Chapter 24

William is currently in the kitchen waiting for Mbok Yem, who is cooking William's favorite meal. His phone rang several times, there was an incoming call from Rico. William purposely ignores her out of annoyance with Rico.

"Sir, why aren't you on the phone?" ask Mbok Yem.

"Let Rico look for me, Mbok! they've given people nicknames, " said William.

"Rico must be here, sir. Kan, sleep here," said Mbok Yem.

"Indeed she'd sleep under the bridge, '" sardonic William.

Mbok Yem smiled, knowing that William was angry. In the past when William was a child Mbok Yem always took good care of him, when William was angry Mbok Yem calmed down with interesting things.

Rico sends William a short message, asking if Stella works at home today or not. William heard Stella's name like a self-forgotten person, he immediately replied to a message from Rico. William remembered the unanswered question earlier.

William was already lazy to argue with Kiana, then left Stella and Kiana to his study. In William's study, Rico was researching files from the office.

After William's departure, Stella sat down again and chatted with Kiana.
