CHAPTER 40

The morning before Desta was now even seen to have no spirit anymore after he heard very clearly that Selena would take one kidney for her sister, Elsa. Makes the woman feel that she must be careful with her adoptive mother from now on.

"Des, I've seen you since daydreaming?" asked Selena who looks like she just came from the kitchen to bring her favorite daughter's Desta pudding.

"Your sister's still sleeping, so Mom took the time to make pudding for you, baby. Now let's eat, but before that you have breakfast." Selena put the pudding right near Desta. "Eating yes, because Mother made it special for you," continued the middle-aged woman.

Desta who felt he had to be vigilant with whatever food Selena gave, considering that her biological mother would definitely put her sleeping pills as before. Making it from today must be remembered and alert.

"Gee!" yelling Desta who again pretends antusis. "The shape alone is very beautiful Mom, it must also taste very good for sure." Desta moved the pudding closer to her. Desta was also seen just leaving from there carrying the pudding in his hand because he somehow wanted to make sure whether the pudding was safe or contained sleeping pills. "What help? How come you have asked for my help." The doctor smiled as he chimed in on Desta. "Hey, what kind of help? Even daydream." Sean, who turns out to be Desta's friend pokes the woman's arm.

Desta just took out a piece of pudding that the woman had brought from her house.

"Thank you, you know that right now I'm going to eat the pudding" chirped Sean who instead looks like he's going to take the pudding. "Here, let me eat it straight away. I think it's a really good pudding."

Desta immediately brushed Sean's hand away at that very moment. "Eh, no! It's not for you." Desta was seen keeping the pudding away from the doctor.

"Since when did the Desta I know become this stingy?" sean asked with raised eyebrows. "It's just a piece of pudding instead of meat, Desta …."

Desta shook his head very strongly. "Just because this is a piece of pudding, then I'll ask you for help Se–"

"I can't make a pudding, if you want to ask me for help with that," Sean said quickly. "Again, I'm sorry I couldn't help you with the pudding."

"Listen to me first!" Desta pulled Sean's shirt. "I want you to check this pudding into the lab because I thought if only the pudding wanted to contain a very different substance. Because I saw the lizard who just licked it manti," said Desta who is currently lying.
