Chapter 12 - Meet Acquaintances

Takashi traced the nearby building. He, Nana, and Yuki split up to find the owner of the previously discovered boots. Blood drops from the shoe itself are seen leading into the building. But it disappeared around the entrance.

Takashi climbed the stairs to the second floor. While passing through a room, one zombie suddenly appeared. He snarled and attacked.

With a quick movement, Takashi slammed the knife into the zombie's stomach. Then pull it until the zombie's stomach is torn and remove the organs that rot.

Srak!

Even so, the zombies that Takashi attacked were not dead yet. Takashi then again threw a knife into the zombie head. That was when the skinny-looking zombie fell to the floor.

"Ughhh!" Takashi grimaced in disdain when he saw his clothes being stained with zombie blood. "I seem to have to loot clothes and weapons" he murmured. He immediately continued the search.

Takashi explores every room. But he and the others had not yet managed to find someone. They gathered on the balcony to rest.

"I'm sure the owner of the shoe is still around here" Nana said, using a pair of binoculars. Observe the state of the surrounding environment from the balcony.

Yuki and Takashi just kept quiet. Yuki looks busy checking her backpack. He picked up a packet of food and sat down next to Takashi.

"It can make you tired." Yuki offered her food to Takashi.

"Thank you, Yuki." Takashi receives Yuki's food. He opened it and ate it.

"If all this hadn't happened, what would you have planned for your life?" ask Yuki.

"Eitherway. I was pretty stupid when I was in school. You you? You seem like a college kid?" Takashi looked at Yuki with the corner of his eyes.

"You're wrong." Yuki chuckles. "I cannot continue my education because of financial constraints. In one day, I had two part-time jobs at once" he said.

Yuki then nudged with her elbow. "Don't be loud. Nana is a rich boy. He had a very hard time adapting to the current situation," his great-grandson glanced at Nana who was still busy using binoculars.

"It's just worth it." Takashi nodded. Given that Nana has a more spoiled nature than Yuki.

"Aaaark!!!" suddenly there was a scream from the roof of the building. A girl was seen hanging there. While on the roof there are zombies trying to attack him. The girl's life is under threat.

Without a second thought, Takashi, Yuki, and Nana rushed upstairs. They were trying to help the girl in trouble.

Arriving at the rooftop, Takashi and the others saw five zombies. In addition to seeing the zombies, Takashi also managed to watch the pile of weapons in a large box. He hurriedly approached the box. Then take one of the weapons. Takashi chose a crossbow or crossbow that works like archery.

"Save the girl! Let me take care of these zombies!" takashi Letah. He instantly floated arrows at the zombies in turn.

Takashi used the crossbow very skillfully. He can launch arrows right on target into the heads of the zombies.

After subverting the five zombies, Takashi rushed over to the girl who was about to fall earlier. The girl has been rescued by Yuki and Nana. He sat on the floor, breathing.

Takashi squinted his eyes. Because he felt that he recognized the girl who looked overwhelmed. When the girl looked up, she also felt the same way as Takashi.

"Takashi?" said the girl. He can recognize Takashi.

"Sakura?" reply Takashi. He must have recognized the girl who had been his neighbor.

Takashi forced himself to smile. His attic was fixed onto the boots lying on the floor. Obviously the shoes were a pair of shoes that he had found a while ago.

The apparent reality made Takashi sigh violently. How not? Instead of finding a man other than himself, Takashi meets another girl who was his neighbor first.
