Chpts. 12 - Work

"What's Lidya?". Ask the man.

"Sorry sir, this sister said she was called in for a partime job interview today". Lidya explained to her boss.

"Oh no papa, I called him. Please take care of Lidya. I'll wait in my room in 10 minutes". Said the man then left Lidya and Ara.

"This boss is very confusing the other day informing us that we no longer need partime. Haa ya do it". Lidya Gumam . "Then let's get Ara. I'll show you the room for the interview". Said Lidya while heading towards the boutique office.

After a long wait, Ara was called to enter the room. There was a man waiting for him there.

"Please sit". She said with a smile, Ara welcomed her smile.

"All right, so just get on with it. Are you serious about working as a party employee at this boutique?". Ask the guy to the point.

"Yes sir, I'm serious!". Sahut Ara enthusiastic.

"What is your motivation to work?".

"I worked for my living expenses in this city during college sir". Bright Ara innocently.

"For living expenses only? What is your college cost? Salary as a party officer is not much".

"I went to college on a scholarship sir". Answer Ara.

A few minutes later Leona arrived.

"Mama is good. If I feel bad". Leona said as she laid herself on Ara's bed.

"Why brother?". Ara curious.

"No papa, ordinary business work. Oh yeah, you've eaten yet? We order food through the ojek online only". Leona.

"No, I happened to have a friend of Ara who stopped by here. He's out for a bit of food, looks like he'll be back soon too". Obviously Ara.

"Oh, that's fine. I'm taking a break for a while, Ra". Leona closed her eyes.

"Yes sis". While Leona was resting, Ara left her for a while to go to the restroom.

A few minutes later, Irsyad arrived. He knocked on the door several times but no one opened the door, finally Irsyad took the initiative to open the door himself. Leona was surprised to hear the sound of the door opening, she finally woke up from the bed and walked towards the door.

There was Irsyad standing there and taking off his footwear. Leona was surprised to see Irsyad in front of her eyes even more so in Ara's boarding house.
