Chapter 11 Does he not care?

Hearing Aisyah's screams everyone immediately ran down to approach the source of the sound. However, it seems like again and again Devan is having trouble getting down. Devan tried to get up from his wheelchair and fell to the floor because of his legs that could not hold his own body, Devan shouted angrily while hitting the floor and making his hands hurt. Devan was angry not because of his feet but because he could not help his wife.

While on the other hand Farhan turned on the lights of the house and saw Aisyah sitting in the corner while hugging her knees because of fear. Linda approached Aisyah and hugged her tightly, can Linda feel the fear that Aisyah is feeling right now through her body that is shaking violently. Linda led Aisyah to sit on the sofa and gave her a drink, a few minutes later Aisyah was calmer. Aisyah told clearly what happened immediately it made everyone surprised, Farhan who heard Aisyah's words immediately looked for the whereabouts of the depraved man but there was no one there. Before long Dylon came up with a disheveled condition like the typical waking person.

" What's going on? Why are nights like these you are noisier?" ask Dylon while rubbing his eyes.

" There was an outsider coming in and trying to harass Aisyah. Now Farhan was looking for that person" Linda replied as she stroked Aisyah's back.

" What?" said Dylon a little screamed in surprise. Dylon approached Aisyah and looked at her. " Aisyah she didn't really touch you, did she? Goddamn it, how dare he break into Kenzo's residence and harass his daughter-in-law." Angry Dylon.

" I don't know who he is all dark I can't see his face" Aisyah said.

" Now you rest' and calm yourself. Let all this father take care of," said Farhan who is Aisyah. But before that Aisyah was looking for someone she had not seen at all, all the family was there but not Devan. Aisyah felt sad because Devan wasn't there what could be because Devan didn't care about her? Aisyah immediately might brush off her dirty thoughts. Aisyah got up and rushed into the room with Linda leading her.

In the room Linda led Aisyah to the bed. Aisyah breathed a sigh of relief because it seemed like Devan knew the presence of her mother and slept on the bed, Linda left Aisyah to rest. After the departure of Linda Netra Aisyah now fell on the figure of the man who fell asleep to her back, her, Aisyah cried in silence she really felt very scared and needed someone beside her but seeing Devan being indifferent to her made a pain in Aisyah's heart.

Ayesha's little talk can be heard by Devan. Devan opened his eyes letting Aisyah cry, honestly, Devan really wanted to see the state of Aisyah and calm her but remembering the incident made her embarrassed and angry with herself who was useless as a husband.

A few minutes later Devan no longer heard the cry on the woman's lips. It turned out that Aisyah fell asleep in a sitting position whose body rested on the wall of the bed, after believing that the master was fast asleep Devan rose from his sleep and looked at the face of Aisha long ago. The trail of tears that were still there made Devan feel guilty, Devan's hand raised wiped those tears away.

Hearing the chat below made Devan angry because his wife was almost harassed by an outside man. Devan enveloped Aisyah's body to the chest and looked at her deeply.

" I'm sorry Aisyah, I'm really a useless husband. When you need me, I can just shut up and hope you are okay without doing anything. I'm really a useless man Aisyah, why do you want to stick with me who can't take care of you even take care of myself I can't" muttered Devan Iirih.

Devan got out of bed and got into a wheelchair. Devan walked towards the sofa and chose to sleep on the sofa, Devan slept while staring at Aisyah's face before long drowsiness attacked Devan following Aisyah in a dream.

The next day, Devan woke up early. Unlike usual Aisyah woke up late like this, until the time had shown at 08:00 but the master did not come down from his room. Everyone outside was spontaneous to ask her husband, while the husband did not know why Aisyah had not come out either.

" Where is Devan Aisyah? Why didn't he come down for breakfast?" ask Linda to her son.

" Aisyah is still sleeping Bun, I'll wake up later" Devan replied

Devan keeps the food on the nightstand and wakes Aisha up, but there is something strange inside Aisha. The pale face and hot body temperature made Devan shocked. " Aisha are you sick?" devan asked in panic

Aisyah did not answer, Aisyah's shrill voice could mean that she was really sick. Devan took the compress and compressed Aisyah's forehead, Aisyah's temperature was really very hot and did not go down and down making her have to contact her trust doctor to check on Aisyah's condition.

In the room now everyone gathered to see Aisyah's condition, the doctor was busy dealing with Aisyah. After a few minutes the doctor was done with his work and prescribed the medicine to Devan, Linda approached the bed and clasped Aisyah's hand tightly. " Dear you're not papa?" ask Linda to worry.

" I'm not papa kok bun. Ayesha was just dizzy," replied Ayesha lirih

" Aisyah if you need anything to say to me, I will help you," said Dylon who immediately got a sharp look from Devan. However, instead of being afraid Dylon even more happy and likes to tease him.

Everyone goes out of the room leaving Aisyah and Devan there. Seeing Devan suddenly reminds her of the events of the night.

[Does he really care the least about me?] murmured Aisyah in the heart.

" Did you hear what the doctor said? You have to rest a lot'. And now you have to have breakfast so you can take medicine" said Devan coldly.

Aisyah nodded and picked up the food on the nightstand. Aisyah ate the food just a few mouthfuls because she felt her stomach was bad and nauseous, after which Devan opened the medicine and gave it to Aisyah. Aisyah looked at Devan for a few seconds and took the medicine.

" Rest, don't think about homework. You're not a maid here!" devan said coldly and hurried away leaving Aisyah there by herself. But, not yet out the door suddenly Aisyah opened her voice and managed to stop Devan's steps.

" Yet last night did you know someone had come into the house?" Ask Aisyah. Devan was silent for a moment hearing Aisyah's words. " I'm sleeping, I don't know what's going on" Devan replied without looking at his interlocutor.

" Oh yeah I just remembered," said Aisyah instead of switching the conversation. " Is there more?" ask Devan

" Nothing!" Devan moved his wheelchair and hurried away from his room.

Devan went to the park behind his house. There Devan tried to learn to walk even though it was very difficult but remember Aisyah's words that made her motivation to get back up and try to recover, devan has repeatedly fallen, but it does not make Devan give up. Devan kept getting up and trying to learn to move his legs.
