Forced to Marry Duda

Forced to Marry Duda
EPISODE 51

The tall, strapping man in a leather jacket got out of his car as he nearly ran over a woman while driving. The young man in his thirties, immediately crouched down, grabbed both Arumi's shoulders and shook it to resuscitate Arumi.

"Miss, Are you okay?" ask her with a British accent that is so thick.

Arumi's head looked up, showing the appearance of his messy face with a circle of tears that were still flowing on the cheekbones.

"Yes, a' okay." Reply Arumi stammered.

Unable to see the state of Arumi, a handsome-looking man with hair that is so neatly sideways offers Arumi to be checked into the nearest hospital.

However, Arumi immediately refused by shaking her head confidently. She said she was fine, and just a little bit in shock. But, the man with a height of 180 cm, seems to lack confidence. How not, the man clearly saw Arumi's two bloody knees, as well as her deathly pale face. Cold sweat also flowed so profusely on the forehead rim. He couldn't have just left Arumi. Moreover, all this happens because of the act of driving while playing mobile phone.

"If you don't want me to take you to the hospital. Let me take you home."

Arumi's head looked up, looking back at the handsome face of the man in front of her. He was a little surprised because it turned out that the man in front of him was so fluent in Indonesian. And, if you think about it, according to Arumi this man is very similar to the Chainsmokers personnel who again hits it.

"I can't possibly leave you in this state of chaos." Further.

Arumi regained her senses and immediately checked herself. He did indeed look so chaotic, with wounds on the knees, tears mixed with sweat. Really, he looks so pathetic. Arumi immediately got up while wiping off her rough tears and grimacing in pain from the wound on her knee.

"I'm fine. My house is close by." Arumi. It still continued to try to reject the good offer of the man in front of him. "Again, I was wrong. I ran and crossed without looking left and right."

"But still, you're hurt because of me. Please don't make me feel more guilty about you turning down my offer. At the very least, let me treat the wound on your leg. After that it's up to you."

A moment Arumi weighed. He saw the handsome man with blond hair in front of him. The man continued to smile at Arumi, and continued to try to persuade Arumi by staring innocently at the woman.

"alright. We're going to a cafe near here. You can treat my leg wounds. After that, let me go home by myself." Finally Arumi relented and granted one of the wishes of the man in front of her.

They finally headed to a cafe located not far from the traditional market. The cafe was quite quiet, it was good for Arumi. He would not be too embarrassed to come with such a mess as now.

Assisted by the man earlier, Arumi limped towards one of the cafe benches. A servant approached the two men there immediately. Proposing the menu book that Arumi immediately rejected by saying.

"Give me any food in this cafe. My stomach is really hungry."

The waiter was a little confused, but immediately left by taking down Arumi's order.

"Slow your legs." The man squatted under the table.

Take out the p3k bag he took from inside his car. Patently, the man cleaned the wound on Arumi's knee with alcohol liquid. Then wash it again until clean, before then dripping red medicine and closing the wound using a wound plaster. After he finished, the man sat on the bench right in front of Arumi.

"How does it feel? Does it still hurt?"

Arumi's head shook. "No. It's been quiet, huh."

"Goodoo. After that finish your breakfast, so that later if on the road you cry again your stomach will not sting."

Arumi clucking. The man in front of her was mocking her. Upset, Arumi was only able to throw her face out the cafe window.

"Marco." The man stuck out his hand.

Arumi turned her head while frowning.

"My name is Marco."

"Ah. Arumid. I'm arumi." Arumi accepted the man named Marco shyly. They finally met and chatted until the food came.

"So you're British?" Arumi was amazed, when he found out if Marco was British and was living in Indonesia because of something.

"Yes. My parents are from liverpool. But it's been three and a half years, they moved to London because of my father's job."

Marco lowered his head for a moment. Playing with his coffee cup while smiling bitterly.

"Just calm down?"

Arumi was getting curious.

"For?"

Marco turned his head to look at Arumi with a face of disbelief. Apparently, the woman in front of him was a person who had such great curiosity.

"Love."

Kali Arumi clucked and looked at Marco with a look of disbelief.

"Is your love here?"

"No, no, no."

"Then?"

Marco took a long breath. "One year ago my fiancee passed away, just a week before our wedding due to cancer. She's just like you, a beautiful Indonesian. He once told me about his biggest dream. Living and being Balinese."

"And to make his wish come true, are you willing to live in Bali?" suddenly Arumi guessed.

Marco smiled bitterly. "Indonesian women are good at heart reading."

Arumi's heart was broken. There was pain in his chest and regret for being imposted by Marco's personal life. He bowed down, pursing his petty nature inwardly.

"Is ok, Arumi. He is now quiet in nature with God. I'm sure, he must be happy and no longer feel the pain of the world."

Arumi's tears almost fell. Fortunately, he was able to hold back immediately.

"And you, yourself, why run crying like that, huh?"

Arumi threw her face back staring out the cafe window. Seeing the pedestrians passing by crowded the city of Seminyak in the morning by noon.

"I just met my dad's ex-lover. Ah not–no." Arumi's head shook his head and he was destitute of her words. "But more precisely my father's first wife. Maybe you could say, my mom was the one who cheated on my dad before."

Now replace, Marco who is curious about personal problems that Arumi experienced.

"Then what's the problem?" Staring fixedly at Arumi's face impatiently waiting for his answer.

Arumi looked at the ceiling of the cafe. I don't know why his tears suddenly came out again and just got bigger.

"There's a deep sense of guilt and I can't pay him anything."

Marco silent a thousand languages. Still faithful to hear the story of Arumi.

"I haven't sworn with him in a long time. And I thought, she was dead. But it turns out I was wrong. I was reunited with him here, in his fragile state with no one by his side."

"I have an older brother whose face is very similar to mine. But his character is much different from mine. He and I are like heaven and earth. At first I thought it was natural, because everyone has a different disposition. However, until one night while I was still in college I heard my parents quarrel saying that my brother was not my mother's son."

Arumi sighed for a moment. His chest hurt, but he tried to hold it.

"Since then, I hated my father. We were never me and always in conflict. Finally, I decided to leave my home and settle in Yogyakarta to establish a cosmetics company. I never heard from my parents or that woman. At first I thought well, until exactly one month ago my mom called and told me my dad was in an accident and coleps."
