...****************...

The atmosphere this morning was so empty. Since dinner last night everyone shut up, no one dared to open their voices. Only chews and ****** Shania's breath intersperses our silence. While Mommy just stares at the food on the plate without taste.

After my tears last night, I expect a lot of things from this family. Problems as complicated as anything if we solve them together there will always be a way out. That's the only hope I can trust right now. I want to re-establish our fractured domestic relationship. Especially Mother and Shania who were affected by the loss of the figure of the father who even two months, today.

Breakfast as a daily ritual is not pleasant. If this was the moment I was waiting for her presence, now it feels bland. Just run a routine every morning before we move. No joking, no laughter, no clutches echoing at the dinner table. It was the cold atmosphere that wrapped around us.

Is it just my feeling that our relationship looks like a stranger?

I saw Shania start coming down the stairs. His left hand was carrying a sling bag with books poking out while his right hand was busy rubbing his eyes. His face was still tangled a sign he wasn't cleaning himself.

Seeing me and Mother who had sat first at the dining table he greeted. "For Sister. Morning Bun," I smiled back.

"What time is it for sleep?"

"Not counting." Answer lightly.

Mother offered a piece of bread and chocolate jam that Shania received lazily. I glared to reprimand Shania's attitude but the Mother beside me stroked my hand and shook her head softly. Mother always stemmed our disputes that would take place.

In front of my seat, Shania was in so much distress. His hand was still rubbing his eyes while trying to smear the bread with jam. One more hand checked the textbooks in the bag.

Instead of scolding him for staying up all night I just approached him to help. "Here Brother help," my bargain that was replied by a nod.

My hands shrewdly began to smear Shania's jam making it easier for her two free hands to examine the book. I divided the bread into several pieces to make it easy to eat. I gave one mouthful to his mouth which he instantly voraciously instantaneously.

From the corner of my eye, Mommy smelled a smile at our interaction. I saw Mother smiling back at a glance. The smile spread to Shania who suddenly smiled as well.

"Mother so dinget first as a child, Brother likes nyuapin adek."

"Yes, Bun. Shania has always been a child in my eyes." I went back to feed Shania who was holding a glass of milk.

Shania drank it up to the toilet but left a white mark around her mouth. Reflex I took a handkerchief and wiped her lips.

"Dek, you're actually pretty know if his face is taken care of." My cetus is beside him.

"Make care of the face, skin care is expensive. Mending I bought a voucher for top-up." Mumbled annoyed.

"We are girls. Our assets are faces." My light.

Shania rounded her eyes at a glance after successfully closing the zipper of her bag. "Ngaca. You're not pretty very feeling." He slapped it while laughing.

"It seems that if you do not have a beautiful face, at least the body is clean, not scented unpleasant. Moreover, his brain is also not very dodol-dodol."

Shania looked at me expressionlessly. Long enough until I realized I was doing something stupid. Spontaneous, I shut my mouth unintentionally insinuating her loudly.

"Sir, I didn't mean to make-up"

"Bun, Shania's leaving first." Cut Shania.

"Shania," I called to chase after her. "Sister among ya," I bargained. Shania kept going without any intention to stop him.

"So, I'm sorry" I regretted making Shania stop at the door. I approached him and wrapped around his trembling shoulders. "Sister is sorry. Brother wrong. Brother already offended Shania." Sincerely said.

Shania didn't have to bother looking back, only her hands moved quickly to remove her shoulders from my arms.

"Can take me off, brother. I'm late again."

When our call changed to me-you that means we're not okay.

"It's sister interra, huh?" My bargain was returned to her head.

Shania approached the boy and spoke for a while. "Sister, let's take her sister?" Pinta the boy half-screamed which I replied with a nod.

"Be careful," the man simply replied with a wave before finally darting off the streets of the still deserted capital. At least a little bit of my worries disappeared. The guy who approached Shania wasn't a fucking delinquent. I waved my hand back even though their silhouette was lost in the street.

...****************...

Lunglai my feet stepped towards the dining room, lethargic helpless. In her seat, Mommy looks at me warmly. I still have a place I can call home.

"Thank you, sister, you're gonna understand Shania." He said as I sat next to him.

I'm nodding. "Yes, Bun. Well, Mother said, Shania's attitude has changed a little lately."

"Maklumi aja, Brother."

"Yes, Bun, okay. At this age it is time for puberty. Emotions are sometimes not in control. Time of self-search. Including me is still at that stage."

"Mother is glad you are getting older in addressing everything, Sister." I smiled and kissed Mother's cheek.

I rubbed my bread completely untouched. I just smeared Shania's bread and ignored my breakfast.

"Mother lately the house has become strange, right?" Reveal honest.

"How weird?"

"Yes, weird. Not usually rich. Mommy doesn't feel?"

Mother shakes.

"Si's time?" Manya make sure. Mother shook her head again.

I try to reveal the facts that have only been my own consumption. "Come, Bun. First, Bi Minah has not been back and forth to the house when she returned home for a long time three what was four months ago. Second, Father's driver and the artisans left. Thirdly..." Mommy and Shania behave strangely like they're hiding something, but I said nothing.

"That's just her brother's feeling. The problem of Bi Minah is not going back and forth Mother who refuses to come here again, including all the workers in this house." The light of Mother to me that actually makes me more surprised. A house this big if only tidied up by Mother one must be tired.

"That's Mommy saying Bi Minah?"

Mother stroked the top of my head. "Not fire but more to a temporary stop. Maybe someday you can call them again. Mother nyimpen all her contacts."

I'm shaking. "So who will clean the same house in whose yard we are?"

Mother showed off her serinya teeth which made me worry many times.

"Shania if you go home from school to help?"

I offended that lazy boy. His job is just gaming, eating, and snacks. I'll have to give him instructions occasionally so he doesn't defy.

"Rememememember Mother has never. All this time Mother who has done everything herself."

"Mother." My peek.

"Mother never told me."
