Ghost Restaurant

Ghost Restaurant
A Heavy Choice

"Lhooo, what a maksa!" yumna shouted a little annoyed, staring at Rey's back who was walking straight ahead.

"Yumna, what's up there? Let's go home, and then come and find out the taste!" said Martha, a classmate from school when Kanak-Kanak Park until now, High School.

"Yes, you just got home?" tanya Yumna tried to be friendly as usual.

"It's so nice to know people's business!" the answer is as usual.

Yumna chose to leave Martha, before she began to continue her curse.

Martha is the son of an oil palm businessman, who is also the richest in her village. But because of his father's busyness more often out of the island, and his mother who likes to join social gatherings to the city makes it lonely.

Lack of parental affection, even though Lina's aunt is always there for her. Home assistant, who is already from the baby nurtures her. But that doesn't make him happy, it makes him a selfish child who doesn't want to lose to others. It was done only to seek attention that has been less obtained.

"Yumna, where are you going? Very insolent, not yet finished talking has just stopped!" he was angry, not wanting to be ignored.

Martha chose to drive the latest output matic motor to her home, after her anger was not channeled. Although there is no happiness that he will find in his house later.

Yumna knocked on her door, but there was no answer there. He tried to surround his house, hoping Grandma Kip was gardening behind his house.

Empty, there's nobody there. Precisely a white-painted creature that he found was hanging his feet on a jackfruit tree next to the house.

"You looking for your grandmother?" ask Susi, Yumna calls for her.

"Yes, you know what?" tanya Yumna raised her head.

"That's why I'm here!" the answer was playing on his dreadlocks which had started to fill with caterpillars and cockroaches.

"Beautiful Susi, can Yumna know where Grandma Kip went?" ask Yumna.

"So your grandmother passed out, and was taken to the hospital like that!" he said that immediately made Yumna lean limp against the brick wall.

"Thank you" Yumna answered briefly, and immediately ran to the next-door neighbor of her house.

"Excuse me, Miss Nuri?" yumna said greeting in front of the house.

"Eh, Yumna's home. Come here to eat first," said Ms. Nuri, who already considers Yumna to be her own child.

Bu Nuri only lives with Mr. Robi, her husband. Both of their children are married and live in different cities.

"Thank you, Mom. Yumna just wanted to ask, do you know where Kip's grandmother is now?" asked Yumna who had worked hard to hold back tears.

"Yumna, be patient. Your grandmother will be fine. Mr. Robi, has taken him to the nearest hospital," he explained.

"All right, I'll be right there."

"Let's just take you, ride a motorcycle so fast until yes," said Nuri offer.

"Thank you, but Yumna can go there by herself. Sorry to bother you" said Yumna, unable to hold back the tears that had run down her cheeks.

Bu Nuri insisted on delivering him, not wanting anything to happen to him. Yumna finally complied.

Selama dalam perjalanan, Yumna hanya terdiam. Memikirkan bagaimana cara membayar biaya rumah sakit itu.

The savings are already very thin, it may run out immediately after being used to pay hospital bills.

Arriving at the hospital, he immediately approached Kip's grandmother, the only family left.

"Grandma, Yumna's here!" he said he approached the elderly grandmother who was lying weakly in a hospital bed.

"Because Yumna has come, we say yes. Later tonight let us wait here. Yumna just sleeps at home, because tomorrow has to go to school," said Mr. Robi.

"Thanks, Sir!" yumna said briefly, not knowing what else to say.

"You pray a lot, don't think about the cost. We paid for it" continued Robi patting Yumna on the shoulder who did not know what to do.

Yumna was really confused, what should she do to replace the cost of this hospital. Suddenly he recalled the job offer at the ghost restaurant.

"Yes, maybe I should try it. There's no harm in me accepting his offer" murmured Yumna.

"Yum.. Yumna.., I'm sorry grandma," said Kip when he first opened his eyes.

"Grandma, Yumna is scared. Yumna only has a grandmother. Grandma should be healthy for Yumna," cried Yumna kissed the wrinkled hand.

"Grandma's sorry, it's been hard for Yumna. Grandma so add to the burden of Yumna now when it should be the grandmother who takes care of Yumna," said Nek Kip rubbed the girl's head.

"Sstt, grandma can't say that. Most importantly for Yumna, grandma must be healthy soon and go home with Yumna," said Yumna to calm her grandmother.

"But what about the cost of this hospital? It's better for grandma to come home now, so the cost doesn't add up."

"Quiet, Grandma. Mr. Robi has paid for it, and Yumna promises to replace it if he gets a wage. Pray for Yumna to be able to do part-time work, Grandma!"

"Are you getting a job? Where's?" ask nek Kip.

"Yumna works part-time at a restaurant, lumayam kok pay," Yumna replied not entirely lying, though not telling everything.

"Thank God! The important thing is to be honest, and be careful," his grandmother's advice was answered only by a nod.

Time quickly went by as she accompanied her grandmother inside the hospital room. Yumna also took advantage of her time to take a short nap next to her grandmother's bed, after finishing homework from school.

"Yumna, wake up son!" the sound woke him up.

"Eh, Miss Nuri. Sorry I overslept, he." Yumna replied, wiping a small amount of liquid out of her mouth.

"Now it's still not too late, go home! Continue to rest at home so that tomorrow can make your grandmother's spirit."

"Thank you very much, Mom, sir! If there is money Yumna will soon replace the cost," said Yumna.

"Don't think about it. Just pray your grandmother can be healthy quickly and accompany you at home again" said Mr. Robi.

"Oh yeah, here's the key and the key. Just put the bike on! And I've prepared dinner for you. You'd better take it home" said Ms. Nuri.

"Again thanks," said Yumna wanted to kneel kiss the feet of the two, but was immediately arrested and hugged by Nuri.

There was happiness when she felt that there was a family that cared about her.

"Then Yumna said goodbye. Thank you very much" Yumna said before leaving the room with the keys and the letter, along with her dinner.

It was not too late night. He took the time to go home to spend his dinner, after too many sightings he had encountered on the way home.

Yumna cleaned herself and her house, then prepared to leave to decide her choice.
