“Happy birthday to you!” just two. Only Raya and Aila were in this room. More precisely, the voice of Raya who filled this room when Aila was looking at her was in disbelief. “Happy birthday, Al!”
“Sister inget?” Aila enthusiastic.
“Blow the candle first,” Aila who sat on the sofa closed her eyes, she put her fingers together and tidied do’a. The man sitting on the floor followed him. “Three, two, one.”
The fire in the two candles representing the twenty-two-year-old figure was blown and died. Now, Raya took the two candles. Aila took a cake knife to cut it off.
One piece of Aila cake to give to Raya. On top of the piece of cake, Aila gave a special birthday fork that Raya prepared.
“Your hope, what?” Raya asked. Actually, Raya was quite curious about Aila who was quite covered with her. His brother never talked about the man he liked.
Does he really like Reza? But why not just say it with Raya. Her brother was ready to help Aila get close to Reza.
“Declaration,” said brief. “Kak Raya when to fly again?” Aila put the second piece of cake, then ate it.
“Lusa,” Raya yawned due to her drowsiness. “Oh yes, you took an internship where?”
It is not usual for both of them to start discussing college and work like this. But, somehow all of it came out of the mouth of the Kingdom that could not be controlled.
“In his office Bang Daren,” he replied.
Kingdom gawking, “You can get it directly?” as Raya remembers, her sister has only been looking for an internship company since last week. Know that it has its place.
“Can, lah. There will be an insider,” Aila chuckles. “I then went to Bang Daren about the acceptance of internships, uh it turns out Bang Daren can go directly to the company,”
“There must be a negotiation event, nih” said Raya suspiciously. The woman looked at Aila with a probing gaze, but it was useless if Aila was not afraid.
“Of course. Brother knows not what Bang Daren asked for, what?” Aila invited him to play guessing. Wh-wh-what for? The Kingdom itself does not even know the reason at all.
“Ya for sure I don't know,” replied Raya.
“Bang Daren requested in tell schedule Kak Raya,” eyes Raya glared.
“You tell me all the schedules? Do you know?” aila's answer begins with a slit.
“I do not know about the exact schedule, but Bang Daren just asked to be told that Kak Raya is on holiday.” Raya narrowed her eyes. Doubtful about his own answer. “Serious just told you so doang,”
“But, Daren did not meet me, tuh” replied Raya who this time got a soft look from her sister.
“You are really excited to meet Bang Daren?” kekeh Aila's.
“I mean, not that, Al.” timpal Kingdom. “I'm still-dwelling with Daren,”
“Lho, not yesterday meeting?”
“Iya, I picked up his son yesterday. Eating too. Then, all of a sudden, he just came to pick up Rachel doang. Though, there I am next to Rachel!” Raya. “What's worse, he didn't say thank you!”
“No, coke. He is sensitive!” The grandeur as much as possible distracts Aila. He did not want his sister to start talking about Daren, which he thought was quite private.
The cake that Aila had taken, was finally finished as well. Raya chose to stop eating the cake and walked to fetch a mineral water in the kitchen. He deliberately brought a large bottle of mineral water along with a small glass for him.
“You drink?” bottles and glasses are placed on the table. Next to a cake he had prepared for Aila.
“Oh yes, Brother. I can ask you something, can't I?”
He poured the bottle of water into a glass. While pouring, Raya asked again what Aila wanted to say. “Bby, want to ask what?”
“No feeling the same Bang Reza,” hastily Raya turned to look at Aila's face which is just ordinary. His facial expression was unpredictable.
Raya thinks about her who often feels strange when with Reza. He became easily happy, but used to be ordinary. Alright, Raya will conclude that it is just a feeling of pleasure to have friends.
“Engga,” the woman next to Raya smiled hearing the answer from her brother.
“Then, may I approach Bang Reza?”
Raya couldn't say anything when Aila said that. For the first time, Raya sees Aila who is excited because Raya does not have any feelings for Reza.
From the question and response behind her sister, Raya can conclude that Aila has different feelings for Reza. More feeling. And Raya had no particular reason to prevent the two from getting close to each other.
“Sure, want me to help?” answer Raya as much as possible. Just because of one question from Aila, Raya was speechless anymore. Didn't Raya already know about Aila's feelings, before she went to Bali a few months ago, right?
The ringing of the cell phone blew it all away. The phone rang because there was a call from someone. Reading the caller. Long life, it turns out from the person who the two are talking about.
“Can I pick up the phone, Brother?” ask Aila. He's very excited. Raya could not let out any expression other than a nod.
Immediately, Aila raised the grinder that he deliberately loudspeaker. “Halo, Bang Reza?” greet Aila who opened the second chat. Raya chose to sit still while watching Aila who was at the tablewab of the call.
“Halo, Al. Ada Raya?” Aila certainly glanced at Raya who maintained her gaze ahead. Even in her heart, she was trying to steal a glance towards Aila.
“Again out, Bang. What's up, huh?” Aila's lying. And Raya can only remain silent. He did not want to ruin his little brother's momentary happiness.
“Oh, so. Please ask Raya yes, she wants to be picked up or not. Please ask, yes” Raya will not want to turn her head, she saw Aila who was not as happy as before.
“Iya, Bang. Aila taki. Oh yes, Bang Reza when is the holiday?”
“Lusa, I guess,” replied Reza across there. “Why?”
Raya still continued to pay attention to Aila who was thinking hard this time. There was something he wanted to say, but hesitated to say it because there was a Kingdom next to him.
“Why, Al? Something you want to talk about again, no?” reza's voice interrupted Aila who was thinking for too long. “Al?”
“Oh Yes, Bang. Aila want to ngajak Bang Reza buyin gift for Kak Raya, Bang Reza want?” Aila understood. The only way to invite Reza does have to start with his brother's name first.
Her name, is not on the list of loved ones for Reza.
“Birthday celebration last month, yes?” tanyakanya.
“Yes, Bang Reza want?” Aila tried to make sure.
“Come, let's all be.” Next, it's time to step back slowly.
