Four Eyes Swordsman

Four Eyes Swordsman
#8. Waiting Spirit

I'm glad Elvi's attitude has returned to normal but I'm also a bit sorry, because her jokes always hang me. We walked the direction we came. Towards the elevator. Get inside. Elvi punched the elevator wall.

Slowly the elevator moves down, the faster it gets. Stop over. Door opens. I almost fell because the elevator stopped suddenly. "What they are doing is not concerned with the comfort of their passengers" I protested to the elevator maker.

Arriving in a dark spacious room, in the middle there is a glowing green crystal ball.

We approached the crystal ball. After a short distance I watched closely. This ball is the size of a bowling ball.

the smooth surface is clean, the light green light emitting is sourced from the crystal core. Redup. As if it could be extinguished at any time.

"What's this?" Looking towards Elvi asked.

"The essence of this island."

"O... Is the light always so dim?"

"No, he usually shines brightly. Maybe it's time to fill up the energy."

"Energy? What energy?" My curiosity arose, the word energy attracted me. What kind of energy source could move an island of this size.

"Where." Elvi replied flatly while staring at me.

"Where? Whatisit? What does it look like? How do I get it? Where's he from..." I enthusiastically asked a series of questions.

"Wait a minute, the only thing I ask is I can't answer all the questions at the same time." Cut out my last sentence before I can finish it

"Mana is part of the life energy. It can be described as a representation of life energy. Existence varies.

Most commonly found in the form of basic elements such as Fire, Land, Water, and Air. However, not infrequently there are also those who have more than one basic element. There are some people who have embodiments of mana beyond the four basic elements.

For example, light and darkness. Basically what element you have is a representation of the soul of the user. Which actually has no existence but can be changed and realized." Elvi explained

My face was slightly pouting, feeling a little disappointed because the thing I just heard was something beyond reason. Some kind of magic and all that.

"Eh, why? Is my explanation boring?" Elvi asked clumsyly after seeing the disappointed expression from me.

"It's okay." I immediately changed my expression. The last sentence Elvi mentioned was a little interesting.

"Which is intangible but can be changed and addressed." I murmured softly, sounding like the theory of conservation of energy. Attractively.

"Well how else is this another world." I said lirih. Trying to ease my disappointment. I wish there was something like science or something like that, but it's just incredible magic.

"Yes, what were you talking about?" Elvi asked after hearing my soft and faint words.

"It's nothing. I'm just talking to myself." I dodged. Keeping my secret about me from another world unknown.

I don't know what he'll do after knowing I'm not from this world. So to be safe I better keep it a secret.

"Alright the outline I understand, this thing is supplied by some sort of magic power. Isn't that right?"

"Well, more or less like that."

"So how do I fill it?" I asked.

"Oh, about that. Will you help me?" Elvi asked in a soft tone while folding her hands.

"Close to." I approached.

"Jleb, two fangs stuck in the neck." Stupefied startled. My blood continues to be sucked. Strangely enough I felt nothing. Just a little pain in the sucked part.

"Fruit... What'sthis?! This delicious taste!" Moving forward, they bite again. Of course I'm not staying silent. Stop him. I held his mouth until moyong.

"Eh... What are you doing?" Spoiled tone bleached.

"No! Just once, I don't know what you just did." Of course I don't want to take risks that I don't know about. Considering safety and return is clearly my top priority.

"Don't be stingy, I've never tasted blood so rich as yours. So delicious as if eating a fancy dish full of flavor." Begging. Explain.

"No! I don't know what happens if you keep sucking my blood, I don't want to bleed to death anyway." I strongly rejected it.

"Curtain, you stingy bastard!" Stop whining and stand up.

"But thanks for the food, my energy has completely recovered." Sumringah said with enthusiasm.

"Yo, here it is." He extended his hand towards the crystal ball.

At first glance I saw his hands glowing with the increasingly bright crystal light. His face looked in pain.

"Arhg..." Finally came his voice. Groaning pain.

"No, that's enough. Stop that!" Shouted Elvi while trying to pull her hand. As if stiffened by something.

I immediately tried to help Elvi by helping her pull her hand. But free it even makes Elvi more pain.

Confused, scared, worried so one. Mixed up my feelings. Somehow I got the initiative. I stuck my hands towards the crystal.

"I've been waiting a long time." The sweet voice of a girl sounded in the ears. Maybe just a hallucination. Slowly both my hands began to glow. Bright white. Closing your eyes to prepare for pain.

Instead of pain, I felt warm and comfortable. I could feel the energy from all over my body flowing towards the hand and ending up being sucked in by the crystal.

Elvi's hand has gone. 'Open' fell to the floor. Breath gasping. Looks so tired and weak. While trying to regulate her breathing Elvi sat on the floor watching me channel energy. It seems he still can't talk.

The glare once the light green light shone brightly combined with the pure white light from my fairly bright arm. Elvi and I closed their eyes because of the glare. It felt like someone was holding my hand. Does Elvi? Not Elvi sitting limp on the floor then who?

Slowly the second light dimmed. Now I can clearly see the figure holding my hand. Clean white hair wearing light green long sleeves. A girl with half my height is pure white.

Bright green eyes. His hand kept holding my hand. "Finally you came too" He said as he continued to look at me. I was amazed and confused by what had just happened. Again, magic amazes and wonders me.

The girl floated. Slowly down until his feet hit the floor. Then I again felt my energy being sucked in again and saw the girl in front of me body quickly. Higher and higher. My energy stopped being sucked in and now it's almost as high as mine.

A little shorter than me. About his forehead under my mouth. Watching this made Elvi stunned. Surprised to look at both of us.

Now the dark room is bright. It looks like a giant room with many floors. What makes Elvi and myself even more surprised is that each floor was filled with many dolls. Maybe some kind of golem or robot if there is one.

After admiring around my gaze returned towards the girl who was still holding my hand.

"Who are you?" I asked

"I? Oh my name is Barsha. The Lyonesse Heirloom Spirit." The answer. With a cheerful face to the children.
