Chapter 76 S2

Jo arrives at Jessica's apartment after a long journey. Jo just went inside. Because Jo already knows the password of her lover's apartment.

Jo sees the stuff strewn across the living room. Just go straight to the room. Jo was wide-eyed when she saw Jessica. The rooms are cluttered, drinking bottles and tissue decorate the rooms.

Jessica fell asleep with puffy eyes and disheveled hair. Jo stroked the face of the lover who had been with him for five years.

Jo peeps at Jessica's forehead. "I'm sorry, Jes." Jo said softly, it was heartless to tell Jessica the truth.

Jo cleaned up all the scattered bottles and tissues. Everything Jo neat included in the living room. Finished with the task, Jo went back into the bedroom.

"Jes ...."

Jo stroked her lover's face. Jessica squirms, she rubs her eyes to open. Jessica was shocked when she saw Jo in front of her.

"Jo .. Are you here?" Jessica turned her face. He doesn't want to see Jo. "Go .. go with your affair."

Jo grabs Jessica's hand and kisses her. "Jes .. I'll explain everything to you."

Jessica looked down at Jo's face. "What else do you want to explain?"

"Jes .. I'm in a match with Hera. She was my ex-boyfriend when I was in school. I hate him so much. I really don't want to accept this matchmaking" said Jo.

"What ...your papa arranged it all?" ask Jessica.

Jo nodded. "Yes .. Papa set it up."

Jessica smiled bitterly at it. Mr. Wijaya, he never liked it. Jessica is not a person. He became the backbone to support his family.

Mr. Wijaya does not like Jessica's profession of work. His appearance and behavior, did not fit the criteria of the ideal son-in-law of the Wijaya family.

Jessica shed her tears. He loves Jo very much. A few months later, his contract expired. After that, Jo promised to marry her. But the dream of marriage is gone. Jo already has a wife.

Jessica wiped her tears. "Jo .. We better end this relationship. You already have a wife. I don't want to be shackled in uncertainty."

Jo is shocked to hear the words that just came out of Jessica's sweet lips. "Jes .. You don't joke!"

Jessica nodded. "No, Jo. Our relationship from the beginning never got our blessing." Jessica sobbed, it really hurt her heart to have to talk like that. "Jo .. I beg you, there's nothing we can do anymore."

Jessica knows very well who Mr. Wijaya is. She would do anything to have Jo separate from Jessica. It's just a matter of keeping up the relationship with Jo. What will happen will make many parties hurt.

Jo looked at Jessi. "Jes .. please, don't end our relationship. I love you, live with me."

Jo was wrong to reject him. Maybe he can refuse. But the Wijaya family is his family now. They give Jo affection like a real child. Gave him the big name he was holding. The company he now leads.

I can say this is Jo's favor. No, this is not a return. Wijaya's family always obeyed his wishes. Mama Rita always pampered herself. This was purely because Hera was a Doctor and the son of her papa friend.

Jo took the ring box behind his suit pocket. The ring was actually to propose to Jessica. He opened the ring box. Jo pinned the diamond ring to Jessica's ring finger.

He kissed the finger that had been pinned by the ring. "This is for you, I bought it to propose to you. Now I give it to a gift."

Jessica smiled at the ring finger. "Thank you, I'll always wear it."

They hugged back tightly. I don't want Jo and Jessica to be separated. What power, they're not a match. Maybe someday Jessica can get a better replacement than Jo.

"I want to spend the whole day with you" said Jo.

Jessica nodded. "I'll accompany you all day."

Jessica went into the bathroom. He would accompany Jo all day as a friend. Jessica came out of the bathroom after changing clothes and tidying herself up.

"Come .. let's go," Jessica asked.

Jo nodded. "Come ...."

Jo and Jessica get out of the apartment. They go to places they have been to. They shop, eat and selfie. Even Jessica bought a gift of lingerie for Hera.

Jo didn't want to actually accept that. Not wanting to disappoint Jessica, she accepted the gift. Jessica looks so happy. Jo knew that happiness was only to cover up her sadness.

Jessica is a very nice woman. Jo hopes her ex-boyfriend will get a man who surpasses her. Although Jo still does not want to be separated from him. She will always remember every memory with Jessica.

"Jo .. I hope you love Hera. Open a new page" Jessica said.

Jo grabbed Jessica's hand. "Jes .. are you sure, with this decision of yours?"

Jessica nodded. "I'm sure. We're starting a new life." Jessica gave her sweetest smile. "Thank you, you've been with me for 5 years."

Jessica could not hold back her tears. Jo wiped away the melted tears on Jessica's cheeks. He kissed those two tears. Jessica closed her eyes and enjoyed Jo's kiss.

"I'm sorry, Jessica," said Jo.

Jessica nodded. "No .. This is no one's fault. It's just our destiny that can't be together."

Once again they hugged for the last time. Jessica was already unanimous in her decision to split up. Jo smiled bitterly as she recalled her words with Rita's mother. He said he would end his relationship with Jessica. Now the word is manifest. Jessica wants their relationship to end.
