“Fuuh, now much cleaner.” (Mari)
I for some reason keep cleaning the 2nd Floor.
I felt bad for Grapefull— that was the reason at first, but I felt the achievement from seeing the Dungeon become cleaner.
I have gained quite a good understanding of the structure of the Hungry Beasts Dungeon which is the 2nd Floor Dungeon.
The 2nd floor was quite spacious, but even without a map, I would not be lost.
Large rooms where groups of monsters camped, places that had clean water that could be used to wash themselves, and there were even places like parks that were most likely treated like outside of a prison; I would say that, at least, it was as big as the 1st Floor.
Cleaning something big is close to being in the realm of hobbies. The contents of the Shadow Bag did not become a mess, and I could arrange the items inside one by one. When it became full to some extent, I would throw it into a small room on the 2nd Floor that was well accessible.
I don't really know where to throw it, and the priority here is to avoid getting the Beastkin cat unharmed.
With all this storage and release, the level of the shadow bag increased.
I think I've seen about every monster that appears here as well.
The small humanoid seemed to be called a goblin.
A monster that is half human and half dog is called a kobold.
The big guys holding the sticks are giants.
A large monster that was half human and half pig was an orc.
Those are all names I've heard somewhere before, but this might just be a translation that works here. Localized translations depending on which part of the Earth people watch are something that happens a lot.
On the other hand, I had no way of learning about what names were before they were localized in their otherworldly language. Automatic translations are very convenient, but everything that is translated without my input makes it impossible for me to learn the original words.
If the automatic translation disappears at the will of the Gods, we will be suddenly thrown into the situation of the Tower of Babel where a man who does not understand the language at all will appear.
…Well, with my current lifestyle, it might not bother me too much.
By the way, the strongest ones were not orcs or ogres, but dangerous people who appeared alone.
I only saw him twice.
(It seems like today there is no.) (Hikaru).
No dead body is a good thing, but it's interfering with my livelihood.
In the end, I might have no choice but to fight monsters, but at least I want to wait until my attention wanes and my existence is forgotten.
The other Chosen may lead a stimulating lifestyle and adventure to gather viewers.
With that, even if I fought a little against monsters, no one would notice me.
…That's how it works. I'm sure.
That's why, until then, let's continue this lifestyle.
(......Hm? Is there a door in a place like this?) (Mari)
As I moved around the darkness on the 2nd Floor as usual, a dim shining door suddenly appeared in front of me.
Dungeon Hungry Beasts were literally gigantic prisons, and there were a number of small rooms that had no iron bars, but no doors.
At least not as far as I can see.
But a strange door that was shining suddenly appeared.
(What is this.?) (Mari)
A mystery.
It's incredibly suspicious.
But I felt it would be a waste to ignore him.
This is a strange door, but I want to open it.
(...Let's use.) (Mari)
After using the potion in Grapefull, I began to feel it was okay to use the Crystal once in a while.
The number of spectators decreased slowly but surely. It makes my heart a little lighter.
I have erased this existence from within me and made sure I never saw it.
I used 1 Crystal and did the Appraisal Item on the door.
It was a gamble whether the door was an item or not, but it went well.
[Harehouse Door: A door arranged to reward explorers favored by the Holy Beast, Lilimuph. Only the one who is given the gift can see it and can enter. When you take the jewel ball from the inside and leave, the door will disappear. Giving away the gem would anger the Divine Beast. Please be careful with this.]
“So this is what he meant by treasure!” (Mari)
Which Lynx Grapefull told me a while back.
I thought for sure it would be a treasure box lying somewhere, but it didn't seem to work that way.
After seeing the explanation, I felt relieved and entered through the door.
The interior was a simple private space, and in the center was a fist-sized ball on top of the pedestal.
(i thought it would be like a gem, but .. it's more like a glass ball.) (Mari)
I can't say what's inside right now.
In other words, this alone should be a 'treasure box'. Looks like I can open it after I exit the dungeon.
"…That's great." (Mari)
For someone as poor as me, no matter what was inside, it was a treasure.
The saint beast probably gave me a gift after seeing me clear the dungeon.
I can't even imagine what would come out, but it would be nice if it made my life easier.
(This is a rare treasure event, so let's go now.) (Mari)
It's still morning, but I decided to leave the dungeon just once.
The stairs for the 1st Floor are nearby.
I want to see the inside quickly.
*kin!*
*Convinced!*
- "Run! All of you, run!”
Right after that I heard the clashing echoes of swords and desperate shouts.
— “Where is the smoke bomb?!”
— “The previous one was the last one!”
— “We also don't have Smell Bags! W-What should we do?!”
— *Kin!* *Clang!*
- "Come! Hurry along! I won't be able to last long!"
- "But…!"
The next second I thought of this, my feet headed to the location.
The 2nd floor was vast and complex, so I rarely found explorers fighting monsters.
Even if I did, I wouldn't get too close to them for fear of being found.
Darkness is powerful to hide, but it won't be of much use if it's found.
After all, my combat power was close to zero.
The reason why I headed to the location though was because their voices carried too much urgency.
I might be able to do something here, like time with Grapefull.
I'm weird for thinking about this naturally.
Even though I can't even do it for myself.
