaction with Evelyn, her son turned out to be so sweet.
All the funeral processions were finally finished, all who came to say goodbye to Michelle went one by one.
Except for Michelle's family, Rose Michelle's mother and Michelle Jeremy's father and Michelle's older brothers. They deliberately stayed in the Main residence to talk with Abraham and Lazarus.
Everyone in the living room sat on the sofa and was immersed in their own thoughts and anger. Except for Abraham sitting in his wheelchair with his face flat.
"Father-in-law.I once again want to apologize to you and all of Michelle's family. I as a husband can't protect him." Lazarus is down, he doesn't want to talk like he shouldn't.
"yeah! You still dare to apologize to me! I used to marry my daughter not only because you were Abraham's son but also because my daughter asked to marry you because Michelle said she liked you so much. I love you even more and always boast of you than all of my sons. But look what you did to my only daughter!" Jeremy stood up and pointed at Lazarus.
"When you found out you brought another woman and even had an illegitimate child from her, I could still accept it because Michelle said it was her request to bring her to your house, he said he couldn't give you a son your father wanted!"
Jeremy walked towards Berta, he took a map containing photos lately of the togetherness of Lazarus and Kristine who often spent time together even every night Lazarus was in Kristine's room.
"Look at your behavior! You're still even playing with a waiter and Berta said when Michelle asked you not to be with that waitress, you kicked Michelle out!" Jeremy rampages, throwing the contents in the map to the table makes the contents scatter.
Lazarus had expected this to happen, but he could not bear to expose Michelle's secret. Thinking of Evelyn as a child and her safety makes her keep her mouth shut about Michelle's secret. Jeremy is the type of man like his father Abraham, who cannot tolerate having his family name tarnished.
"How are you going to account for my daughter's death. Berta even said Michelle was depressed and was suicidal. It might even be his car accident, you're the one who engineered it to get rid of my daughter! Berta said Michelle refused a divorce, so you must have planned to kill my daughter!"
Abraham still listened silently to his ex-wife talk.
Lazarus eventually answered the former father-in-law's accusation.
"Father-in-law, I confess my affair. I also admitted wanting to divorce Michelle but the rest of your accusations against me are false. All those charges you have to prove, let alone about Michelle's accident. Prove it all, then I won't dodge it."
Jeremy's chest and kembis held back anger, as did Michelle's older brothers. Rose Michelle's mother simply bowed in tears over her only beloved daughter.
Albert wanted to come forward to defend his Master and would say if Michelle also betrayed her Master. But Lazarus knew and shook his head, stopping his actions.
"If it's over, I'm gone. If you want to accuse me, bring the evidence before me. I'll still respect you as Michelle's family."
Then Lazarus went out of the room, leaving all those who were still holding their anger against him.
