Chapter 22

"Give it to me." said Keynand. Without Viona's consent, Keynand immediately takes over her daughter from Viona's arms.

Until their heads clashed. Viona and Keynand's reflexes compactly smiled until their views met and locked for a moment.

Viona felt awkward being close to Keynand and the distance was so close. Moreover, Keynand continued to look at him with a difficult to interpret gaze. Suddenly Viona immediately turned her gaze in any direction.

Why is my heart beating like this. Viona's inner self while biting her lower lip.

While Keynand himself seemed mediocre who was holding his daughter. He gently rubbed his daughter's puffed cheeks that looked flushed. His daughter smiled back and looked at his father's face.

"Honey, you miss the father." said Keynand smiled faintly who invited his daughter to talk and looked as if his daughter was chiming in with her father's words.

Keynand laughed at his daughter's voice. Keynand was so happy to see his daughter grow up. Then he kissed his daughter's two cheeks repeatedly with a very happy feeling.

Viona who was standing next to him was only able to exhale violently and was engrossed in watching Keynand interact with his daughter.

"Viona!"

"Yes, what's wrong" said Viona quickly with a frown. Rarely did Keynand call his name.

"I forgot to take my briefcase, take it in my study." - ordered Keynand, shaking his hand, told Viona to leave.

"Well" said Viona and rushed towards the Keynand workspace on the second floor.

Meanwhile Keynand was so happy to hold his daughter, even his face was beaming. Keynand decided to take his daughter to the porch for a brief sunbathing while waiting for his secretary to finish breakfast.

Not long after, Viona was seen walking hastily down the stairs while carrying Keynand's briefcase. When at the end of the stairs, Viona suddenly tripped and made her body balance so good that she almost fell.

Fortunately a burly hand caught his body. Viona turned to see who had helped her.

"Alex!" his murmur was jolted at the man who had helped him.

"You all right? are you okay, Viona?" alex asked in a worried tone, even his gaze was hard to interpret staring at Viona, making Viona instantly lower her gaze and slowly move away from her.

"Yes, I'm fine, Alex. Thank you for helping me." said Viona smiling.

"Right, you're fine, Viona." Alex said worriedly and again clarified while holding Viona's shoulders. Really Alex was so worried about the condition of the woman he had admired, but he tried to eliminate the feelings that had stopped in his heart.

"Yes I'm fine. You are, look, no one is hurt on my body." said Viona smiled as she showed off her queen teeth and her smile was sweet, making Alex charmed.

It was unexpected that a pair of eyes were watching them. Until a sly grin appeared on that person's face.

"Wow a very beautiful sight. I will use this opportunity to carry out my plan. There seems to be a love triangle in this villa. I'm going to create a war between two men and one woman that looks like it's going to be fought. Where they will later be hostile, between superiors and subordinates. I think this is the best way to teach that babu guy a lesson. Once I testify I will destroy two people at once. It's really interesting, I hope my plan works, ha ha ha." said the man with a sly grin on his face and that person was none other than Laurent.

"Give me the bag, let me carry Mr. Keynand's bag." Alex smiled faintly.

"But...." Viona did not continue her words because she heard Keynand's voice yelling at her.

"Yes, take this. Don't let your boss get angry." said Viona smiled thinly and Alex immediately took the bag in Viona's hand.

"Don't say that, isn't he your husband" Alex smiled tipy in a whispering voice. He did not dare to speak of his master.

Viona was only able to smile in response to Alex's remark, then she stepped towards the door. Alex moved quickly behind him, so they were seen walking side by side towards the door. They look familiar to each other. Because they won, they already knew each other.

"I'm going to work." said Keynand coldly, as if to say goodbye to Viona. While Viona did not make her speech, Viona just stared at the face of baby Daisy who looked so happy to be in her father's arms.

Keynand kissed his daughter's forehead affectionately. She feels she can't get far with her daughter, then asks Viona to take her daughter. He has to go to the office.

Slowly Viona reaches out her hands to retrieve baby Daisy from Keynand's sling. Until finally baby Daisy is back in her arms and Viona immediately smiles and is so happy every time with baby Daisy, her stepson.

Then Keynand stepped into his car. Alex opens the car door for her.

"Be careful" said Viona, mimicking the voice of a young child, as if baby Daisy was the one speaking to her father. Even Viona touched baby Daisy's fingers and held her up high to wave her towards Keynand.

Keynand immediately stopped his steps when he heard Viona's voice, then he turned to face Viona. Keynand frowned at the behavior of those who were so familiar and looked very funny according to him.

Until suddenly the corner of Keynand's lips lifted into a thin smile. Keynand's reflexes also raised one hand to wave his hand at Viona holding her daughter.

However, Keynand quickly lowered his hand which had been raised because he felt his behavior was so ridiculous to the captive woman.

Keynand rushed into the car. Then followed by Alex who also rushed into the car and sat on the steering wheel. After that, Alex started driving his car away from the place.

Two weeks later....

Keynand and Viona's relationship changes slightly thanks to baby Daisy. Although actually Keynand still act cold even so indifferent to Viona, but slowly Keynand's attitude began to change to the woman captive, and vice versa with Viona.

They begin to understand each other's role as parents to baby Daisy. But sometimes Keynand is so selfish and always attach importance to his own interests with his daughter without wanting to care about Viona. To her Viona remains her captive woman, nothing more.

Laurent is secretly working out a plan. He begins to observe Viona and Alex's movements. They become the main targets of his plan to destroy Viona and Keynand's marriage.

To be precise tonight, Laurent will execute his plan to trap Viona and Alex. Laurent looked back and forth in his room and occasionally peeked in his bedroom window to see the arrival of Keynand's car that never came.

Because when Keynand comes home, Alex will also go home automatically. They are superiors and subordinates who are so close like lovers.

"Hoaamm!" it's upset Laurent who's sleepy. He stared at the clock on the wall, which showed at 11pm.

"Damn it, I don't want my plan to fail tonight." Laurent muttered and yawned again and again.

Unfortunately, Laurent is no longer able to

restrained drowsiness. Unfortunately his sleepiness was not friendly for the time being. Laurent immediately threw his body on the bed and it did not take long he was asleep.
