Episode 27 - Portal of the demon world

Rang raised the corner of his left eyebrow, he was still watching the two men before him. "I'm Yuri's friend."

The three words that made Rang feel hot, "since when has Yuri had a male friend other than me?" inner Rang.

Not long after, Yuri came from behind Rang. "Excuse me, Mr. Rang, I'm sorry my friend is Sean. He's here to bring his friend who's the best doctor to check on Byul." Yuri smiled welcoming the two people.

Rang looked at him with a cold look. But Yuri ignored him, he made Rang shift and gave way to Sean and the doctor. Yuri immediately led them to Byul's room. There lay his weak sister with a pale face and an enlarged stomach. Rang followed Yuri and stood behind her while touching the woman's hip. Yuri tries to release Rang's touch but the man continues to do so.

"He must be your girlfriend, right?"

Yuri's cheeks flushed red, she felt ashamed of Rang for saying that to Sean. However, the look on Rang's face even looks sparkling and cheerful, he is happy Yuri said that. "Fright! I'm her future husband."

"Whose husband is she?" not long another voice sounded from the back of Rang. Rang and Yuri turned their heads together, it was Nara. The woman was watching the people in Byul's room.

"Of course Miss Nara's future husband, right, Mr Rang?"

"Hm.. Aye." Yeah."

Rang grinned then took a few steps back and then aligned himself with Nara. Yuri moves closer to Byul's bed.

Sean turned his head towards Yuri, the man knew that Yuri was lying. "Interesting," he said.

"You're planning our wedding?" Nara looked at Rang with round eyes. The man did not reply, he let out a long sigh and continued to look at Yuri who was now focusing on Byul.

"Rang, I have to go home first to pick up some clothes." Nara clenched her mouth staring at Rang softly.

"Of course, you can take my car. Sorry I can't keep you company."

"No problem, thank you I borrowed your car first." Nara spontaneously kissed Rang's cheek quickly in front of the people there.

Rang gasped and did not know what to respond to, he just felt guilty towards Yuri. After Nara breezes away from Rang's house, Yuri focuses on the doctor who is taking care of Byul while occasionally talking to Sean and ignoring Rang. The man felt that he was being ignored so Rang decided to get out of the room to pick up a can of fizzy drink in the kitchen and then chug it down.

"Does he want to repay me?" mummy Rang. The man finished his can of drink, then took a new one and drank it again until he burped.

"You should bring it to your guests too."

Rang turned his head towards the source of the voice, the man named Sean was now getting sassy to approach Rang and snatch a can of drink that Rang held. "Hum, it's fresh."

He returned the empty can to Rang's grasp, the furious fox then squeezed the empty can until it was out of shape. "You're not polite!"

The man laughed a little. "Sorry, Brother Rang, I didn't know that you couldn't be joked around like this."

"Rank! You can't be that rude to my friend!"  Yuri came suddenly to join them.

"The doctor said he knew a cure for Byul, let's listen and go back to the room." Yuri clasped Rang's hand then took him back to the room. Sean who saw that could only grin wryly and then tail behind.

Arriving in a light brown room with matching furniture. Rang and Yuri stand side by side waiting for Sean's doctor's explanation. "Look, I know what kind of medicine can cure rare pain. What I see, this disease or plague is not from our world but from another world. Believe it or not, but it's real."

Sean and Yuri look very surprised, in contrast to Rang who is not surprised at all because he already knows it. What puzzled him was how the doctor knew this.

"The medicine also comes from another world, the name of the medicine is Kaleana Flower. This flower thrives in the world of stealth and is famous as the best healer. Unfortunately, this drug is impossible to find if we do not love the other world and have no way to get there, I personally strongly believe in the existence of a stealth world that coexists with us. What about you Miss Yuri?"

Yuri turned to Rang. "I really believe" he smiled, hoping Rang had a solution to Byul's recovery.

"Are you guys silly? Do you still believe in the myth? No human has ever been able to pass through the demon world. After all, that world is just a children's fairy tale! How can a doctor prescribe an impossible drug. Instead of looking for rare flowers it's better that you prescribe the best medicine with good technology too!" Rang frowned and glared at the doctor as well as Sean.

"Rank!" Yuri pulls Rang's arm then takes the man to her own room.

"It was disrespectful, the doctor only gave a prescription that most likely could cure Byul!"

"That's ridiculous!" sahut Rang while rolling his eyeballs.

"That's not ridiculous, you're a fox! You know the world, right?"

"Yuri! Our world is not the same as yours, it's so different, you can't imagine what kind of danger threatens us there! I can't do it, I don't want to go back there and deal with my father's people just for the sake of finding that mythical flower!"

Yuri fell silent, Rang's reply greatly disappointed him. His only hope of healing Byul was broken. "If you don't want to help me I'll ask your brother or your father for help straight away! I don't even care if they ask for my life in return!"

"Don't try to do it! I waited for you hundreds of years to reincarnate!" Rang frowned in annoyance.

"You're not waiting for me! You're just waiting for a reborn soul to become me! Rang, until when are you going to make me a shadow of your past? This time, I don't care about anything. All I want is Byul's safety! Even if I have to hand you over to your father I can do it! Or if they ask me to stay away from you I'll do it as long as Byul gets the cure! Besides, I'm not just looking for the mythical flower you're talking about."

"If that's what you want, you find it yourself! I will open my world portal for you! Please, don't expect me to help you! Just ask Yon for help!"

Rang channeled energy into the closet door which now began to emit orange light. The small circle grew larger and became the gateway to the demon world. The wind blew fiercely from that direction into Rang's room, Yuri squinted to clearly see the demon world inside there.

"I'll accompany him!" said a man trespassed into Rang's room.

"You're rogue! How dare you enter my room without permission and knock!" Rang growling.

"I'm sorry Brother Rang, it's a difficult situation but I have to help my friend Yuri. Since you've already seen all these things, you can erase my memories upon our return here. Yuri said you could erase someone's memory." Sean grinned while Rang looked at Yuri sharply.
