Chapter 24: Return to the City

The next day....

Morning dew covers all corners of the forest. Along the stepping foot, it was very difficult to see the direction of the road with a pair of eyeballs. Emperor Quelle did this to avoid anything unwanted. Even so, the god energy that had spread was still inherent within Enzi's body. Only, the inherent god energy was inactive. It happened because there was no energy supply from Emperor Quelle's life energy crystal. Because of that factor, Enzi's legs felt so tired after being widely used by Emperor Quelle in searching for animal mounts that led to the formation of a new alliance between Emperor Quelle and the wolf valley.

Upon entering the capital, the townspeople continued to look at Enzi's entourage. Although in truth, what the townspeople saw were freight carts and mortuary carriages that they had never seen before.

The townspeople continued to stare at the two carriages without blinking.

"What is that thing?" the townspeople asked each other.

Some of them even guess. "I don't know, I just saw that thing. Is that the latest work from the kingdom of Agninusa?"

"I want to have it" said one resident.

The townspeople were not only stunned by the two chariots made by Emperor Quelle. There are some city girls who continue to bathe the face of Ghiwa and are stunned by his good looks.

"Who is that guy next to Enzi? He was very handsome" the city girls asked each other.

"I don't know, I just saw that handsome guy today" replied a girl.

Enzi's entourage continued to walk, until they arrived at Enzi's parents' house.

Simple house, with a building foundation made of wood.

There were footsteps coming from inside the house, and the door was opened, by a beautiful girl in brown skin. The beautiful girl was named Euis, the younger brother of Enzi.

The girl looked carefree, staring at the presence of the older brother standing before her.

"Mothers... Enzi's brother has come..." Euis called the mother who was on the move in the kitchen.

The mother ran over, welcoming the arrival of her son who had just returned from the Kingdom of Agninusa. The kingdom is located outside the island of Java.

The mother hugged Enzi tightly, then she opened her eyes, looking to the right and to the left. A few moments later he asked "Enzi, where is your father? Why don't you see her?"
