Episode 27 ~ Spicy Cuisine

...🌹🌹🌹...

"Aldha.. Please prepare Mom's suitcase!"

Sabrina seemed increasingly unsettled if she had not seen what happened exactly as Sonia said on her phone this morning. Somehow now the mother of two children was eager to catch up with Aliyya and wanted to make sure for herself how things were going.

Aldha who got the advice from his mother rushed to Sabrina.

"Where are you going with a suitcase?" asked Aldha who was confused while putting down the suitcase.

"Mothers... I'd like to visit your sister at her in-laws' house. But you don't say this to your father. I will go alone and you should be able to keep the house." replied Sabrina who looked doubtful.

"Mothers... Mom's okay, isn't she? Are you hiding something from Dad? Then why is Mom's plan so sudden and won't take me or Dad?" asked the curious Aldha as he grabbed the mother's shoulder.

Sabrina was silent. Where could he possibly tell all that Sonia told him over the phone to Aldha. Not afraid that Aldha would tell Galuh, but he was afraid that the second princess would be saddened to hear the bad news about her brother's marriage.

Seeing Sabrina who was silent, Aldha was even more astonished and convinced that the mother was covering something from him and Galuh.

"Mother..."

"There's nothing, honey. I just want to give your sister the things that are left here. Who knows, he really needs those things" replied Sabrina, who tried to convince Aldha.

"Those things can be sent through packages only, ma'am. You don't have to go there alone unless you take me there." said Aldha who chuckled with his face.

"That's what you want! Fuck up!" sabrina answered while patting the princess on the forehead.

Aldha also snorted amusedly when getting the treatment from Sabrina. While Sabrina himself was relieved because Aldha did not really want to know what problems he was trying to cover. After being satisfied with his mother's teasing, Aldha went and came out of Sabrina's room.

Drrrrt!

Not long after Aldha left, Sabrina's phone suddenly shook. Then he picked up the phone and talked to someone. Sabrina's face was instantly pias when talking to someone across the street. Not long after, the conversation ended.

"Airplane tickets to Jakarta are very expensive. I don't have enough money to buy one ticket."

It turned out that the person who contacted Sabrina was the plane ticket seller. Before asking Aldha to prepare a suitcase, he had first asked the price of one ticket for him to go to Jakarta. But after knowing the ticket price is expensive, Sabrina also undoes her intention to follow Aliyya to Jakarta. Not because he could not afford a ticket, but was afraid that the husband would know his intention to go to the big city alone.

"I'd better ask Zein directly about this matter first. I'm sure that Zein didn't intend to divorce my daughter. Sonia must have misunderstood."

Sabrina who was still not calm was trying her hardest to calm down. Rough breath was blown and occasionally he massaged his chest to do self-soothing therapy.

"Yes, Brother Sonia must have misunderstood."

After a long walk in the park, Umar and Zein have now returned home. The two men are different generations and the age is walking hand in hand to enter the house. As the two were busy walking in, Aliyya who had just come out of the kitchen came out so they passed each other.

Umar smiled to see that his nephew was fine after the embarrassing incident last night. While Aliyya smiled at Umar and glanced sharply at Zein. The gazes of the two were locked again and as usual they often did, threw a sharp gaze filled with hatred. Zein, who was caught off guard by the gaze, chose to leave from the presence of his wife.

"Papa.." said a smiling Aliyya.

"You're okay, aren't you, sweetheart?" ask Umar who approached his nephew and favorite daughter-in-law.

"Since last night Papa must have been thinking about me. Aye, right? Papa don't worry anymore. I must be fine. Don't worry about me too much, Pa. After what happened last night, I promise!!! I'll never break Papa and Mama's trust again. I won't embarrass you anymore." said Aliyya who tried to calm Umar.

"Papa believes in you, son." replied Umar as he gently rubbed Aliyya's hair.

"Thank you Pa..."

Umar nodded and smiled. Then he moved in front of Aliyya. While the beautiful girl who came from Jogja also smiled with relief. At least there is still Umar as a father-in-law and uncle for himself in the house, and most importantly Umar strongly believes himself if all the allegations of theft are not true.

"Hopefully the accusation will be exposed immediately."

Aliyya let out a long sigh and walked towards the kitchen to pick up the food she had prepared for Zein. Not intentionally to make the food, but to do something to her stubborn husband. With a mischievous and sly smile, Aliyya also walked towards Zein's room and happened to be able to cross paths with Umar who was walking to his study. The sly idea of Aliyya also appeared instantly when he saw Umar.

"Lad..."

Umar who was walking stopped his steps and turned to the source of the voice. While Aliyya seemed to smile widely and rushed to Umar.

"Where are you going to take the food, son?" tanya Umar who saw a tray and a bowl of food in his hand.

"I want to give this food to Zein, Pa. Mother said, a wife must give food every morning to her husband. This is a typical food of Jogja and Zein should eat this food." replied Aliyya with a face of melas.

"Then you bring it to your room. Maybe your husband is still in the room." said Umar who did not understand Aliyya's attitude.

"But Pa, I'm afraid Zein won't eat this. Papa can help me, right?" replied Aliyya who with her face slit it.

"Alright, Papa will accompany you to give the food to Zein. Come on!!!" said Umar who laughed amusedly to see Aliyya and then walked.

Aliyya smiled more and more satisfied to hear the words of Umar who obeyed his request. Then they walked up the stairs, towards Zein's room. As the two reached the door of Zein's open room, they saw Zein fresh out of the bathroom with a handsome appearance.

"Zein.. Are you still here?" umar said as he walked in and was followed by Aliyya.

"Yes, why Pa? replied Zein who was astonished and confused by the arrival of Umar and Aliyya behind him.

"What a coincidence! Papa wants to ask you to do something. You want to, don't you?" said Umar who looked at Zein and smiled.

"What does Papa want me to do?" asked Zein who was getting curious and glanced at Aliyya.

"Papa wants you to eat your wife's cooking. Because your aunt said that a husband must eat food made by his wife. It's a sign that you still appreciate your wife. You want to eat this, right? Aliyya has taken pains to cook for you. You have to eat it!!!" ''Umar answered, turning to Aliyya.

Zein who was careless also saw Aliyya's cooking. Instantly his eyes were perfectly rounded when he saw the cuisine that was not foreign to him. While Aliyya only smiled with satisfaction when she saw the shocked expression on her husband's extremely annoying face.

"But Pa, I can't eat these dishes. Papa knows for himself, doesn't he? If I can't eat spicy food since I was a kid? Aliyya's cuisine is spicy, Pa." Zein's whiskers trying to dodge and avoid the food.

"Papa knows, Zein. When you were a kid, you were not married. So you can refuse not to eat spicy food." replied Umar.

The annoyed Zein snorted in annoyance as he glanced at his wife. While Aliyya who noticed the look on Zein's face since then seemed to try hard to hold back her laughter.

"Come Zein!!! Eat your wife's cooking!!!" exclaimed Umar while giving the food.

"All right Pa..."

Aliyya and Umar who saw it just looked at each other and smiled. Umar was relieved that his son was willing to eat his wife's cooking, while Aliyya smiled with satisfaction at being able to return the husband.

"You just keep your husband here. Papa wants to meet your mama first downstairs." said Umar as he grabbed Aliyya's shoulder.

"Yes Pa.." replied Aliyya while nodding.

A smiling Umar leaves his son's room and leaves Aliyya with Zein in it.

"I'm not strong anymore." cried Zein who was spiciness while putting the food on the table.

"Pa... Zein doesn't want to finish the food I made!!!" it was Pekik Aliyya who called Umar.

"Kh!!! This is all just your plan, isn't it?" zein's murmur is getting more and more pungent and pungent.

"If it's true why? I did deliberately make this spicy food to avenge all your deeds that always make my tears flow!!! Now I am satisfied to see your tears even because of spicy food. At least you also shed tears like me. So, our score is now the same." said Aliyya who stared intently at her husband.

"Kh!!! What a beloved nephew!!!" zein left and left Aliyya.

Aliyya who saw Zein's expression resisting the spicy taste let out a laugh. It was so satisfying to see such a shitty enemy in his life crying and panicking just from feeling spicy on his tongue. Indeed, the look of Zein's red face managed to make Aliyya wafted off. After Zein left, Aliyya also tasted the food because since then she only felt the taste when she saw Zein.

"Huh, huh, huh!!! It feels like a fire. This food is so spicy!!!"

Aliyya also felt spicy on her tongue. Then he rushed out of the room to the kitchen to pick up a drink that could eliminate the spicy taste.

"Do I have to ask Zein?"

Sabrina still looked uneasy in the room as she remembered Sonia's words. The fate of his daughter's marriage is threatened that really makes him can not calm down.

"If I don't ask Zein this, then I won't be able to calm down. Looks like I should ask Zein."

With strength of heart and courage, Sabrina grabbed her phone on the nightstand and searched for Zein's mobile number.

"Assalamualaikum Bi..."

"Wa'alaikumsalam Zein's. How are you doing, honey?" asked Sabrina who was trying to calm down.

"I'm fine, Bi. How are aunt and uncle there? Are you guys all right?" asked Zein who stopped his steps and still looked pungent because of Aliyya.

"Auntie, Uncle and Aldha are fine. Aunty just wanted to ask you something, Zein?" answer Sabrina who got up from her seat.

"What do you want to ask?" zein asked as he flicked his hand at his tongue that still felt hot and spicy.

"Do you really want to divorce your wife?" ask Sabrina who can't talk anymore.

Zein was surprised to hear the aunt's question. The spicy taste that flared in his mouth seemed to evaporate just like that because the divorce problem that had spoken spontaneously had reached Sabrina's ears.

"Auntie.." said Zein who was suddenly nervous and did not know what to explain to the aunt.

"Jawab it, Zein!!! Auntie wants to listen to the answer that came out directly from your lips!!! After thinking long enough, Aunt finally ventured to ask him directly to you. Your uncle here is not a rich man, but he still has his pride. He would not have been able to accept this bad news if it was true. If the news is true, then today too Auntie will come there and bring Aliyya home with Auntie!!!" said Sabrina who knows since when her eyes wet.

Zein was silent when she heard Sabrina's raucous voice and cried. His affection for the aunt made his heart unbearable. The panicked Zein tried to give the aunt an answer. While Sabrina's tears are currently getting heavier on her face due to tightness and fear of hearing her son-in-law's answer.

"Auntie. since Aliyya came into my life, it feels like my life is ruined. Aliyya is trying to take whatever I have in this house. My room was also taken, as if he were the original owner of the room. He was always looking for trouble with me, tidying up my room and tidying up all my belongings in the room. I really don't like that, Bi. Every time I forbid it, he always defies me and does something at will. I can't if it has to be like that, Bi. I don't like to see the powerful way in my room. He always carried things I didn't need, and when I wanted to go out, Papa suddenly asked Aliyya to me and told me not to leave Aliyya alone. How could I possibly be like that, Bi. It wasn't my style but Papa still forced me." said Zein who was still sad and revealed his heart to the aunt.

"So that's why you want to divorce Aliyya?" asked Sabrina who was growing weeping and scared.

"Auntie. No, Bi!!! I won't leave Aunt's daughter that easily!!! Aliyya is married to me and I just want her to know what her husband looks like. So Auntie don't worry anymore." replied Zein who tried to calm her aunt down.

It was already a heavy burden that had been squeezing Sabrina since this morning. His worry now seemed to evaporate just like that after hearing the answer directly from Zein's mouth. What he had been worried about since wasn't right.

"Is that really Zein? So what Sonia's sister said isn't true, is it?" ask Sabrina who wants to be sure.

Zein was silent again when he heard the name of the mother called by Sabrina. Now Zein understood why Sabrina contacted him and asked him this.

"Auntie don't worry. Mama must have misunderstood." replied Zein who convinced Sabrina.

"Bibi's heart has completely calmed down, Zein. Thank you for being honest with Auntie. Take good care of yourself, son. Assalamualaikum." said Sabrina who was relieved and happy to hear all the explanations Zein.

"Wa'alaikumsalam.." replied Zein.

After hanging up the phone, Zein fell silent again. Somehow he felt so guilty about Sabrina for the embarrassing incident at the reception last night. For a long time he was silent, eventually Zein walked down the stairs and headed to Sonia's room.

"Zein. Let's help Mama to choose some food menu that Mama should put in the recipe book this time." said Sonia who was engrossed without turning to Zein.

"Why Ma? Why did Mama do that?" asked Zein who was still standing and saw the busyness of the mother in front of him.

"Because Mama trusts you, son. Let's help Mama! Your choice will definitely be put into the cookbook." replied the busy Sonia.

"It's not about the food menu book, Ma!" said Zein who is now standing behind the mother.

Sonia fell silent and stopped her activities when she heard Zein's words. Without looking back at the son standing behind her, Sonia seemed to put on an illegible look.

"Mommy shouldn't have told Aunt Sabrina about the divorce!!!"
