New Normal Company

The trip to Rayen's office that morning was long. Maybe because the streets have started to jam or also because the minds of the two of them are currently divided between enjoying the trip and thinking about the departure of Mr. Rehan and Mr. Kimnana later in the day.

At about 08.30 wib, the car entered Putra Company's office.  The atmosphere though not as crowded as usual, but the busyness in the office has begun to feel. Some employees are working as usual. Only the public relations section is still not optimal in carrying out activities, because it is still bumped by health protocols that must be adhered to in receiving guests who come to the office.

After parking the vehicle in a special parking lot for the company owner, Rayen and Maureen immediately rushed to his room.

In the company lobby room, several administrative staff stood briefly to welcome the arrival of their big boss. Not to be left behind, Vivi, Rayen's secretary who is also already there.

“Good morning Mr. Rayen, Mother Maureen” greet Vivi who stands at the front to welcome their bigbos.

“Good morning Mr. Rayen, Maureen” mom greet all the employees who were in the lobby of Putra Company's office that morning.

Smiling, Rayen and Maureen stepped into his office. Not forgetting that he greeted them all.

“Good morning all.” Rayen said while putting his hands in front of his chest instead of shaking hands with each other.

“Good morning to everyone” said Maureen, who was almost at the same time as Rayen, saying good morning to all his employees.

Seeing their President doing so, the employees also put their hands on their chests. And this is one of the health protocols in the new normanl pandemic period this time. Indeed, everyone is trying to minimize contact with others, even if it is just a handshake. And instead is to put your hands in front of your chest, while saying greetings to each other.

After they said greetings to each other, Rayen then spoke to them.

“All of my brothers, employees of the Son of Company I love, today we are reunited in this office. Although the situation is still not completely normal as usual, but we hope the new normal situation this time does not reduce the enthusiasm for work. Serving for the progress of our company” said Rayen.

Rayen took a long breath. The situation that his company had just experienced even by the world today was indeed so heavy. After a while, Rayen then continued his words.

“Currently we realize, indeed what we are facing right now is quite heavy. The current situation forces us to make new habits that make us have to change our habits and routines. But believe me, whatever happens in our lives, there must be a silver lining. Maybe at this time we have not realized the wisdom behind this disaster. But later, one day after all happens, we will know the meaning of every event that we go through.

For this reason, we ask all employees and staff of the company to be patient with this event. Tell all the other employees. Take care of your health, diligently diligently to wash your hands and maintain cleanliness. And keep distance from people we do not know or who are at risk to transmit to us.

May we always be given health and safety. Happy work and entering the new normal period. Your dedication and loyalty to this company, we are looking forward to. Happy working”

Everyone present in the lobby listened carefully to what their President's message and direction was. It does. Whatever happens, life has to go on. If we stop, we will be crushed by the wheels of life.

How severe the trials we go through, will certainly be a valuable lesson if we are able to live it patiently.

Maureen who listened to her husband's words, felt very happy. Not noticeably, her tears slowly dripped down both of her cheeks that were blushing red. He's very moved. Her husband is very mature now. And very capable of protecting against all his men.

Rayen who used to be better known as a child who tends to be spoiled and often still dependent on his parents, apparently now has changed greatly.

After the death of Mr. Tito, Maureen's father-in-law and various problems faced by his company and KSM Group, Ryen has become more mature. All his actions and decisions were full of careful calculations.

After delivering a message to his employees, Rayen then invited Maureen to enter his room. Not forgetting before entering his room, Rayen approached Vivi.

“Vi, later if someone brings a cv to apply for a job, named Ronald, tell me to go directly to my room ya” said Rayen

“O. yes. Is there an urgent agenda today?” said Rayen

“No sir yet. Maybe later in the afternoon there are some events, but not urgent” said Vivi.

“O. if not urgent, for the agenda later in the afternoon in cancel course yes, because later at 12:00 we have to go home. There are important family events” said Rayen.

“Good pak” replied Vivi.

Rayen then entered his room. Followed by Maureen who walked behind him. They soon drowned with their jobs. The new normal atmosphere they live in, does not prevent them from continuing to carry out activities.

There was no special activity on the first day they entered the office today. Some OBs are also busy checking office equipment such as AC, and computer devices and other office tools. Some hardware that some time ago was installed in Maureen's house as a means to work online in Work From Home, has now been moved to the office again. Some of those devices can already function normally in this new place. Only a few tools that have not been installed because it has not been urgent to use.

A motorcycle entered Putra Company's office. Wearing helmets and black jackets, some security guards and employees had trouble seeing who he was. But when he entered the examination room and the man opened his helmet, then they knew that the man riding the motorcycle was a young man who was about 25 years old.

Then the young man immediately showed the business card handed to the guard at the front post of the office. The business card belongs to Mr. Rayen, President of Putra Company.

After introducing himself, the young man was named Ronald Aditya. And intends to apply for a job.

Finally a guard rushed to the lobby. While Ronald was still waiting in the waiting room of the guard post.

A little while the guard went into the lobby, while Ronald was still waiting at the post hoping to be anxious. This was the first time he entered the company. Even met with Mr. Rayen only once yesterday. Although he came here on the recommendation of Mr. Rakha who is the former employer of Mr. Dirgo, his father, but it is undeniable that let him not be, Mr. Dirgo has never even been familiar with the President of the Putra Company.

Between please be anxious, Ronald waited with an occasional long sigh.
