MC handed the mic to Zyta's grandfather.

"I think I'll get straight to the point. Tonight's event was held to replace the event that was supposed to be held 7 years ago,"

Grandpa looked up and smiled at Adam. Kane and Evan, who were behind Adam, looked at each other confused as if questioning the purpose of Grandpa's smile on Adam.

"My wife and I once promised to hold an engagement for our first granddaughter, Sherlyzyta. But, because the bride in question had to continue her education abroad so the show had to be pushed back very far," said the grandfather chuckled and embraced his wife's waist and handed the mic to Zyta's grandmother.

"So, instead. Tonight is the engagement of his successor 7 years ago" said the grandmother turned her head and asked Adam to take the stage.

Kane and Evan opened their mouths in disbelief. Is Zyta's grandmother crazy to hold an engagement event where the bride alone has not been found until now. Adam was still motionless, confused as to what to do.

Nirmala only smiled as they reached the stage.

"It's easy to find Zyta's whereabouts, son. And one thing you should remember. From now on you have to call me mother just like Zyta" said Nirmala smiling motherly and then took off the stage to her husband again and Adam's family were also smiling.

"alright. Since the groom is already here now when calling this wayward bride," joked the grandfather got the naughtiness of some of the invited guests.

Daria direction of the entrance of the house opened and showed a tall slender woman with a pastel-colored long-dress dressing with neatly-welded hair plus facial makeup that adds to her beauty.

All eyes were directed towards the woman who was the lead on the show tonight. Adam, Kane, and Evan are no exception to their vision.

Zyta walked towards the stage with a smile that did not fade from her lips. Zyta took the stage with the help of her grandfather and when her eyes accidentally looked at Adam, Zyta smiled.

Zyta missed Adam after 7 years of his disappearance. Grandfather handed back the mic he held to the MC and soon the MC took over the show.

Zyta kept smiling to take her nervousness away as Adam did not take his eyes off her.

The event continues until the exchange of rings. Zyta and Adam did it without any mistakes. They were silent without saying a word. They both did not know what to say while the elders in the family laughed at the behavior of two couples who were met after a long time.

After exchanging the rings, the pickle continued. Grandfather approached his granddaughter and future granddaughter then smiled ignorantly.

"Why just shut up? Don't you miss each other, "grandfather's tease with his piety makes the cheeks of two people fighting this type into a flushed talk.

Grandma nudges grandpa belly slowly.

"That's it. Let's go down" said the grandmother holding Zyta and Adam off the stage to the rest of the family.

Kane and Evan immediately lunged in Zyta's arms as they headed towards them.

"Lord!! I miss you, Zy,"

Zyta chuckled in response to Evan's statement.

"Hmmm.my life became lonely without you, my sister,"

Zyta did not know what to answer and just smiled.

"Why are you quiet? Did 7 years of not meeting make you mute?"

Zyta looked at Kane then hit his brother's arm tight making Kane immediately scream in pain while Evan only laughed to see his cousin's brother in pain and before long Evan also got a punch in the same arm as Kane. Kane was now the one laughing and Evan pursed his lips.

"Now you've been acting shitty, man,"

Kane and Evan went silent making Zyta stare at his two closest cousins confused.

Evan nodded his head in Kane's words. Zyta looked at her two cousins flatly.

"You think?" zyta's snort made Kane laugh too.

Adam was standing behind Zyta who was smiling. He did not expect after 7 years passed he again saw Zyta and heard his voice even he could touch Zyta's hand.

Adam turned his head when he felt his shoulder being patted by someone.

"Congratulations," said Alex.

Adam smiled a little and nodded his head. 7 years without feeling Adam was themed with Alex now. Adam doesn't remember the details but suddenly he and Alex are friends.

"ALEX!!!" zyta screams when she sees Alex.

Zyta approached Alex and grabbed Alex's hand.

"Alex you coming?" zyta said she did not expect Alex to come.

Alex smiled and nodded his head.

"Of course for my beautiful girl there's no reason for me not to attend her important event" Alex pinched Zyta's nose.

"Remove your hand from my brother" Kane said ahead of Adam, who was about to speak out.

Kane unleashes Alex's rough hand from Zyta's.

Alex snorted, "7 years passed but you're still mean to me,"

Kane clucked, "Of course. It's because I'm vengeful for you,"

And finally there was a useless fight from Alex and Kane. Zyta who saw him just chuckled amusedly. It seems that his 7 years of departure brought about a lot of change. Zyta is happy, at least his departure times has had an impact both for Kane and Alex.

"You still have an explanatory debt, said Zyta," whispered Adam right in Zyta's ear.

Zyta pegged and turned her head and smiled sideways.

"really?" reply Zyta whispered.

"Hm... Where have you been for 7 years,"

Zyta just kept silent and holding Adam's hand took the man away leaving the crowd of invited guests.

Zyta walked in the lead while Adam just silently let Zyta who wanted to take him somewhere. Adam wanted to enjoy his time with Zyta.

Adam frowned in confusion as Zyta walked leading him towards Zyta's study house.

"Why are we here?"

Zyta turned her head for a while and just smiled in response to Adam's question.

Adam further frowned and stopped his steps, making Zyta also stop his steps and turned and looked at Adam confused when they stayed up the stairs.

"Why are we here?" repeat Adam and again Zyta just smiled.

Zyta walked up to Adam and sat Adam on the stairs, and Zyta sat down next to him. They both fell silent. Adam who looked at Zyta waited for the woman in front of him to speak while Zyta closed his eyes to enjoy the breeze that hit the skin of his face.

"Why look at me like that?"

Adam shook his head not knowing. Adam's look was sweet and sad making Zyta smile. Zyta changed her seat to face Adam and cupped Adam's face which looked different from the last time she saw him.

Adam's face looked cleaner and more well-groomed than ever before. It must be the work of his cousin Kane until Adam looks different like this.

"What call should I give you?" zyta said to herself.

"Dear, maybe? Or my love?" adam answered Zyta's question.

Zyta chuckled and seemed to think and then brought her face closer to Adam.

"What if my husband?" zyta whispered right in Adam's ear.

"Good idea and I'll call you my wife" said Adam, putting away Zyta's face and also cupping Zyta's face.

Adam stroked the soft face of Zyta who felt smooth in his hands. Adam and Zyta just quietly enjoyed their touch with each other.
