Chapter 13 The Stranger

Devan has been working in the office for a few days after he stopped working in the business world but because of Farhan, he returned to work and took care of all the company files. However, who would have thought Devan's presence even made someone feel rivaled, who else if not Dylon. Dylon feels rivaled and disliked by Devan back to work in the company even though everyone knows that the company is Farhan's legacy to Devan, but Dylon does not want the company to be taken over to Devan because he thinks the person who deserves to hold the company is himself not Devan.

Devan was controlling with a Singapore client with Andreas pushing his wheelchair. On the other side Dylon saw that from a distance, an evil thought suddenly flashed through his mind as it was envious of Devan's success.

" Thank you, Mr. Devan, I'm very happy to be working with you" said the older man. Devan smiled slightly and returned the man's hand. " I also thank you because you have entrusted me to handle your business" said Devan

The man smiled and rushed away as well as Devan. Devan tells Andreas to take him to his private room, where Devan rests his body against the wall of the chair. Devan rested his body for a moment, but inexplicably Aisyah's face suddenly appeared in his mind when it made the eyelids open again.

Devan lashed out at him slowly trying to eliminate Aisyah's face in his mind, Andreas who saw her master's strange behavior felt confused. " Sir, are you okay?" ask Andreas worried.

" I'm not papa" replied Devan coldly. Andreas nodded in understanding.

" Andreas..?"

" Yes sir?"

" Have you ever thought of anyone?" devan asked that made Andreas squint his eyes.

" I was so focused on work that maybe I thought of someone else sir," Andreas' answer made Devan who heard him annoyed, it turns out he was wrong to talk about feelings to Andreas.

" But sir, before I work with you. I never let go of thinking about a woman I loved so much, I really thought that I was crazy because every second and minute I always thought about that girl, but after working with the master I can forget about the girl," continued Andreas

" What's wrong, sir? Are you thinking about your wife?" Devan is shocked when he hears Andreas's correct guess, but Devan is too prestigious to tell the truth. Devan dodged Andreas and said firmly if he did not think about Aisyah at all, but Andreas was a man just like Devan so he knew how Devan was feeling right now.

" Mister is not wrong if we fall in love. I'm sure you've started to fall in love with Aisyah" Andreas said, drawing the eagle's eyes.

" You know what you're about me? I don't love him. Instead I want to end this relationship immediately" Devan said

Andreas chuckles a little hearing Devan's words. " Never regret what you have done. To be honest, a woman has a weakness, she will stop fighting if she feels that her struggle is never appreciated. So, master do not waste a truly sincere woman to master because if he leaves master will definitely regret it." said Andreas who got a cynical look from his interlocutor

" What do you mean? Now you're starting to dare to lecture your own boss so?"

" No sir, what I say and do is all for the good of you. I don't want things to happen that I don't want to happen" Andreas said. Devan was silent to hear Andreas' words, indeed all Andreas' words had a point but Devan still could not realize that now he had started to have feelings for Aisyah.

The next day Devan as usual went to work with Farhan. Dylon always refused to leave along with reasoned other affairs, but the truth is he did not want to leave one car with Devan.

Linda tells Aisyah to deliver food for Devan, Farhan and Dylon's lunch. That afternoon Aisyah went to Devan's office to give them lunch, when in the lobby many pairs of eyes that pay attention to Aisyah because it saw Aisyah look very beautiful and of course all employees know that Aisyah is the wife of the CEO.

While heading towards the room Devan suddenly from the side of Dylon came and approached Aisyah, the reflex made Aisyah uncomfortable. Aisyah walked towards the elevator with Dylon who was also in the elevator, there was seen Dylon who tried to approach Aisyah and invite a chat but Aisyah did not respond too much, it was precisely Aisyah who completely silenced Dylon and wanted to get out of the elevator immediately.

" You're making this much food for Devan?" ask Dylon who didn't get any response.

" It's a pity, why didn't you give it to me? Aisha why are you so loyal to him? Obviously there's a better man than him but why did you choose him?" tanya Dylon looked at Wjaah Aisha. Aisyah let out a slightly rough breath and turned to look at Dylon.

" I'm sorry are all your words important for me to answer?" Dylon fell silent at Aisha's brief words.

" Dylon enough!" Sarkas Aisyah had run out of patience.

" Are you really out of your mind, Dylon? What's on your mind, actually. I really don't understand why Devan has such a good heart that he still wants to accept you at his house" Aisyah said

" Well you said? You are just a foreign woman in her life. You think I don't know what's going on between you guys huh?"

" A couple sleeping separately. Do you think you are a couple? Not Aisha, the person you deserve to call insane is you! You still survive your life like this? Realize that Aisyah the man you adore like an angel never loved you and then why did you stay in that house huh?" The words of Dylon managed to make Aisyah speechless.

" You're just a son-in-law without a husband. That guy never considered you a wife, are you stupid huh?" As if slapped Aisyah held back her tears that thrashed wanting to come out. The elevator door was wide open, soon Aisyah might leave the elevator leaving Dylon smiling smrik there.

On a small balcony Aisyah pensively thought of Dylon's words. All the words of Dylon really hurt him, this is the first time that someone has awakened himself to the position. Aisyah cried loudly on the balcony, fortunately there was no one there so that no one would know and hear that Aisyah was crying.

" Why am I holding out? Dylon is a stranger. I'm really a stranger in that house" murmured Aisyah sitting limp in there. Aisyah hugged her knees tightly with a sobbing for the sake of the sobbing that came out of her lips.

Suddenly her phone rang, Aisyah reached into her phone in the bag and saw Devan's name on the screen. Aisyah wiped her tears and regulated her breathing.

" yeah?"

" Where are you? You know we're starving here and it's waiting for you" Devan said in a slightly high tone

" I'm sorry I'm there soon" Aisyah rushed to Devan's room and sure enough there were Devan, Farhan, Andreas and Dylon.

Aisyah and Dylon's gaze met but only for a few seconds. Aisyah immediately might serve the food to the plate Devan and the others, after finishing Aisyah's bench and was about to leave but suddenly a hand held her reflex Aisyah turned her head towards that person.

" Where are you going?" tanya Devan is 99° different.

" You guys want to eat I don't want to bother you that's why I want to go out,"

" Sit!"

" But,"

" Sit Ayesha," said Devan firmly. Aisyah sat next to Devan with her lowered face not daring to stare at the person beside her. While Dylon who saw Aisyah's facial expression smiled happily.

" Have you eaten?" asked Devan coldly. Aisyah shook her head in response

" You here, you came here to bring us food but you haven't eaten yet?"

" I'm not hungry, man,"

" Your lips are not hungry but your stomach is hungry" Devan said. Devan moved his hand and told Aisyah to open her mouth suddenly it made everyone gawk including Aisyah.

" Open your mouth Aisha,"

" But here..." Aisyah's words were hanging. Devan glanced around and realized that there were many pairs of eyes watching him. " I ate it myself!" said Devan gave his spoon to Aisyah.

Farhan and Andreas hold back a laugh when they see Devan's behavior is different from Dylon who does not like what he sees. While on the other hand Aisyah was confused by Devan's attitude, was all this a trick because there was Farhan there?
