Chapter 2 - One Year After a Zombie Hits

Takashi tried to survive alone. He also ignored all the sounds of screaming and roars that came in turn.

Headphones installed by Takashi. He tried hard to eliminate fear and panic.

If you have a family, maybe the main thing that comes to Takashi's mind is to go home. But whatever the power, he's just an orphan. Since childhood Takashi never saw the appearance of his father and mother. He lived in an orphanage for a long time.

"I'm curious about the situation outside" Takashi murmured. He went up to the second floor. There he could see the situation outside. The atmosphere is very quiet.

There were only a few humans who had turned into zombies. The road also looks dirty. Lots of blood, pieces of the human body, and flies that enjoy rotten meat.

Takashi grunts violently. He decided to stay hidden. He has plenty of food supplies. Takashi intends to hide until the food in the mini market runs out.

Takashi is an introvert. So you could say he enjoys his solitude in the mini market. All Takashi has to worry about is the zombie attack. But he is not too worried about it, because Takashi believes the mini market he occupies is quite safe.

Two months of time passed. The existence of zombies is increasing. Makes Takashi even more sure to stay hidden.

Zombies around the mini market are also starting a lot. Takashi sometimes surprised. Where did the zombies come from.

Takashi also never miss checking the internet and radio. I wish there was a safe place to be. But until now, internet and radio connections still could not be found. Electric power is even starting to decline.

Two months turned into a year. Takashi's food supply is running low. The man has also shaved his mustache and beard dozens of times.

Takashi settles into the bed where he used to sleep. Only by sneezing the light of a sleeping lamp, he can sleep comfortably.

Takashi usually sleeps long enough. When the time showed nine o'clock in the afternoon passed, then he woke up. It is also because of the hungry stomach.

Takashi gets out of bed. Then look for food that can be eaten. He was immediately made to panic when he realized there were only two packs of edible food left. It was just a small snack.

"Ah... It's because I'm too lazy to check the food supply" Takashi muttered as he scratched his head repeatedly. He had to eat the food. Takashi intends to come out of hiding to find food. Or you need to move to a more promising place.

Before leaving, Takashi prepared a weapon first. He broke the broom and took his stick. At the end of the stick, Takashi put a sharp knife there. He made a spear-like weapon that could be used against zombies.

The plan to exit the mini market was carried out by Takashi at night. He deliberately did so in order to hide easily. Though he knew that the zombies will be more fierce when the night goes on. They run twice as fast as ordinary humans.

Takashi decided through the side door. He looked to the right and left. There are only two zombies on the right. However, Takashi must be careful. Remembering zombies will soon be clustered if you hear a little sound.

With a slow move, Takashi exited the mini market. He closed the door very slowly. There was no sound heard by the door.

Takashi's att.i.tude is not distracted from the two zombies who happen to be standing on their backs. He walked to a more closed place.

Takashi happens to wear advanced glasses. Using that, he did not need a streetlight in the form of a lamp. It's just that Takashi does not know until when the glasses battery can last. Hopefully until he finds a new safe place.

Cars scattered in all directions, made Takashi as a hiding place. He would walk from one car to another.

Sweat drenched Takashi's face. Especially when he watched the streets that he was about to walk through were filled with zombies.

The zombies seemed to be walking in groups towards him. It must be a difficult situation to pass.

"Rprrrr..." The zombies are approaching. Takashi rushed to hide under the car. He smothered his mouth with his own hands.

There was a scream. Accompanied by a call from another girl. The zombies that heard, rushed over to the source of the sound.
