I'm Not Jealous

The five of them had already started their breakfast this morning. Kaaran sat between Zoe and Zack, while Rania sat beside Aditya.

"Sister Aditya, want more eggs?" tawar Rania's.

"Ah, em .. no need, Ra. I'm full already." Actually Aditya refused not because he was full, but because he could not stand the sharp gaze that Kaaran aimed at him. Moreover, he sat right beside Rania, and Rania also from earlier always invited him to talk about this and that. Aditya was sure, Kaaran must have really disliked seeing that.

"Why? Aditya tumben breakfast is very little, usually not so," said Rania.

Kaaran was shocked to hear Rania's words. Rania said that usually it is not so, meaning this man has often come here for breakfast.

Not often, but every morning because their house is next door. Moreover, Aditya is also not married and only lives alone in his house, so no one has prepared breakfast for him in the morning.

"That was before I got here to eat something" Aditya lied.

"Oh."

"Eh." Kaaran cleared her throat, then thrust her plate towards Rania. "I want to add, just give me the egg."

"Take it yourself." Rania said curiously and put food in her mouth. He did not want to serve Kaaran because he was still upset because of the naughty sausage in his room earlier.

"Eh, Rr-Ra, just give her the egg. I don't want to either." Aditya felt even more nervous because Kaaran looked at him with a sharp look as if he wanted to kill him when it was also added again after Rania refused to serve the jealous man.

"Let him take it himself, brother. He also has his own hands." Rania still insists on not serving Kaaran.

O Rara .. do you want to make me die at the hands of a jealous and possessive man like him?  Inner Aditya, he was getting scared to see Kaaran's sharp gaze on him.

Kaaran who already could not bear the jealousy she felt in her heart decided to immediately leave the dining table. He was no longer appetizing to see Rania who was so attentive to other men.

Zoe and Zack just shook their heads at the behavior of their parents who were like children.

After Kaaran's back was not seen again, Aditya said to Rania, "Ra, do you want to make your foster brother die at the man's hands?"

Rania pretended to be confused. Though he did deliberately want to make Kaaran angry and jealous of his adoptive brother. "What does Aditya mean? Why would he kill you, brother? How dare he do such a thing?"

"Maybe he didn't dare to do it himself, Ra, but he could pay any man to take my life. So please, I'm asking you to stop making him misunderstand. I don't want to find trouble with people like him" Aditya explained.

"Sister Aditya take it easy. He wouldn't dare mess with you. I'll fight him if he dares to touch you in the slightest."

It's free to talk to Rara. He would not understand how creepy a jealous and possessive man like that man was.

"Rara, I can't calm down before resolving this misunderstanding with her." Aditya immediately got up from his seat, wanting to catch up with Kaaran on the terrace.

Arriving at the terrace, Aditya sees Kaaran talking to someone on the phone. He hears Kaaran is talking about her flight with Rania and her twin sons to the city of Mercury.

Whahuh? So she wanted to take Rara and the children home with her. Why so suddenly? Did Rara and the kids agree to go with her? Inner Aditya.

Not long after, after seeing Kaaran end her phone call, Aditya walks up to her.

"What's up?" Kaaran asked in a flat tone while still turning her back to Aditya. It turned out that he had indeed realized the arrival of the man since earlier.

Aditya stopped his steps when he heard Kaaran's question. "I want to speak up and straighten out a misunderstanding between us."

Kaaran turned to look at Aditya in her cool style, both hands she put in the front pocket of the pants she was wearing. "Say."

Aditya walked closer towards Kaaran. "My relationship with Rara is not what you think it is. We are just a brother and a foster sister. So, you don't have to be jealous of me."

Kaaran threw her face away and turned her back to Aditya. "Who is jealous of you two. I'm not jealous."

Aditya smile. As a fellow man, he knew that Kaaran did not want his pride to fall because of this.

Although Kaaran is 35 years old and 5 years older than Aditya, but their age does not look much different, even Kaaran still looks like the 20s, not 30s. Thanks to his good looks, he looks much younger than his real age.

"Before I apologize, I accidentally heard your conversation while talking on the phone" said Aditya.

"It's okay."

"Do you really want to bring Rara and Zoe and Zack back to your town?" aditya asked, wanting to be sure.

"Yes, that's right. And I planned my wedding with Rania." This time Kaaran's tone was like a friend to Aditya.

Aditya smile. "I'm so glad to hear that. But as long as you know, actually Rara is still very doubtful of you. She was only forced to be with you because she wanted so much to see her two children always happy."

For a moment Kaaran turned towards Aditya. "It looks like you and Rania are very close. He even told you all about it."

"Of course, we were very close. Because I'm the only person she considers a relative in this town. We are both like siblings, the joy and sorrow we face together. Every time there's a problem, we're always sharing and finding a way out."

The next day, Aditya escorts Rania, Kaaran, Zoe, Zack, Robot Papa and William to the Airport.

"Sister Aditya, I'm saying goodbye, huh?" Rania said goodbye while crying and hugged Aditya tightly. Aditya returned Rania's embrace, then patted the girl's shoulder very slowly and gently.

For almost 6 years living in the city of Pluto, Aditya has helped Rania a lot. They are close and familiar like siblings.

Kaaran turned her face when she saw Rania cuddling with another man. Even though he already knew that Rania and Aditya did not have a special relationship, but the man still did not like her to be touched by another man.

"Ehm!" Kaaran cleared her throat when she felt the two had hugged her for quite a while.

Aditya immediately pushed slowly Rania's body after hearing Kaaran's deheman's voice. "Oh, don't cry. Don't forget to invite me to your wedding."

"What are you talking about, brother? I told you that I don't want to marry him. I'm doing all this for the kids." Rania said while whispering to Aditya, also while wiping her still dripping tears.

Aditya smiled then stroked Rania's head gently. "Just think. He's not as bad as you think. After all, this is all you do for the sake of children's happiness. So cheer up a little, I'm sure, he can definitely make you happy with the kaliana children later."

"You too, brother. After we stay, find a companion. You are now well established and mature, look for a woman to serve as a wife, let someone take care of and care for you later," said Rania.

Aditya smiled back. "It's not yet time, Ra. I still want to be free."

"Om Adit!" Zoe and Zack run into Aditya.

"Darling ...." Aditya crouched down and hugged the two twins. "Often video call Om, huh?"

"Yes, Om." As usual, Zoe and Zack answered simultaneously.

"Can't Papa's Robot just stay with me, Zack?" ask Aditya to Zack.

"Can't, Om. Papa is Zack's best friend" Zack replied. "Let's see, Om Adit just take all the cleaning robots to be taken home or to the Om Adit store."

Aditya laughs. "Yes, yeah, yeah. It's better than nothing." Aditya hugs Zoe and Zack. "Om gonna miss you guys so much later."

"We will also miss Om Adit very much."

"Master! We better get in now. Soon his plane will take off" William said, reminding.

"okay." Kaaran walked over to Aditya. "Aditya, thank you for taking good care of the three of them for so many years."

"There is no need to thank them, because they have been considered like my own family" said Aditya.
