Chapters 19. Satya Business Travel

Today is the busiest day for a Satya. Check all the work in Jakarta before leaving it later. Prepare for his business trip to some even overseas cities for the next few days.

"Master... There are still documents that have not been checked. Please check in advance and this document also needs your signature." Jordi handed over one map containing her subordinate's work that Satya had to re-examine.

"The collection of everything I have to sign Jordi so that everything can be done before we go on the journey." Satya's orders.

"Okay Sir... Excuse me." Jordi came out of Satya's room.

Satya is back busy with her work today. If it works like this Satya will be focused and serious. Leaving all his troubles to his work. The company is more important than thinking about his wife and children.

"Excuse me Sir... Sorry, there are more documents to sign. And I also want to provide information that the tender meeting in Surabaya will be advanced one day sooner." Garce said politely.

"Applied ? Call Jordi back here." Satya.

"Good Sir... Excuse me first." Grace resigns. The female secretary was also busy completing work before her boss went on a business trip.

Shortly waiting for the assistant who always faithfully accompanied every work Satya came. Jordi came with some more documents in her hands.

"What's up, sir ?" Ask Jordi who has entered Satya's room.

"There are so many documents I have to check. Some documents I'm handing over to you Jordi. You check when you're done give it to me to sign."

"Meeting tender in Surabaya advanced do you already know ?" Satya asked whose eyes were still focused on some of her documents.

"Already Sir... Just now Grace gave me information. Documents were ready a few days ago and you brought them." Jordi reminded her Master of the existence of an important document that will be their material tomorrow.

Satya stops her activities, sighing her propped up hand on the table back massaging her forehead trying to calm her re-chaotic mind.

"Jordi, whether this is my carelessness or something. That document I put on my desk before we went to Mr. Maxim's daughter's wedding. And the document is gone." Say Satya with a cold and flat face.

Jordi looked directly at her Master, it was quite strange for her to have her lie down on an important document of her own. As far as Jordi was concerned, her boss never seteledor this when it came to her work.

"Master is sure if the document is missing ? As far as I know, sir has never been this suit." Said Jordi who felt astonished for this time.

"I don't know Jordi. I searched my entire workspace but couldn't find it. Even Aunt at home has helped me to find her." Satya still seemed to think about where she put the important map.

Satya is very sure if he is not wrong and does not forget to put it. But the question this time is why the document could just disappear. The only one who came out into her workspace was her housekeeper. It's impossible if her maid took some of that important paper, for what.

"Then how is Mister ? We don't have time to prepare that material. The soft file of the material is also in the map." Jordi again reminded her not of her Master.

"Aarghgh... We can't back out of this meeting, Jordi." Satya finally vented a vexation towards herself.

"Is there any spare material ? It should be there because I've been reminded to create backup materials often if it's constrained to the main material." Satya asked thinking of another plan for the problem she was facing right now.

"There's Master... I'll check on Grace soon I'll be back." Jordi immediately came out again to check their backup material.

There is usually some material chosen for their project. Design 1 and Design 2. Design 1 is used for main material and design 2 as backup material.

Satya hopes her employees do not forget the things she always reminded if they have to make backup materials.

Jordi returned fortunately they did not forget to prepare spare materials. The design used for the presentation is forced to change from the main material.

Satya again sighed a little disappointed with the preparation for the meeting outside the city this time. Feeling that lately the performance in his office began to decline. What is wrong with him or indeed luck is not on his side.

All preparations have been completed, today the departure time for Satya and Jordi to Surabaya. By using a public plane Satya departed for the city where he would follow an important meeting. This time Satya did not use his private plane because it was felt only close to the city of Jakarta.

Arriving at Soekarno Hatta airport many pairs of eyes looked at Satya with admiration for his good looks. Satya knew that and actually he felt uncomfortable but want how else his choice to use a public plane with other passengers could not be undone. Time has passed due to busy fixing new material.

One hour more Satya and Jordi arrived at Juanda Airport Surabaya. Suitcases are carried by each of them. Previously Jordi had been looking for an online taxi to Magnolia hotel where the meeting was held.

Even just arrived Satya and Jordi had to go directly to the meeting room in Magnolia hotel after their luggage entered the room they rented.

"Jordi, is the file ready for all ?" Satya asked to make sure.

"Our Master is just heading for the meeting room." Answer Jordi firmly. This time Jordi has correctly confirmed all the material files of their presentation.

"I hope the outcome of this meeting doesn't disappoint me." Satya.

"Hopefully sir, I hope so too."

Both of them walked with firm and authoritative steps. The tender meeting this time was not as heavy and as many participants during the Mega project tender meeting from the government yesterday.

When opening the door there are already several participants who sit on the bench that has been determined by the organizer. Satya and Jordi get a front row bench close to the projector screen.

"Please Mr. meeting will start soon we're just waiting for one company." Said the organizing committee.

"Thank you, sir." Answer Fahmi. Satya just nodded without a smile at all.

Waiting for a while, one company awaited finally came. A man who was the same age as Satya entered the room casually.

One by one the participants showed and explained their material. Likewise with Satya and Jordi they explained their material quite well because indeed the two men were already poor across the business world like that.

In the end, it was the turn of the FF Group. The participant who comes last and gets the last order. With the confidence of a man who allegedly was the CEO of FF Group standing up from his seat, the projector screen displayed the material to be presented by him.

The beginning of the presentation was ordinary until it reached the middle of the discussion Satya and Jordi was so surprised. Look at each other with eyes. One of Satya's hands was firmly clenched inside her pants pocket.

Finally the meeting was announced that the winner of the tender meeting was FF Group. Applause echoed, a big smile mounted on the lips of a man from FF Group. Glanced at the glance of Satya who held back disappointment and was annoyed with cynicism.

Meeting is over, participants disperse. Not long after Satya immediately left the meeting room followed by Jordi. Satya's quick steps towards her room.

BRAK !!!

The hotel door closed quite roughly. Jaw was hardening earlier. Both of Satya's hands were on her waist. "Fuck !!! Why is it like this." Satya.

Satya lost again in the tender this time. His defeat was suffered twice in a row.

HANG !!! The glass in her hotel room was slammed. The unlucky dead thing becomes an easy target of Satya's anger.

"Sir..." Call Jordi who just entered Satya's room.

"Jordi, find out who dares to play behind me. There must be an insider leaking all this." Satya said holding back her anger.

Jordi is the same thing with Satya, feeling disappointed because their material can be in the hands of others. Even the company is not a company known by Satya or Jordi. They should have won the tender this time. But the material was someone who leaked it.

Finished the meeting in Surabaya which resulted in disappointment. Satya immediately made a flight to France. Where there Satya also has a company, now his company gets a regular schedule of visits from Satya every one or two years.

In the Eiffel tower country, Satya has luxury apartments close to her company. The journey is quite far makes the burly man chose to rest his body for a moment.

It did not seem Satya was asleep until the afternoon. Jordi knocks on Satya's bedroom door to wake her Master.

"What's up ?" Satya asked with a typical hoarse voice of waking up. The man looked exhausted.

"It was late afternoon, sir. Since you haven't eaten. Eat first." Said Jordi who was so attentive to energy intake for her Master.

"Later all night." Thought Satya was already gigging soon to be entering dinner time.

"Come in. I have something to talk about." Satya's orders.

Jordi sat straight on Satya's sofa in the luxurious room. Satya who only wore casual clothes white T-shirts and knee-length shorts sat on the bed.

"What's up, sir ?" Ask Jordi.

"How's Hector Group's investigation going ?" Ask Satya.

"I'm sorry... You can cut my salary. I haven't been able to find out who the architect of Hector Group is." Jordi dared not look at Satya for his failure. Not failed but has not managed to get information that seems closed tightly.

"But they have a company in the country and have several branches in the country and in Indonesia." Imbuh Jordi with a little courage glanced at his Master.

Satya sighed up from her seat on the bed and stood in front of the large window of her room. Both of his hands were put in his pants pocket. "40% of your remaining salary next month." Satya broke up quickly without much thought.

Jordi just sighed slowly disappointed but could not do anything about the consequences. Twice Satya's orders have not been able to get her.

"Is there any other information ?" Ask Satya.

"Of some Hector Group companies, brands are not only doing business in the property sector. Except in the field of furniture with good quality. Many large buildings such as villas or luxury hotels that use furniture production from them." "Recort... I will make a resort in Bali. This business-oriented project will not make Hector Group suspicious. With the pretext of providing the best facilities for visitors later we will use furniture from Hector Group." Satya turned to face Jordi her steps slowly and firmly standing beside Jordi with her hands still tucked behind her pants pocket.

Jordi nodded in understanding at the idea used by her Master. "For design will we design the resort itself ?"

"certain... Prepare the resort design and give it to me when it's done. Your job is to contact our architect and the Hector Group after the design has been checked." Satya's eyes glanced at her assistant. As Jordi stared at her Master instantly, a grinning smile kept the meaning veiled.

Over the years of working with Satya, Jordi understood the wishes of her boss. Think of it as a Jordi word of understanding to give to Satya. Looks relaxed 4-headed man was stepping his feet into the bathroom to refresh himself.
