Ghost Villa

Ghost Villa
ghost villa in pangandaran

It's nice that the holidays are filled with going to the beach with friends.

But it will be a deep trauma if you end up stuck in the wrong place and time.

Alena will tell her horror experience while on vacation in Pangandaran, Pangandaran,

“Lo denger gak?” Whisper Della slowly, while looking at me who was sitting next to her.

“Denger what?” My answer.

“His tv pen try bentar.” Della said again.

I followed his will, then shrink the volume of tv sound.

Then it was quiet, because a villa of this size only contained the two of us, she said,

“Ah, no noise Dellaaaaaa. Udah ah, again exciting this show.” I said when I turned down the volume of the tv but still did not hear any sound.

“So there's a sound, gw dread, now gone.” Answer Della..

Already at 11 pm, Devin and Bayu have not returned, last nine o'clock before leaving they say they want to go outside for a minute to find a drink.

Della's face still looks curious, it seems he was sure that he had heard a sound from the second floor, but it was not clear what sound it was.

I tried to pretend to ignore his attitude, until finally he also watched the television show that I watched.

What's on the second floor? What did Della hear?

I'm Alena. Della, Devin, and Bayu are my best friends, we have been friends since childhood, because we happened to live in a housing complex in Jakarta. It is not a coincidence that we become more familiar than other friends in residential housing, many similarities that we have, one of which is happy to go for a walk, adventure to a new place.

There have been many experiences that we went through together until we sat in college at this time. From the many experiences we have, there are spooky experiences that are still imprinted in the memory to this day.

That is a scary experience when staying at a villa in Pangandaran, West Java.

In mid-2016, coinciding with the holiday period, Devin had the idea to spend a few days in the beach area.

After the idea was thrown and berembuk, we agreed to make Pangandaran as the goal.

Pangandaran is famous as a tourist spot in the eastern tip of the southern part of West Java.

There is no need to doubt its beauty, a sloping beach without coral, its white sand stretches, what a perfect place to unwind tired escape from the stuffy metropolitan air.

“Naaahh, I've been browsing-browsing nih, there are large and beautiful villas, not expensive as well. Not on the beach really, you have to walk for a while if you want to go to the beach, but in front of the big river, back and forth there is a boat like to pass,” Once Devin said, at length he explained.

No need for a long and long discussion, we finally agreed to decide to vacation in Pangandaran for several days, will stay at the villa of choice Devin.

On Wednesday morning we left Jakarta.

The morning was bright and beautiful, the vehicle we were riding down the road leading to the south side of Java island.

This was our first trip to Pangandaran, so it was really a new place for us to visit, so we were really excited.

Joking and laughter off coloring the trip, the time span of eight hours so not felt, about three in the afternoon we finally arrived at the destination.

Arriving at the location, we just found out that the location of the villa was a little far from Pangandaran beach, we had to travel about an hour.

So, the location of the villa is closer to Batu Karas beach, and it is also true said Devin, the villa is right on the side of the river that is quite large, really facing the river.

Quite beautiful, although not a new building but this two-story villa is very clean and well maintained. High fences surrounded its vast territory, several large trees stood firmly in the front and back yards.

Right left of the villa there was only an empty land filled with wild trees, far away from other buildings.

Mr. Villa guard accompanied us around while explaining everything, Mr. Ilham his name.

Mr. Ilham does not live in a villa, but lives in his house not far from the villa location. He was assigned to care for and clean the villa by the owner.

“Pak Ilham why not stay here?” Tanya Bayu was curious.

“Kalo again there are no guests, sometimes stay here, but very rarely, because my house is near.” That's what Mr. Ilham replied.

“Trus at night, this villa is more often empty?” I chimed in.

“Iya neng, empty continues, but just calm, everything is clean and well maintained, hehe. If there's anything live my phone hp, 24 hours ready, hehe.” Answer Mr. Inspiration again.

True he said, this villa and its surroundings are clean and well maintained, almost no dust visible.

On the first floor there is one room, and one bathroom. The living room is large, extending into one with a dining table and kitchen.

Upstairs there are two rooms and one bathroom, there is a central room as well but it only contains a few chairs surrounding the rattan table.

Oh yes, on the top floor there is a front porch, very comfortable terrace, facing directly to the courtyard of the house and the big river in front.

The river that seems to include a tourist path, occasionally seen there is a small engine boat containing tourists.

“Oh it's a boat that runs into the grand canyon over there, nice place.” So said Mr. Ilham explained when we asked about the boat that passed in front of the villa.

Such is the picture of the villa we occupy, the plan we will stay until Sunday.

That's plan.

Quiet stream of river, with a background of blue starry sky without clouds. We enjoyed the first night on the top terrace.

Exciting conversations occasionally interspersed with laughter break the silence of the night in this rather remote place.

The melodious singing voice of Della who is a singer and accompanied by a Bayu guitar game, so the background adds cheerful atmosphere.

What a fun time.

“Ayok Bay, unplug ah, it's nine o'clock nih.” Suddenly Devin said so.

“You on where the hell?” My toot.

“Buy drinking in front for a while.” Bayu word chimed.

“Don't long ya lo on. I don't want to be with Alena alone here, the lonely crazy” Della followed a little nagging.

“Iyaaaa, aja kok, spoiled really.” Grunt Devin.

In short, the two of them ended up completely gone, leaving me and Della alone on the top porch.

That night, there was absolutely no boat passing by the river, unlike last afternoon, completely deserted and of course dark.

Fortunately, the light from the sky helps a little lighting, but still we can not see the surrounding river in detail.

After the death of Devin and Bayu, Della and I continued the conversation, please do not become boring because we even more topics that can be discussed.

Until finally, the clock had shown ten o'clock in the evening.

Although it still includes the coastal area, but the air in this villa is cool, maybe because the distance to the beach is still quite far plus the number of trees around.

At the time when we had a lot of chat breaks, aka silence dissolves in daydreams, suddenly I saw a shadow emerging from the direction of the river.

The shadow moved into the grounds of the villa, shaped like a child, a woman.

“Eh uh uh. Did you see Del?” Ask me while upholding the sitting position.

“What intention?” Della answered with a question.

“Kayak no shadow of small child get into vila”

“Ah lo do not macem-macem deh, already malem nih, where the two children again go again.”

“Original, I saw shadow.”

“Alena! There is no aaahh.”

“Hahaha, yes yes, maybe I saw it wrong.” Close me up and calm Della.

Could I have seen it wrong? At that time I didn't know.

Then we went back to silence, drowning in daydreams, enjoying the late night.

“Alena, just go in, watch tv, while waiting for the two children to go home.” Suddenly, Della gave me an idea.

“Ya already yuk in, the wind also began to tighten nih.” I concur.

Then we entered, heading towards the middle room of the first floor.

The lights are bright we let it all light up. The air inside was warmer, perhaps because it was somewhat closed, the night wind was slightly obstructed to enter.

Until finally, it did not feel like we had been watching television for half an hour, it just happened that the show was quite interesting for me, so my mind was diverted from the strange gelagat shown by Della.

Yeah, not that unconscious, but I noticed that Della seemed a little fretful, like something was bothering her mind, but I kept forcing myself to not care, trying to focus on watching tv.

Della looked at the stairs several times, then looked up, to the second floor.

Until finally Della could not stand it anymore, she spoke as well.

“Lo denger gak?” Whisper Della slowly, looking at me.

“Denger what?” My answer.

“His tv pen try bentar.” Della said again.

I followed his will, then shrink the volume of tv sound.

Then quiet, very quiet.

“Ah, no noise Dellaaaaaa. Udah ah, again exciting this show.”

I said when I turned down the volume of the tv but still did not hear any sound.

“So there's a sound, gw dread, now gone.” Answer Della.

Della's face still looks curious, he looks still sure if he had heard a sound from the second floor, but clearly what sound. I tried to pretend to ignore his attitude again, until finally he came late to also watch the tv show that I watched. Thankfully.

Not that I didn't hear what Della might have meant, I heard it too.

There were footsteps on the top floor, small steps like running, back and forth from the back to the front porch.

I heard everything, but tried to keep ignoring it until I finally saw Della's body.

I lied with the intention that Della would not be a parno, because she was an outrageous coward.

It's 11 o'clock past, Devin and Bayu haven't come back yet, either stuck where they both are.

Then we continued to watch the tv, while trying to resist the sleepiness that began to come.

Della still looks curious, behind her laughter still seen that she felt something strange, sometimes still watching the stairs.

Next, Della suddenly grabbed the tv remote, then played down her voice again..

Then..

Duk, duk, duk, duk..

Sounds like that, though,

I can't lie anymore, because we heard it together.

“Tuh, lo denger gak.” Della almost whispered.

I'm nodding.

“There are running around above, Alena.” Della's voice started shaking, she was terrified.

“Udah justin, watch tv again. Gedein again voice try.” I grabbed another tv remote, then raised the volume.

Yes, right, there was the sound of small footsteps running around on the second floor, it was very clear we heard it.

Della looks scared, I'm the same, but what else. We're far from anywhere, out in the dark, no vehicles.

Della continued to watch the stairs, while the footsteps of love sounded occasionally even faintly covered by the sound of tv.

Until finally, we heard the sound of the front fence opening, I ran to the window to see it. Turns out it was Devin and Bayu, finally they came home.

Go back to Alena again..

Thursday morning, I prepared breakfast for all of us, my mainstay fried rice being the dish.

The atmosphere of the morning is quite beautiful, the occasional sound of a boat engine is heard from the direction of the river, also many locals are walking to the beach through the road that is right in front of the villa.

“Ah eat lo lama, ayok buruan ngapa, let the road to the beach.” Devin started grumbling, he wanted to hurry to the beach.

“Yes, be patient, this is a moment in order,” I replied.

In short, after finishing breakfast then we went to the beach, to enjoy the morning atmosphere on the southern seafront.

The beach distance from the villa is about 10 minutes walk, approximately.

True to our guesses, the atmosphere of the morning on the beach is very beautiful. Enjoying the calm of the sea water that is almost without waves, there is no wind at all.

Seen some fishing troupes pulling long nets from the middle of the sea, we noticed everything.

Actually, the atmosphere of the morning on the beach is second to none, I really like it.

But, around eight o'clock, there was something that required me to return to the villa.

“Aduh, I mules, pingin pup, how is this.” I have a stomachache.

“Aaaaah, habit, ruin the atmosphere, already hitched a ride in the shop aja.” Bayu rather emotionally said so as his hand pointed towards the beachside stall.

“Ah can't Baaayy, I have to go back to the villa, let's ah anterin.” I'm pasting.

“No need ah, Vin lo aja gih anther Alena.” Bayu said so to Devin.

“Ya already ayok hunted, I also kinda mules anyway.” As soon as Devin said while hearkening grin.

Well, at last Devin and I went back to the villa.

Long story short, soon we arrived.

“Gw to the shop first yes, buy cigarettes. Not far from the stall, it's there.” So Devin said when we were in front of the fence.

“Ya already hunted, don't be long, I want to go to the beach again.” My answer.

After that I went inside the villa, while Devin continued walking towards the highway, heading for the shop to buy cigarettes.

Because I could not stand it anymore, I immediately ran to the bathroom downstairs, which was located in the back.

Aaahh, relieved to feel, having been in the toilet and disengaged.

I'm done, I'm still sitting on the toilet, daydreaming for a while before I clean up.

But, then my daydreams ran out, when I suddenly heard the sound of footsteps, footsteps that seemed exactly the same as the one I and Della had heard the night before.

His voice was like the sound of a child's footsteps running around, this time downstairs. It sounded clear, because it was close, in the middle room.

I watched those footsteps, continuously sharpening my hearing from inside the bathroom.

Right, it was obvious that there seemed to be a child running around in the living room. I could only shut up, frightened.

It grew even more fearful when the footsteps suddenly stopped, stopping right in front of the bathroom door!

Oh my God, what do you do?

Shut up, not daring to move even a little so as not to produce sound. I was pretty sure the owner of the footsteps was standing behind the door.

For a few moments such a situation..

I was terrified, almost crying.

Then footsteps rang out again, this time away from the door, towards the middle room. I kept following his movements.

Then the footsteps stopped again, this time stopping in the living room. Then suddenly there was the sound of tv..

The TV that I was so sure was dead when I entered earlier, suddenly sounded on its own, with a really loud voice.

I cried softly, scared, not daring to go out..

But..

“Alenaaaaa, you know tv very fast anyway? Let the whack of the bathroom mean?”

Thank God, I finally heard Devin's voice, then hurried out of the bathroom.

“Yuk ah to the beach again.” I pulled Devin's hand, inviting him to rush out of the villa.

The events of the morning I deliberately did not tell other friends, I did not want to ruin the holiday atmosphere, although the incident was enough to make me think about who the owner of the footsteps?.
