Chapter 44
Stella was finally accepted to work at the place, she was very happy because she was welcomed with a friendly.
"Miss, prepare yourself! tomorrow we can start work" said the employee in the office.
"Good, Mom. Thank you for entrusting me" Stella said, then left the office.
Suddenly Stella remembered Angelica, her eyes glazed over. Stella misses her baby, who has just turned a few days old.
Stella then calls Rayhan to ask Angelica about her situation, and tells Rayhan that she has found a job.
"Rico." he said.
It was unexpected that Rico wanted to help him, Stella then sent a message to Rico if he wanted to meet.
Rico, who is currently in a meeting, gets a sharp look from William because his phone rang.
"Sorry sir" said Rico, then took his phone out of his pocket and turned it off.
"Read first! who knows what is important!" said William.
Rico doesn't read Stella's messages, he's afraid her phone was requested by William. After finishing the meeting Rico just read and asked William's permission to leave for a while.
It just so happened that William allowed it, so Rico had a current opportunity to meet Stella.
In a small cafe they meet, all are Rico's ideas. Because William will not be possible to follow to a small cafe.
"What's up, Miss? why ask to meet?" ask Rico.
"From now on call me Stella! actually I want to say thank you, you have helped me," said Stella.
"Miss! I mean, Stella. I don't need to apologize, I'm the one who apologized for helping William back then. I'm really sorry, '" said Rico.
"If you meet his son, Mr. William will be sorry" said Rico.
"Don't let him know! I would never introduce my son to his father" Stella said with a serious face.
"May I meet your son, Stella?" ask Rico.
"For now can't, Rico! I was wrong to leave him to someone, but I did everything for his future" Stella said.
Rico offers Stella help, so she can take her child and she'll hire a babysitter for Stella's child. Rico's gonna pay for all the Stella's kids.
"With money from William?" ask Stella.
"No Stella! my own hard work" said Rico.
"You've been working with William all this time, meaning that money was from William! I don't want to" Stella turned down Rico's offer.
"I can use my company's money if you want, not Mr. William's salary" Rico explained.
"Rico, there was once a person who offered kindness but it didn't last long, I didn't want to trouble you. I don't want to be indebted" Stella said.
"Listen to me, Stella! if anyone does good to you it is a sustenance never to be denied" Rico said, holding Stella's hand.
"Deliver! later someone sees, I don't want to make you bother," Stella said, asking Rico to take off his hand.
"I'm sorry" he said, taking off Stella's hand he was holding.
The two of them then leave the cafe, Rico takes Stella home first and goes to the office to meet William.
What Rico has in mind right now is how to keep Stella from rejecting his offer, because if Stella continues to live in her house sooner or later William will soon find her.
